Fantastic overall experience! The food was delicious!! Ashley was so sweet and took excellent care of us. We are not local, but next time when we are in the area, we will definitely be stopping by again.

We were coming through Meridian headed home from vacation and googled to find restaurants for dinner. The reviews for Amore were great and they mentioned the nice atmosphere. We love Italian food, so we stopped and gave it a try. My husband had the Scaparelli with veal and I had the Murphy with chicken. Our waitress, Ashley, recommended both dishes and suggested penne with both. They were both outstanding, as well as the rolls, which are made in house. We had the Limoncello cake for dessert and it was delicious. We will definitely eat here again when in the area. Authentic, delicious food and a historic home atmosphere as well as a friendly and knowledgeable staff made our experience here wonderful. They also have a large front porch with outdoor seating. 5 stars for sure !!

My business partner and I were only in Meridian for a quick business trip but we were so glad we found this gem. Atmosphere was so nice, relaxed and homie. The food was amazing and the service matched. Thanks to the ladies with the smiling faces and kudos to the chef!

I recommend this place to anyone. Stop in and try the Tour of Italy in order to get a little bit of 3 dishes!

My server Val was so attentive that I thought she was the hostess! Such a gentle and kind soul! Food was fantastic (add your own salt.. the entire state of MS is cutting back 😂) clean, great view of sunset, lounge upstairs…intimate dinner area downstairs and outside…

I was passing through and got a hotel near the highway. I checked restaurants near me in Google map. I really didn’t want fast food or a chain. I found this restaurant and the woman at the front desk of the hotel said the food was great.

I chose to sit on the large, wrap around front porch. It was just about sunset, there was a slightly cool breeze and the car traffic was very mild and not intrusive.

The staff was amazing from the first moment to the last. Very accommodating and attentive.

The hot rolls came out first. They were INCREDIBLE!! I ordered salmon and it was very nice.

Our experience was great. Food was delicious. Fresh salad, warm gooey cheese bread and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees, the Alfredo and Marinara sauces were both delicious. I personally ate a pizza and the dough was fresh and had a nice chewy bite. The building is an old historic home and offers lots of charm. If you are in the area I definitely suggest stopping in. Next time I will be trying desserts!

A delightful dining experience. The meatballs were moist and very tender in a tangy sauce. The shrimp Alfredo and chicken Alfredo were quite tasty. The veal parm was tender and had great flavor as did the veal marsala. Our server Priscilla was very nice and checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a great place to eat!

I must say this is the best Italian I have ever had. We had the calamari and cheese garlic bread. The best calamari ever! For entrée we had pasta trio, shrimp Alfredo and shrimp marinara. We will be back very soon for more. I don't know how we haven't seen this place till now. Leo ,the owner is so kind and friendly. True authentic Italian food.

Their staff may not be so friendly but they are responsive and attentive. The location is easy to find. The place has a beautiful ambience with lots of seating capacity. The foods were flavorful and delicious. The calamari that we ordered was cook just right, it was the best calamari we have in town. The seafood combo is really great in terms of flavor, quantity and price. I highly recommend this place.

Went for lunch here today. My 2nd Time here. Greeted immediately by the hostess and seated. Excellent service! Friendly and highly courteous! The meal was flawless! This place is a gem! If you’re out riding in the area, I highly recommend this establishment👍

Though the Chicken Parm isn't what it once was this is one of the best italian restaurants I've ever been to. Great amaretto sour! Everything else is of great quality.

So I decided to give Amore Italian Ristorante a try, after a friend suggested it and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful didn’t need any additional seasoning and that cream sauce was delicious. I had Meatballs "Polpette" with Marinara for my appetizer. For my main course I had Frutti di Mare which was shrimp, chopped clams, calamari, and scallops sautéed in a white wine cream sauce served over angel hair pasta. For dessert I went with Tiramisu which was lady finger cookies soaked in coffee liqueur with a mascarpone cream filling topped with cocoa and a chocolate drizzle. I would definitely recommend giving them a try when you’re in the area!

Its a beautiful old building. Friendly staff and I must say im not the biggest fan of Italian. The food here was just so good though. I finished everything. The food had such an amazing flavor. Cooked with passion and well worth stopping and trying. Worth every penny.

This is a gem of a place! They have turned a historic Victorian home into an Italian Restaurant with a bar on the 2nd floor. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect.

I don't know the history of the place but it is located in an old house in downtown Meridian. The service and food for excellent!

Not only is Amore absolutely delicious, but it is such a historical building. I got the Spaghetti with meat sauce and I have to say, this is the BEST restaurant spaghetti that I have EVER had. It has every flavor aspect and lets talk about those rolls! So so so delicious. I got the Lemon Mascarpone Cake and while I haven't dug in yet, if it is anything like the rest of their food, it has to be amazing! 100/10 recommend to every single person!

Awesome restaurant! The melt in your mouth yeast garlic parm rolls and sweet tea hit the spot. Food is delicious and service is wonderful!

My husband and I were in Meridian MS for a doctor appointment and we wanted some thing we had not had in long time so we found this place. He had the veal cutlets and I had the eggplant Parmesan. We had a wonderful waitress named Ashley
(not sure if that is the correct spelling of her name). The veal melted in your mouth and the eggplant was so tender you could cut it with your fork. We didn't feel hurried to eat our dinner. We were greeted with a smile and the atmosphere was very comfortable.
We will be returning to test other dishes.
