Yes, there will be a long wait. True for any cancer center. Dr. Halbrook has treated me for cancer 4 different times. I am cancer free. Now he keeps a watchful eye on me to catch any cancer that may return. He is great, the receptionist and other staff are wonderful. I have never had a problem with any of them. I have seen many patients being rude and disrespectful. Please be patient and above all be nice.

The nicest staff you will ever meet. They make you feel comfortable. When i walked in, i was still in denial. How could this be true ? I can't have cancer ? I am too busy ? I have a son to take care of ...I am supposed to be the strong mom that always takes care of everyone else...They answered all of my questions even before i had to ask. You could not ask for a better team to care for you... from the moment you walk in the front door until you leave you will be treated by the most wonderful caring team ever..On a lighter note...Dr. Dulaney looks like the sweetest little boy that you would see sitting in church every Sunday.. and Dr. Cassell looks like he just stepped out of a Halmark Christmas movie.. I am sure , before i am finished there everyone will have a new job, in my head...They all will give you a reason to smile.. Stay positive... They are.. and i am thankful for all of them...

Dr Hollbrook should retire . He should not be treating people . Cancer is already killing them and to have him in the office treating people like they don't matter doesn't help them feel like they are going to be able to trust him. His staff is on the same level. Putting a sign up in the reception window saying $20 a page paid to the receptionist for help fill out the paper work that helps them get treatment to save their lives. All the while they sit and gossip about the patients with no regard for the other patients waiting and hearing them. The nurses seem to think they have the right to be rude because Dr Halbrook is a bully and mistreat patients in front them. It's shameful and disgusting.

Went to Meridian oncology had 115 appt. Went to back room at 240. At 4pm went to nurses station to complain about extended wait . Doc Halbrook was at counter said he would be with me when he could. I was irate and he got irate and asked me if I wanted my butt kicked.. wow. Not sure he should be seeing patients with that attitude. Will be more than happy to discuss with anyone about it.
