McEwen Medical

The staff at McEwen Medical have shown me & have given me their complete attention when I needed things explained to me or I had medical issues. They’ve called me at home just to check on me because of my medical problem!! No other doctor has ever done this.
As for getting appointments and getting me in without waiting forever in the waiting room, they’ve gotten me in almost immediately. I appreciate that.
The only complaint I would have is that there have been to many times, I think, that the doctor has moved somewhere else to work. I loved Dr. Yancey (retired). Then there was Alexandria Cole, then there was Christie Dougherty, now there is Ms. Fields. I PRAY SHE DON’T LEAVE TOO.
Anyway…I’m just saying.

I have never in my life been to a doctor and due to some of my conditions i have seen many and those doctors take an oath to be healers they are supposed to listen and care for your health and complaints and help you improve your quality of life, well never before I ever felt that any doctor heard me much less cared until I ffoforfounddoctor's here at mcewen medical the doc nurses and staff have done more for me and just having them hear me is almost as healing as the treatment. I love all of them and me and my family will continue going there forever if we can.

Both my boys and myself were seen this week and I can't brag enough about the amazing staff at the clinic. Friendly, informative and caring are words I would use to describe the care we received. We were seen in a very timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. We switched from FastPace clinic in Waverly and I am not sorry about it. I'm very impressed with the level of care and look forward to making McEwen Medical our primary care facility. Thank you Alli and Shelley for all you did for us!

Best physician I've ever been to. David is good at what he does and really cares about his patients. Dale works really hard too and is a great nurse.

Best physicians, Nurses and staff around! They are the best💕 never have to wait to be seen! They have even done home visits for mom when she needed them! Absolutely love them!

The clinic has completely turned around, they are prompt, kind, listen and care. It's like the old , horrible staff never existed!

This is the most caring and concerned medical practice I have ever used. They have gone above and beyond in all their interactions. One time they actually met me after hours due to an illness! Not many places will do that anymore.

Very Compassionate staff . Extremely thorough with great communication. Scheduling was easy and very accommodating. So impressed this will be our New Provider...

Never dreamed I'd find another primary care provider to replace Dr. Dominguez, Alli Cole FNP is truly AMAZING and caring this town is lucky to have her.

So thankful to have a local clinic close to home. Friendly staff. Helpful and considerate.

I've been here twice, and will not go back.

I went the first time as a new patient to refill prescriptions and I thought I had a sinus infection. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic without ever even examining me.

Six weeks later and them having my specialists' lab draws, they havent refilled my blood pressure meds and my statin, despite numerous calls and emails.

So now I think I have an ear infection and made an appointment for yesterday, figuring I could address the prescriptions while I was there.

They took me to a room where I sat for an hour without them so much as taking my blood pressure, nevermind just coming in and communicating that there was a delay due to problems with another patient.

A much better practice would have been to let patients know of the delay and let them decide to wait or reschedule.

If I could give them no stars and still write a review I most definitely would. They are the worst and I wouldn't recommend this place to someone I don't like. My dad was given two shots from someone that works here and it was clearly not given correctly or he wouldn't have been in much more pain then he already was in for weeks after going here, he ended up in the hospital with the worst infection the surgeon personally said he's ever seen. He had to have two surgeries to get the infection out of his hip and leg. Now he's left with hospital bills, a scar from the surgeries, and a couple of months not capable of working because of this place that was very much so responsible. If he would have waited much longer to go somewhere with real experience it could have turned life threatening real quick. Please do not trust them with you or your families life.

After weeks of low back pain and other issues, I was told by Jamie Ingles I needed to see a therapist, that my pain was in my head, when she asked who prescribed me medicine and diagnosed me with asthma I answered Yancey, I was told " well I'm not Yancy sweetheart and had the door slammed in my face. St Thomas finally found out what was causing my pain, an ectopic pregnancy which I'm still recovering from.
Naturally I requested not to be seen by her again. Flash forward to present, I made an appointment for myself and my child to be checked for covid. The office even asked me if jamie could do the test because we were already there waiting. I said sure because she didn't even have to do it in person, just sign off and let a nurse do it. She refused, to even test my child after accepting the appointment and making us Change his primary care physician to their facility. The reception and nurse met us at our vehicle with no masks to argue with me while my child was sick in the vehicle the time spend unprotected and arguing could have been spend treating him. I've reported her to the state board and will never be back.

If you charge the same for an office visit as Dr.Morse in Dickson (which your price is actually significantly higher btw) but only write my prescription for 2-3 months instead of 12 then I have to come back 4-6 times a year instead of once. So no, your prices aren't comparable to local providers.

Make an appointment Everytime and it's never less than an hour or more past the appointment time until I'm seen .. horrible service
