Aie's Taste of Thai

Great home cooked food. Very low key place. Super friendly people! Street parking could be tough. I had the Thai basil with shrimp. Nice plump shrimp and quite a few. Veggies in it were mostly mushrooms and bean sprouts. I got 4 out of 5 in spice and asked for more. 5 is nice and sinus clearing spicy! Definitely going back.

This is a great spot for Thai food. I would highly recommend the place for lunch, and if you're feeling generous, get the "make me whatever" option. It's a little pricey for lunch, but definitely well worth the experience. The medley of flavors was delicious. Super friendly staff, and great food.

Blink and you'll pass this place on the corner of downtown Meridian. Interesting decor with a modern spin on Thai memorabilia. Friendly local staff. Had the Pad Thai with a side of Fried Dumplings. Enjoyed both dishes. They asked how HOT to make my Pad Thai. On a scale of 1 to 5, I asked for a 4. Seriously, I don't normally spice anything or seek HOT food. I'm not THAT GUY. But in my experience 1-3 is normal, 4 is mild and 5 is actually hot. In this case... 4 was pretty mild. Not saying it was BAD. But if you like to sweat, 4 is not going to touch you. It only seemed a smidgen above mild to me. Great flavor though!

I had the Yellow Curry with Chicken and a spice level of 3. It was absolutely wonderful. The level 3 wasn't quite as spicy as I thought it would be, but the flavors within the curry complimented the vegetables, rice, and chicken so well. I will definitely be coming back here.

The food was amazing. I ordered a little bit of everything. We had a big party and not only was our food out in a timely manner,the waitress was super attentive.

Fun and full of local color. Great food. Cooked to order. Great for take out or dine in. Aie aims to please and never disappointed!! We have eaten there since day one and we are always excited to see the use of local vegetables and seafood. Great food and good prices and always a fun crowd!

Such a great place! The owner cooks the food herself and is a Meridian staple for showing love and kindness. The food is great- you even get to choose your level of spiciness. They will also accommodate large parties at advance request.

I tried the feed me whatever! It was great. The service was awesome, she so nice and beautiful. Highly recommended

I’ve eaten here many times. I usually get the Nam Tok with a spice level of 3! It is my absolute favorite meal! The dumplings, lumpia, egg rolls and fried rice are also amazing. But even better than the food is the staff and owner. They make always make you feel at home. Any time the community is in need they are there! 12/10! Highly recommend!

I have been eating here for years & the food is always GREAT!! This is one of my favorite local restaurants. Only bad thing about this place is it takes me forever to decide which dish to order because they’re all fantastic!!

We love Aie’s! We just finished eating there tonight…again! We don’t get to eat out much anymore, but this place is our fave! The food is always delicious and the band that’s playing tonight is fantastic!

Sad they're not open on Saturday and Sunday because I'm coming to visit family and really miss their food. But these people deserve a 5 star review because in all the years I've come here, I have never been disappointed. Hopefully I can catch them the next time around! Try the Pad Thai stir fry! level 3-5 recommended if you like spice. I will be back! Glad to see you guys are still open!

Stopped in after an 8 hour drive hoping for a couple decent meals. We picked a couple standard Thai dishes. Both meals were extremely good. We liked it better than our favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Fresh, great flavor, clean - left us both very satisfied- not heavy or over salted. The wait staff was also good. The menus had a challenge from the chef to order whatever you wanted (Thai). I’d be surprised if he didn’t blow it away. All orders came with a choice of 0-5 for spicy / heat. We ordered 1 and 2 and it was perfect. Not sure I did this justice, but I highly recommend.

Aie is one hard working lady who puts every ounce of love she has into her cooking, and it shows. This place has pretty much been a part of my family's life for nearly a decade now, and that's exactly what it feels like every time I walk into the door to eat: like coming home.

Bartenderess recommended a great menu choice, and got to try some beers I'd never had before. Definitely recommend 👍

OJ and her team always goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of. Order the Cook Me Whatever it’s always so good!! We are fortunate to have Aies in Meridian!!

The shrimp pad kee mow is always THE BEST! Plus the fried dumplings are the perfect yummy appetizer. Love this place so much.
