I've been to Howard Automotive several times now. Each visit showed me that not only Barry, the co owner and chief mechanic, knows what he is doing, but his partner Jennifer is very knowledgeable too. She speaks in a clear and concise manner and is forthright in her recommendations. She has saved me more than $2k over the past few years, compared to what the dealership would have charged me. This speaks to the trust and honesty this family owned business offers. Barry has been able to repair tire issues r/t the rim and do other work that Chapel Hill Tire couldn't do. Most recently, a mouse chewed through parts near the fuel pump and tank. Hendrick Toyota of Apex charged us $153 just for the assessment of rodent damage and quoted us a $1550 cost plus tax to repair the damage. Howard Auto charged 0 for the assessment and $126. for repair.

I've been taking my 4 cars there for over 3 years. It's a trusted family run business. They spend the time explaining the problem and the repair and I've never had a problem with their work.

Friendly, courteous, very timely in completing work -- goes the extra step. In addition to great facilities, they offer a nice space to wait if needed as well as means to leave your car for next-day work. Above all, expert, experienced techs with a wealth of knowledge about most things vehicle related. Barry has had my trust for more than 25 years.

We always bring our cars to Barry. He is knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. His wife, Jennifer is so sweet and my children love to come with me so they get a lollipop and get to pet their sweetie yorkie dog. The waiting room is clean, with coffee and pre packaged goodies, a tv, childrens books, magazines and free Wi-Fi. I never feel taken advantage of. Great service, good people!

I've been bringing my family's automobiles to Howard's Automotive for almost two years. They never try to oversell any service you don't need! You can trust any repairs that are they recommend. I have absolutely no complaints about any work done at this establishment.

I took my newly purchased old Jeep in yesterday for a pre purchase check. They were wonderful!!

Schedule my car inspection, took it in on time and they started right on time. Took 20-30 minutes for an inspection and emissions check. Very friendly and efficient!
