Los Potros Taqueria

This place is a hidden gem in Kernersville. They probably offer the most authentic Mexican food in town. I ordered chicken mole and it had lots of flavor and a little bit of kick! 🌶. The rice and beans portion is enough for two people. They also offer good homemade hot sauces. My friends ordered some juice and the staff said they make it fresh daily. They also sell El Milagro brand tortillas in the store (which are the best IMO)

Went there for dinner during the super bowl and it was perfect. Tacos were amazing and stuffed full of meat( ask for the orange habernero sauce). Tortas the size of a football on excellent bread. Menudo was spicy and comforting. Can't wait to try more things on the menu. And they have a meat market and small grocery. Plus I picked up some Spanish watching the game. Only place I'm eating Mexican in kernersville now.

Authentic, fresh, generous helpings of the best tacos around; the horchata is so tasty. You can also buy hog heads in the meat market for $8. Typical tienda and quick lunch. Don't pass it by.

Amazing chicken and carne asada tacos. Meat is so tender and the green sauce is wonderful 🤤 12 tacos and a two liter soda for 19.99. Great deal. Speaking Spanish is a plus as some of the servers don't speak much English. Hidden gem!!

GREAT PLACE! food was HOT! And so good we got chicken mole and a chicken torta and it was very good! Food came out fast and staff was very nice! Place was alittle busy and parking was tight but nothing to bad

I ordered the enchiladas and beef tacos. Both were excellent. The mole on the enchiladas was rich and slightly spicy. The Tortilla tasted soft and fresh. This is the closest to authentic so far.

Always have very helpful and extremely friendly staff members. Every week that I go the employees remember me and always take the time to have a quick chat with me and always ask If I need help with finding anything or if I need help with carrying my groceries out to my vehicle.... this is always my number one place to go grocery shopping. Thanks for all yalls hard work and effort on making your customers feel appreciated and valuabled

This is one of the best places to eat and if you need some quality meats this is the place. Very friendly owners and waitresses. I will coming back and sending lots of people here. I loved the tacos. Atmosphere is nice.

We catered a taco bar from Los Potros for 45 employees. They had the food prepared perfectly and on time for pick up. We had 3 meats, rice, and beans. 2 x 32 oz bottles of salsa were included, as well as the tortillas. My employees are raving over the "Taco Christmas Party".

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. Their food is prepared fresh, when you order it, including the corn tortillas. Some of the best tacos ever with a super friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

This is very authentic and delicious mexican food you will find in Kernersville. The tacos are perfect, if you haven't been to Mexico this is the real deal that you find. I look forward to trying the Barbacoa, pozole and menudo on the weekends. The service is fast the dining area is clean and the owners are very welcoming.
