The Rib Shack

Tried the pork ribs and the brisket, and each bite was a taste of barbecue perfection. Not only that, but the portion sizes were impressively generous! I will definitely be returning to The Rib Shack when I visit Meridian again.

Quite simply the best Ribs I’ve ever tasted in my life!
On vacation from England touring the Deep South we stopped here for lunch before heading to Tupelo, what a great choice!
The aroma and the taste is linger in my memory I’m looking forward to returning on my next visit.

I want to move to Meridian so I can come here every week! Best real Southern style BBQ I’ve ever had. I’m traveling home to GA from CA. I sure loved the food and hospitality at the Rib Shack. Try the Caramel Cake for dessert 😋

Let me tell you that this is some hardcore BBQ. It hits the spot and is super delicious. The restaurant is very much a dive, but in a good, nostalgic way that hits you in the feels and brings the experience screaming into a home run. The beef and pork are delicious. The portions excellent. The sauce is a spot on sweet and spicy blend that BBQ sauce should be. Definitely check this place out if you are in town. And you definitely don't need no teeth to eat this BBQ, as the sign says coming into the store.

Wife and I and son stopped here today 9/8/23 after I got out of hospital. First time here. We had absolutely the best BBQ we have ever had. Wife got the pulled pork plate, I had the Rib plate with fried okra (Best Okra) I had to get a extra serving of Okra. Son had the Catfish plate and he was blown away, said he wish it was 4 pieces instead. The employees and the owner were supper nice and appreciated. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food was outstanding and we will make this our go to for BBQ in Meridian,MS. 🍗🐖🐂🐔🐋⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything on the menu is good. I could eat here every couple of days. It costs a little more but it's worth it.

Out of everyone I have been to the Rib Shack has the best ribs baked beans potato salad and have the best barbecue sandwiches in Meridian I wouldn't go nowhere else to buy my ribs Rib Shack has the best I would recommend this to all my family and friends.

Absolutely fantastic!! Great food, friendly service. Met the owner Ronnie. This place was a gem to find. The nice lady at the Mississippi welcoming center recommended this place, and thank God she did.

Amazing bbq. Fall off the bone ribs. Sides are all great. Leave room for the cake...it's legit. Place is clean and nicely decorated. This is REAL southern bbq.

The ribs were the biggest I've ever seen! They were amazing. The pulled chicken was great. They have lots of choices of meats an sides. Will be goin back.

Don’t waste your time with Squealers. In town for work. I saw this and looked like a real local place. Went with the rib tips. Was not disappointed. Best bbq I’ve had in a while. Skip the chain place and head to the Rib Shack.

Stopped here on our way back to Illinois. All the sides and meat were amazing! If you’re in the area looking for somewhere to stop for some legitimate bbq, this is it!!!!

Those beef Ribs are the BOMB!!

Ribs were good and very smokey. I got the sauce on the side and only used a portion of it. It was tasty but the ribs didn't need much. Mac-n-cheese was also very good.

Excellent ribs and pulled pork, yams were delicious. Definitely be going back!! The ladies at the register are super nice and helpful.
