Outback Steakhouse

Our waitress Amy was awesome! Very sweet and attentive. The Bartender for the night was Erika, her drinks were amazing. I had the black cherry flavored drink and my husband had the patron margarita. For dinner I had the surf and turf and my husband had the New York strip. Everything was cooked to perfection.

Food was delicious. Hats off to Saturday's chef around 4 pm. Had a very young male waiter. Very polite, but a little slow with service. He seemed to be fairly new employees. Tipped him well. Hope it will encourage him to be more attentive.

I very very much enjoyed eating here. I will start with the only thing I felt was wrong.. the manager? It seemed to be him I think? Was a much older fella then the rest that were there.. He was fussing at coworkers? Also was sitting alot of the time? Lazy like.. and was fuzzing at the coworkers at the door??? In front of the entire place. Big big no no. Go outside or out back or go to the kitchen? Away from your customers! We don't want to see all that. Makes a bad atmosphere. Not very professional and get up! Set an example for the rest of your crew. No one.. including me.. which was a customer.. isn't going to take you serious..
Other then that the service was WONDERFUL! The young fella that helped us was awesome! We tipped him 20 bucks. He even had a conversation with us. He offered us extra drinks to go.. checked on us 8? times? He gave exactly what we asked for.. of course we asked for very little and asked nicely.. not demanding.. like some customers I have seen. Can't stand seeing people treat workers like that in places.. but he made sure the few things I was allergic to was NOT in the food. Big big winner there! Health of the customers is very important! He gave us extra napkins.... we didnt even ask for but ended uo needing! Thank you! I asked for his name.. but forgot it.. he was tall? Dark skinned fella. Curly hair. 17 or 18? Thank you for your kind service. It was the best we have ever had. Not just there, but many places. We go out aloot. I put out very honest reviews..
Place was very very cleaned. Bathrooms were cleaned!
At the beginning.. we asked to be reseated. We weren't comfortable where we were 1st seated... which we were seated by someone else.. not him. But he reseated us. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Very kind. Big thanks there.
The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly! Not too salty.. not too spicy. The asparagus maybe could have been cut a little shorter (the end) to avoid the hard ends but was still seasoned well and wasn't over cooked. Yummy still. The sweet potato had a little too much SWEET in it. It is a sweet potato. You dont have to add so much SWEET to make it even more. A little honey and brown sugar is okay. But just a sprinkle. Not a whole teaspoon. (Which way ay too much was added) Didn't eat it all for that reason..
The food all together was pretty darn good so I can't complain too much. I would definitely return and I recommend! I have came here alot and I always return.
Mac and cheese was a little cold but still had a yummy taste and a great presentation.
Frys were good.
The onion! As always.. delicious. Sometimes it can be a little greasy.. but other then that.. that sauce is absolutely delicious! Asked for extra and got! Thank you!
Got some etouffee.. juust to see how it tasted. Was perfect nearly and not too spicy. I am from Louisiana and yeah.. we love our etouffee. Was very pleased with that.

Everything about this visit was amazing. Our drinks never got empty, fresh bread was constantly brought. Our orders were cooked to perfection. No long wait on food to come out. Everything went smooth and exceeded expectations

Flew into Meridian and got hungry for a steak. Great steaks to be found here, and close to the airport as well.

My mother and I had a nice experience tonight. Christopher was the best server; he could easily be a server in a fine dining restaurant! Will be asking for him again.

First time in a long time…. Everything was perfect! Food was prepared to perfection. And the service was AMAZING! I’m not sure what happened today but please keep it up. I want to thank every employee there today. My wife and I honestly enjoyed everything from the time we walked in to the second we walked out.

I really did enjoy lunch with my friends. The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere was so pleasant.

Food was fantastic!! Had family visiting from out of town and was their first time at this restaurant and we're absolutely pleased we decided to go that day. It was a bit of a wait but it was truly worth it. Our waitress Ashley was great, she checked in on us often but not too often to be annoying. Everything was on point, food, service and cleanliness. Will surely be back if ever we are in Meridian. Loved it!!

I haven't been to an Outback in years, having had some poor experiences at other locations in the past, but this Outback location gave me pause and made me reconsider my thoughts on chain steakhouses and OSH in particular.

The food was good, well prepared, and very reasonably priced. My steak came out *perfectly* medium rare and my dining companions enjoyed their fare as well.

The real shining star here was the service. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, from the hostess at the front to the busser we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our waitress was truly excellent, checking on our table often enough to let us know that she was paying attention to our experience. They were out of one or two things (hey man, that happens) and she was very communicative and helped us with alternate selections. We left *very* satisfied.

We all were very impressed at the level of service and attention to detail. "No one wants to work anymore" is a problematic statement at many levels, but it is very thoroughly disproved by the staff at the Meridian, Mississippi Outback location.

It was a little chilly where I sat, but the manager was accommodating and adjusted the temperature for our table. The food was great, and I had the blooming onion, Victoria's filet with baked potatoes and a side salad.

Great service & food! Our server Raquita (not sure about spelling) was fantastic. We had the chicken and shrimp pasta, and it was delicious.

The drinks were great ny michelob ultra on tap was so crisp the steaks were juicy and extremely tender honestly for my first time at outback this is my new favorite steak house everything was up to par I have not one complaint we both got the 4 course meals for 15.99 great deal

Carley was the best, A beautiful/friendly face to start out our night. She was amazingly sweet and made our night with her spectacular outgoing and overall welcoming personality!!! confidently take care of our party and accommodating us beyond expectations.

Food was great and didn't have to wait long despite it being crowded already.

Our experience was very pleasant. We had Kenny as our waiter and wecould nothave left from there any happier. The food came from the kitchen so quickly it seemed impossible. Our sever was so attentive that we never had to ask or motion for anything. Our dishes were set in front of us By Mr. Kenny and I managed to snap a picture before we devoured what we were able to hold at that moment. Which was "Alice Spring Chicken" with a loaded potatoe. Then the "Toowoomba Pasta" with broccoli as the side. Not the best picture but it was delicious. If given the option to pick your server go for KENNY! He makes you feel at home yet stays professional.

The food was very good ate appetizers and you get a good amount of food to share or eat by yourself.

We always stop in and eat here when in town. It's the best place to go. Friendly people and good food!

My group really Enjoyed ourselves. We will visit another Outback Steakhouse restaurant in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
