Compadres Mexican Grill

Went here based on a recommendation, the salsa is decent, I drink tea and it was good. Service was okay, very friendly, was just a bit overwhelmed with other things from the looks of it. I ordered the Volcano Fajita and it was fantastic, best dish I've gotten from any Mexican restaurant, will definitely be a regular now.

My family had an enjoyable experience. The dining area is well decorated and clean. The food was better than most places around. We always have special orders and the food came out correct. This place is our New Mexican favorite. Highly recommend.

This place is the real deal! Authentic Mexican food is hard to find around here but they have it! I will be back

Fresh, NON-GREASY tacos/quesadillas/enchiladas. Thick salsa that's not too spicy.

And 2 for 1 margs!

The service and food was excellent. My husband and I both got the Lava Fajita. It was delicious It was the best Mexican Restaurant I've been to since we lived in Mississippi for the last 2 years. I will definitely go back.

Friendly staff and good food, I would recommend the Mexican street corn.

We eat here at least once a week as a family. We have never had anything that was not delicious, and the employees treat you like family. Great food and wonderful people.

Out of all of the Mexican restaurants in the are compadres is the best. Service is fast. The restaurant is always clean and never to crowded. Prices are reasonable. For each occasion. Great lunch menu. Drinks are great as well. For me this is a 5 star rating hands down. Staff is amazing as well.

The fajita tacos are the best I've ever had

I have drove past this place a million times living off of old hwy 11... and to my surprise this place is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in my 30 years!! Not only is the food amazing but the service is absolutely great... I didn’t catch their names but the husband and wife duo their hosting and serving is beyond amazing!! I had the Hawaiian fajitas (chicken and steak) every bite was perfect and the steak OMG absolutely perfection. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and service!! I would recommend this place to any and everyone searching for a good place to eat with great food and amazing service!!!! And not to mention the price you pay for the food and service is by far the best I have witnessed from any Mexican restaurant in the area... I would have definitely paid more for the service and the quality of the food and service!!!

Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant in hattiesburg. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is immaculately clean. The food is simple but fresh and they will do anything they can to get your order to you exactly how you want it. Not to mention cheap prices, and easily the best Margaritas around. Can't recommend it enough, it's a humble and perfect spot.

What a wonderful place! Our family of 7 has been 2x and we're so happy to find our new mexican place (we just moved to town not that long ago). The food is exceptional... hands down the best we've ever eaten. All of my kids have something they love and I can't recommend it enough!

What a great place! We were seated promptly, drink order taken and brought quickly. They gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and allowed substitutions and additions to items. My niece, who is 8, decided her tamales weren't what she wanted (gasp!) and ordered something else, which came out quick like the other food. But those tamales. Wow. I have Hispanic bloodlines and grew up going to Corpus Christi as a child and bringing back tamales and these were the closest things I've had to being like those from my childhood. And I dony say that lightly. My father (the Spanish speaker), and 2 of my sisters all agreed, those tamales are AWESOME! I'll be back to sample some of the other things on their menu and to get more of those tamales!

The street tacos are 🔥🔥🔥. Great service and they have really good sauces...add some to your salsa to take things to another level. Guacamole is solid. All in all, respectable choice for Mexican cuisine.

Me and my son love the food here. He had a huge taco salad and I had the Hombre's platter. I hope I spelled that correct. It was a platter of miniature fajitas. Grilled steak, chicken & shrimp with grilled onions, green bell peppers and some kind of spicy pepper, sauteed and a plate of rice, beans, lettuce and tomatoes. It was all very delicious and we got full.

I thought this place was awesome. Good prices, friendly staff, ample servings, and clean environment. Going back tonight to go for round 2.
