Squealer's

We stopped by on our way back to Virginia. The food was amazing and the staff was super nice and laid back. If we are ever back that way we will 100% swing by. The fried pig(deep fried bacon) is delicious. My kid made me go back in and get her a second order for the road.

Food was really good! The staff was very polite, and I loved that they brought out my water in a Mason jar. It was my first time there and was surprised that pork skins was the given item, I'm not from Mississippi and it was a treat to eat here. Whenever I come back I will want to come and eat here again.

A great find. Good 👍 food, good service, lots of pictures, onion rings were wonderful. They have a sampler plate which turned into more than enough for 2 people. Owner was friendly when asked questions.

January 23, 2023. My first time here in Squealer's. I'm dining on a delicious supper that consists of fried mushrooms as an appetizer; tossed green salad of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, grated cheese, croutons, and blue cheese dressing; a large corn fritter; pulled pork; home fries; a couple of Bud Light beers on draft, topped with excellent service by Harley and Blair, all in a very welcoming and clean environment. Life is good!🙂

I’m screwed. It’ll be the only bbq place I’ll eat at now. First, they bring you a basket of pork skins to your table. Had to sampler platter, it was enough to feed two. The meat was cooked perfectly. Everything was juicy and a fall apart. Third, get the fried banana pudding! Just do it. Also our waiter was awesome!

We tried their cheese sticks and they were so good. Not greasy and great marinara. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Quick service.

Great service. Food was more then we could eat. Onion rings were their own breading.

My Mom and I got the pulled pork sandwiches and the meat was super tasty! The honey bbq sauce to go with it was very good as well. Best fried okra I have eaten in awhile! Even my grandmother agrees! The fries were hot and fresh also. The sweet tea was just right! The pork skins they serve you before your meal are super crunchy as well. The theme of the restaurant is super neat also. Definitely will be back again! :)

Food was good. We had a pulled pork sandwich and a sliced brisket sandwich. Jasmine was our server and she did a Great job. I did have a problem with the floor. It was so sticky I thought it was going to pull my shoes off. That was nasty

This was my 1st time eating here. I live in Kosciusko, everyone was friendly, even the customers. They gave my friend & I pig wings to sample & they were good, good, I ordered the sampler plate, lots of food for a great price. I am a very picky eater, well return for more when I come back that way. Thanks

Amazing BBQ! Homemade sauces to die for! Very friendly staff and atmosphere!

I ate dinner here while staying in Meridian for work. I was told the food was great, so I got the sampler and was not disappointed. My favorite was their pulled pork or smoked wings. I'm very particular about my brisket and theirs was a little underwhelming. They bring you pork skins while you wait and they are a freshly made treat!

We stopped in on the way home to Birmingham from a few days in New Orleans - and we are (all 4 )very picky about good food and service. Now these Squealer folks are super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. BBQ brisket sandwiches - fries - fried okra to go and it all was over the top ! Just in case we got hungry later I got a slab of ribs and they were so tender, smoky and delish that I only shared a few. We'll be back on our next trip West !

The ribs were delicious! And I love the pork skins they bring out complimentary!! Harley was a fantastic waitress. We will for sure be going back when in the area!

Excellent food AND drinks, friendly service and really cool atmosphere! Minimal wait time to be seated, food came rather fast also. There's a comfy little bar area if you like adult beverages and outdoor seating for nice weather days. From the sweet tea in a big Mason jar to the fried Twinkie for dessert, we were VERY pleased with our choice today and will definitely be back!

Driving through MS looking for a lunch spot and we found Squealers. We are bowled over by how awesome the food and the entire experience was. Our server, Scarlett, was so friendly, efficient and helpful. We had pulled pork and brisket dinners. Both were so delicious, as were the sides. Hard to say what was best, but the corn fritters were amazing. And the house made pork rinds were the best I have ever had. If you are in the Meridian area, don't miss Squealers!!

On our road trip from Houston to Georgia, my family enjoyed a lovely meal with fantastic service at Squealers. But I would really like to brag about the owner, Theresa. When we made it to our overnight stop, 2 hours away, I realized I left my purse at the restaurant. Theresa refused to let us drive back (4 hours round trip!) to get it. Instead, she brought it to a FedEx and overnighted it to me at my next stop. I cried tears of relief. Theresa gave me the much needed reminder that there are very, very kind people left in this world. Go enjoy some great home cooking, and tell Theresa hi!
