We LOVED it! Very cool place to check out and picnic at. Plenty table and grill areas. Trails to hike that are moderate enough for kids. The old mill was gorgeous and still has a lot of old pieces to check out. A few swings for kids to play on. All around we had a great trip. We spent close to 4 hours just roaming and picnicking.

Ive been wanting to go. Made it today. It was rainy trails werent recommended because of this. The scenery the falls, the grist mill absolutely beautiful.
The stairs down are a bit steep. Some areas are accesible for those who have needs for accomodations. The entry to trails seem a bit steep so i wouldnt recommmend if you have knee problems. Will definitely be back in summer. 5$ entry fee

My family and I visited on Valentine's Day. We walked the trails and enjoyed a picnic at Dunns Falls. It was absolutely beautiful!

Wolfanger Wife Photography, LLC captured such amazing pictures while we were hanging out as a family!

I honestly can't wait to come back and take more pictures, plus enjoy another picnic with the family! We drove in from Gulfport. And it was absolutely worth the drive!

Enjoyed walking around here. The falls were nice and so was the grist mill. Lady at ticket booth was very friendly and helpful. Just off interstate, and not long hike.
Had hiking trails also and a nice fishing lake.
Grounds were very clean. The wood is getting in need if repair. Price was very reasonable. Might need to raise it a little to get money to up grade the wood stairs down to the bottom of the falls.

This little place is worth the stop! Just a few minutes off the interstate. If you take the stairs down the bottom of the falls, you can get in the water. You can get fish food to feed the fish, too. The kids will love it. I highly suggest taking a few and checking it out.

Pretty setting not too far off major highways. It's always nice to stop and see scenery, enjoy the journey, and the destination.
There is a modest admission fee. Restrooms are clean. There are pretty trails to walk in addition to the highlight which is the mill and waterfall. We brought our dogs and kept them leashed.

Not a water park. It’s a rustic historical site that allows you to get up close to historical artifacts. Wide, peaceful hiking trails along the river. Not fancy and needs a little maintenance but worth a visit. Very picturesque.

Went here on March 21, 2020 and was not disappointed. It was $3.25 per person to get in. We toured the grounds and took a trip down the boardwalk by the lake to the picnic area. Very tranquil. We then explored the first two levels of the old grist mill. Very neat old relics of the past were on display in both levels. The views from the windows were scenic as well. After travelling down the flight of stairs to the bottom (which were at times a little steep), we made it to the main attraction. We walked out onto the plateau beneath the waterfall and stared at its majesty. If not for the mill and water wheel, you would think this was a natural waterfall. We spent a while taking photos and videos of the falls and the nearby Chunky river, then we hoofed it onto the hiking trail nearby. The trail is a beaten footpath through the woods running beside the Chunky river. There were a couple of spots with downed trees and washout, but we navigated through or around them. The end of the trail is the Boy Scout camping area. Not much there except a nice view of the Chunky river just before it takes its bend towards Dunns Falls. Another place to check out nearby is Stuckey's Bridge. It's about a 20 minute drive northwest of Dunns Falls. It is a pretty old iron bridge across the Chunky river from the early 1900s. It has a history and is supposedly haunted, but we didn't experience anything while we were there.

Driving through we discovered this very unique and off the beaten path destination. A few miles off the interstate you arrive to what looks unassuming and desolate. We were greeted by an employee that was very friendly and she explained it’d be three dollars and a quarter for each to enter, thought it was a little funny about the quarter but I guess it all adds up. At first we thought this was going to be a 10 minute look around but we were pleasantly surprised there was much more. From the mill to the waterfalls to the surrounding walking paths there’s plenty to venture for a few hours. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the area for a quick visit.

You know those signs on the side of the road for attractions...stop! This was a gem to find! Not only is it beautiful and easy to get to, but it's a Boy Scout and public campground.

It only cost $3.25 , $2.25 for children under 12. Which that is the cheapest price I've paid for anything in a long time! And it's well worth it. There's multiple things to see and do, and it's a very amazing atmosphere in the nature. My kids and me were impressed, and for the price everyone should see this place! You're even allowed to walk on the waterfall but be very careful it is more slippery than you think. There's also an old building or house you can walk inside with tons of old stuff to see. So it's a learning and teaching experience as well.

We loved our day spent at Dunn's Falls Park. The staff was friendly, and the property was beautiful & well-maintained. We loved the hiking trails that had been newly marked and easy to follow for beginners to more experienced hikers. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous waterfall! Lots of hiking trails. There is a cabin you can rent. Call for availability. Great for entire family. Swimming permitted in certain areas. Some ramps for ♿ but mostly a lot of stairs to the bottom of the falls. There is also an old mill with tools. Signs around the park give the history.

Very neat place to checkout. They have parking for semis/straight trucks if you want to stop for a few minutes and check things out. A little off the highway so no restrooms or showers available. However, they do have a Cabin available for daily/weekly/monthly rental and some primitive camping locations on the grounds. There is a small lake that the water flows over the waterfall that was created for this Mill.
Fishing is available in the lake or down at the river, 92 steps down to the river. Make sure you have water boots if you want to walk on the rocks as the water would flood tennis shoes.
Swimming is available in the creek/river but it does say not recommended due to the shallow rocky waters.
You won't be disappointed for stopping even if just for a 30 minute break.

Cost is $3.25 per person and they take credit cards (except AMEX).

Open Wednesday thru Sunday 9am - 5pm, Closed Monday & Tuesday.

Beautiful stop just off the highway. A rather small place, but the waterfall and old mill are beautiful and full of history. Would make a quiet, restful leg-stretching stop on a long trip.

Fun little slice of history that can be completed in 30 minutes or so. Beautiful nature combined with unencumbered access to something almost as old as America itself!

Definitely worth a stop if you're looking to stretch your legs and want something notable for a few bucks.

I wouldn't necessarily call it a water park. It's an old Gris Mill that is still standing and flows into the river. Since having the mill it created one of the prettiest waterfalls I've seen. Especially for Mississippi, actually it's pretty awesome to see a waterfall in Mississippi. There's really no where to swim I guess if you wanna swim in the river you can, but that being said it's really awesome that you can climb up the Waterfall giving you a very unique experience. Also I if I can get into a Waterfall you best bet that I'm gonna get in one. We drove from Mobile, Alabama to see this and it was definitely worth it. Also has some hiking trails which will be fun next time we come. Truly a unique experience.
