Palenque Mexican Grill Restaurant

This Mexican restaurant is truly a hidden gem in kernersville. We've been going here a little over a year and have had 0 complaints. The food is always fresh, the wait staff is very attentive and even management is on the floor helping. I got the birria tacos and a michelada, probably one of the best ones I've had. The birria was also very flavorful. My wife ordered a combination plate and also enjoyed her food. This has become our go to spot for Mexican food 👍🏼

Dinner last night was delicious! Found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Kernersville.
We ordered the Especial de la casa (house special) Chicken fajita.. we went again last night.. amazing food and people!

Surprised I've never been here. Salsa was really good. I had the chicken and veggies soup and it was delish!!! Everything was fresh, and service was ☆☆☆☆

Beautiful inside. Great service and amazing food. I enjoy Panchos in High Point but this may be better. My wife loved her chicken. Cheese dip was amazing and so was the salsa. Fajita was yummy too. Can't say enough of how satisfied we were.

My daughter’s took me here for my birthday and it’s very nice, the staff friendly and our waitress was attentive to all our needs and wants. The food and drinks are excellent plus it’s affordable. It was worth driving out in the wind and rain. Much better than SJ here in Kernersviile another’s Mexican spot that’s much closer to me. I recommend Palenque’s and will be back. Skip SJ’s unless you want a subpar experience.

Great food, great prices... The portions were perfect and lots of great dips you can get for the table...as well as pitchers of margaritas! There was a small wait for a Saturday night which is a sign that the food is good and worth waiting for and that was definitely the case here! Everyone of us left full and happy

I liked this place, everything was so tasty. We ordered ceviche and quesadillas (chicken and steak). Our server Jackeline T was really nice. The prices were really affordable. And I think even the owner came to us to ask if everything is good. We will definitely come back again. ❤

Food was delicious, and def worth the recommendation I got from coworkers! Their hot salsa is a perfect level of hot, getting right to the tipping point of being 'too hot'

Awesome Experience! Great food. Reasonably priced! Amazing service. We found our new Spanish / Mexican restaurant home. They definitely stole my service from Don Juan's. We will be back!

OMG !! I can’t believe I lived right down the road from the place for over a year and this is my first time ever trying it. The servers were so sweet the second we walked in. Everyone was very attentive. Food was AMAZING! Appetizers were great, dinner was great & the dessert was amazing :) Loved it all so much. Definitely just found my new favorite restaurant and best part? Walking distance :)

Let’s talk about Palenque of Kernersvile. We went for lunch today and I asked if they could make crunchy tacos but with flour tortillas. He spoke with the kitchen, they did a test fry of the tortilla and voilà. When he told us they could, I literally clapped my hands. Shouldn’t all food bring such joy? We both ordered 3 each. They were fantastic! So light and crispy and they were loaded with seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce and lots of shredded cheese. We were thrilled with them and I would definitely get these again…Every. Time. I love Palenque for stepping off the menu and creating a special request. Of course the service was outstanding and the restaurant is always impeccably clean. ❤🔥🌮

Just had a wonderful meal at Palenque Grill in the Cantera area of San Antonio. We ordered the parrillada which came with delicious arroz rojo y frijoles charros, as well as camarones relleno. It was all cooked to perfection. We also tried the ceviche tostada which was incredibly fresh and flavorful.

A special shout-out to our waiter Oscar and the Manager Joe, who provided excellent service and made sure we had a great dining experience.

The food at Palenque Grill has a wonderful north Mexican Pacific style that really shines through in the bright, bold flavors, being from that specific area I can definitely confirm it’s authentic style. Everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic, high-quality Mexican cuisine. Can't wait to go back!

Second visit to this establishment. Both times had good food and very attentive staff who were very friendly and courteous! The place is crowded for a reason.

Clean, quick and good, with lots of food options to choose from. Highly recommend coming here for your Mexican eats.
