Ballard Designs Nashville Tennessee

The crew at Ballard Designs in Green Hills (including the manager, Jace) went WAY above and beyond to help me finish decorating my guest bedroom before my sister and a dear friend came to town. I was scrambling and trying to pull everything together, and truly, they made it happen! They were so very kind and enthusiastic. I left feeling great about the bedroom - and about Ballard.

My wife ordered a table online in August. The delivery date was delayed twice. We decided to visit the store in Nashville to see if they could assist us in getting the table. They had the table on display and after hearing our delay story, and although they don’t usually sell off the floor, they offered us the display table, which we accepted. The gentleman that helped us was extremely nice and apologetic. He was new and said they had previous issues on service that they were working hard to rectify.

I went into store looking for furnishings for our new home and bedding for my Master Bedroom. I'd never been into a Ballard store (just seen the catalog) I was greeted by Alyse Loomis, who has been a professional interior designer for many years. She was unbelievably helpful! She took time pulling different items from all over the store so I could get a beautiful vision of what to expect. I ordered items for several rooms in my home! Some items I was able to take home that day and the rest of the items were delivered in less than a WEEK! The quality of the goods are 10/10. The prices are also very fair! If you shop in store the shipping is complementary on most items with the Larger items having a discounted shipping fee. I have purchased several more items and plan to work with Alyse for future design projects. She is a true professional, went above and beyond and is very passionate about current design! I have ordered items online from Ballard Designs in the past with great success. I’m just now aware they have an actual store in Nashville. I found a rug online and decided to visit the store to see a sample of the rug I was interested in and to feel it. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. My design consultant was Chantae. She was able to show me the exact rug sample and gave great advice. I purchased the Kendal Hand Woven Rug 8x10. It shipped directly to me within 5 days. Chantae was a great help and the quality of this rug is fabulous. I’m so excited to know I can now go to an actual store!!!!

We had a great experience at Ballard Designs recently. Tamara was the designer that helped us pick out fabrics for drapes and upholstery for chairs. She went the extra mile when one of the fabrics we were considering turned out to be out of stock sending us several samples that she would recommend (since we live out of town) and offered professional advice to help us make a good selection. We will definitely be back when it comes time for our next project.

Ballard is a great place to shop with beautiful designs and expert design service. Sherry Prescott is phenomenal! She designed our entire master bedroom with furniture, bedding, lamps, draperies, etc. She listened and helped tailor the design based on our input. Very enjoyable experience that helps take the stress out of the decision making!

What a difference a year makes! I went to Ballard Designs to run in and see what is new and ending up spending over three hours. Alyse greeted me and proceeded to answer my questions, do internet checks and offer so many great suggestions and ideas. The other girls were also very attentive and checking in on me. They do not work on commission so all were willing to answer questions or help me find products. Alyse is an actual designer not a sales person so her experience and suggestions were thought out. I shop from High Point , S &L, PB and others. I had not been in BD for over a year and found the products I was looking for to be of equal or better quality w a much better price point. I do not normally take the time to write reviews but I had such a good experience today I wanted to give them a shout out and encouragement to continue their service. Big bonus that everything I am looking at is avail to ship in less than a month. I have furniture from other places I ordered in June and still waiting on. I seems they have also taken their design/quality up a notch. I noticed a number of finishes /designs in lamps and case goods to be almost knock offs of some of the very high end companies. Shopping is fun again!

I love this store! Our sales lady Catherine Soudoplatoff is phenomenal. The quality of their furniture is excellent.. I've just purchased a new home and my husband and I have been visiting the store quite frequently and every experience we have had has been great. The customer service is great here! Can't wait to visit back soon!

My wife and I have been visiting this store regularly to purchase new items for our home. Catherine the sales lady who has been helping us has been very helpful. She's very knowledgeable about the products they offer and she's very professional as well. We love this store and everything seems to be top quality for us. Everytime we have visited it has always been a wonderful experience for us. We look forward to returning to the store soon.

Been shopping with Ballard’s on line for years.
Appreciate the quality of their products and their customer service. They offer items that are not in every other store.
A few items have been delayed because of covid.
It is a little hassle because they are keeping track of the number of people in the store but again because of Covid restrictions.

Glad they are in Green Hills

We need more stores like them in Nashville.

I am so impressed and appreciative of the Ballard design crew! I had vague ideas walking into the store and Alyse was so talented at helping me edit my ideas and walk out with room plans! From the correctly sized and styled (my solo attempt failied) curtain rods, to organing our tiny mud room needs to finding the PERFECT busy family with pets & kids fabric for a chair we needed. I looked and looked online, but being able to see and touch the fabrics in person was a game changer.

I am blown away at the deeply experienced interior designer advice/assistance/edit service I received in store = FREE.

One of the designers, Melissa, was so helpful to me. I was indecisive on a few fabric colors and needed advice on coordinating existing furniture for a new style of design and she was over the moon helpful! I’m so grateful for Melissa and the whole team!
