Stuckey's Bridge

Was worth the drive to check it out. Bridge is damaged so be careful if you walk on it. Google the back history of the bridge before going. Cool lil haunted bridge tho I didn't see no Stucky while I was there lol.

I love these old bridges, they have character, something that is missing in the concrete ones.

Named Stuckey's Bridge for John Stuckey who owned the land that the original bridge and roadbed was built on. The family only settled here for a few years before moving off to Arkansas and Texas. The only Stuckey who remained in the area was Simon William Stuckey, who died in 1911 and is buried in Meehan Cemetery. The story is fun too though. The bridge wasn't super safe when last I went, and is largely covered in graffiti.

Not sure that it's haunted, cool scenery tho it looks cool. Cool history too, well, maybe cool isn't the word but it's interesting

Really Cool old bridge, built 1901, needs some minor repairs of boards, but it still stands after all these years, we visited it last year at night, perfect spookiness.
