Beatty's Ford Park

Easy place to launch your boat for a nice afternoon on the lake.
I could see how it could get busy and a bit crowded at the boat launch, so go early to make sure you get a parking spot.

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Norman, Beatty's Ford Park beckons visitors with its serene beauty and abundant natural charm. Tall trees sway gently in the breeze, their verdant branches offering shade and shelter to all who seek respite from the summer heat. The sound of laughter and joy fills the air as families gather for picnics on the lush green lawns, while children frolic in the playgrounds, their laughter echoing across the lake.

Nice clean park with concrete path to picnic pavilions. Some intriguing gardens near entrance. Trail into wooded area. Restrooms near parking lot.

Very pretty. Right on Lake Norman. Has boat launch, splash pad and playground for kids. Peaceful. Enjoyed!

Pretty nice park and boat launch. They have a nice playground, and a wide open field that is surrounded by a nice lush forest. Came here over a weekend and it wasn't crowded at all. There was plenty of parking at the boat launch and in the park, and there were plenty of places to launch a kayak. After being on the water for a bit I was able to come back to the boat launch and get back on shore from there. Would recommend this place for the launch, and if you just want to hang out somewhere that's incredibly peaceful.

Beautiful park - lots to do with the whole family: frisbee golf, volleyball, splash area, 4 boat ramps and 2 piers, plus plenty of areas to fish.

Small park with beautiful lake side view. Feels peaceful. Visited on a weekend with family. Not crowded. Feels great sitting close to water.

Nice park lots of jungle gyms and slides for the kids, a splash pad and outdoor fireplace. Volley ball courts and nature walks all conveniently located on the lake norman. Also has boat access

Beautiful park! The splash pad was very popular. The trial around the volleyball area was a nice little walk as well. The park is well maintained.
Fyi, the splash pad will only be open here until labor day when it closes.

Beautiful park with fields, disc gold, playgrounds, and even a stage right along the water.

So beautiful! We visited yesterday for the first time since the kids were little. The park had literally just opened then. We tried to go a lot then. All the tress have grown up now and are shading the park beautifully. The splash pad still looks great! The playground and grounds look really nice still! The little path through the woods looks cleaned out and kept well! The bathrooms are still sweltering hot! Lol! My daughter and I brought a little girl from our church and introduced her to the park. It's an absolute favorite memory holder for me and a truly beautiful place to go. Lots more to offer too!

A great park on the water with a really nice disc golf course. Easy for beginners.

Modern facilities surrounded by nature. Great for families, dog owners, biking, picnics, has boat ramp...I can go on.

I love Beattys Ford Park! I hope it the plans for a public beach do not happen! It would ruin this part of Denver, the intimacy of the park, playground, splash pad, clean lake water and the road doesn’t hold heavy traffic! I would no longer take my grandchildren there, it would not be the beautiful, intimate park it is intended to be.

Great little park with a 8-hole disc course, lake access, walking trail, kids park and splash pad, and plenty of picnic tables. The bathrooms are clean and there’s a cop lake station right on the park so I always feel safe there. Never really busy

This park is fun for toddlers! There are a lot of hardened paths for early walkers. The playground is shaded, and while we were there off-season, the splash pad was sunny. Looks like a nice place for families of all stages.

This is a nice small park. A really small walking trail but perfect for the little ones. Great place to teach a child to ride a bike or skate. Playground is nice too. There’s a splash pad and bathrooms. Our favorite is that you can see the lake and walk to it where the boats go down. The kids like to pick rocks and stuff down there.

Right on Lake Norman. The water feature looked fun, busy, and well kept. Lots of BBQ spots and pavilions. Fishing spots by the boat ramp. Lots of parking.
