FANTASTIC!! me and my partner decided to try something new today and we were NOT disappointed!!! delicious food that felt like a home cooked meal, tasty smoothies, and everyone there was super friendly, very lovely people!!! i got the stew chicken and a strawberry/blueberry smoothie, absolutely delicious!!! would recommend this for anyone getting tired of the routine food court offerings, and looking for a hearty meal!!

HUGE empanadas. Portions are HEALTHY. It’s like they say, you tryna eat like a king and be treated like one, find a Haitian home to eat at. My Zoe’s are in Texas and CT and I was missing the vibes so I stopped by this kitchen. What they say is true get you some good customer service and healthy portions. Amazing taste and quality is awesome!

Tucked away in the mall food court, it's a small place with big flavors. They love to welcome their place as "home" and to get comfortable. Ordered the empanadas dominicana, haitian legumes, a coffee, and the green day juice today (spent around $40ish total today), but had stopped by for a mango smoothie a few days ago for the first time as well and had to come back to check out the food.

Food:

Haitian legumes dish came with rice and fried plantains. It's cooked in beef and the chunks of meat were so tender. I may need to come back just to have this dish again. Rice was cooked right and the plantains were nice and crunchy but soft on the inside without being mushy. Good portion too, so I had enough to take home to eat for dinner.

As for the empanada, the one I had a good crunchy outside and a tasty filling, but the filling wasn't proportional to the size of the empanadas (since I had to get a fork to keep pulling the filling forward). So that was a bit of a disappointment after reading such good reviews about it. I had to bite off a few filling-less bites before I got to really enjoy it. If only there was less empanada dough or more filling comparable to the big size of the dough, it just kind of left something to be desired even though it was tasty.

Drinks:

The smoothies/juice were both amazing and my bf will probably be back to get some more again soon even though we're only in town for a few more days, haha. Black coffee was straightforward and I drank it all, haha.

Atmosphere/Service:

I loved how welcoming the staff was. Pretty sure I met the owner the first time and he let me try the juices before purchasing as well. Today, everyone said hi and bye. Just a solid place and happy I got to experience it.

Nicest people ever! Their friendliness and the atmosphere cannot be beaten. Although the food can be pricey it is totally worth the price for both the food and experience. I suggest the empanadas.

Wonderful food and we'll definitely return. They also sell Dominican coffee and other items.

Absolutely DELICIOUS beef empanada! This is a quick review, I cant wait to go back and try some other thing's!
The place was very clean, a little sparse decor, but the food speaks for itself. I was treated very nicely as well, very helpful and friendly lady💓 Glad to see the Mall having places like this rather than the same old chain style for food. Exciting!

First time eating here and the food was the best I've had in a long time I'm from Miami and had a load drop in Maryland and decided to grad some food it didn't disappoint 😋 I highly recommended this place

We had an amazing visit. We were greeted right away and got some samples of the smoothies. We ordered a mocha frap, he added fresh strawberries to it and it was amazing! He was so friendly and treated us like family. Best service ever. We've had problems getting goat, they actually had it and it was so tender and perfectly spiced. He said they get it from a local goat farmer. I had the chicken empanada, it was definitely homemade and do flaky. 2 thumbs up!

I stopped by this place to get a coffee and snack while shopping. Yum! The service was friendly and quick. The coffee was very flavorful and the empanada was hot & DELICIOUS! Check it out if you’re nearby.

My mocha was great! They had almond milk for my wife. The kids got fruit smoothies with freshly cut fruit. They loves them. We got a little food to snack on and was delicious! The people working here are super friendly. I love this place. Will definitely be back.

I tried my first TooGoodToGo order here today. The cafe is very clean and bright (it's in the Mall food court but has its own seating). The lady and gentleman on staff were very professional and friendly. I had the chicken, white rice, cabbage plitz and fried plantains. It was delicious! Not the place to go if you are in a hurry but well worth the wait. I'll definitely be using the TooGoodToGo special here again. 5 stars!

I ordered fried beef, with beans and rice with coleslaw and fresh made juice and it was outstanding so good. Will definitely be back as a customer. Also forgot to add that I was completely full after eating this.

Super fresh and very yummy. I normally dislike mango, but the mango they had was super fresh and sweet, unlike I've had before. He even cut a a fresh piece to eat while working on our smoothie. I wish they had a bit more of a physical menu to look at, that's been the biggest reason we have just walked by before without coming in, but they had samples they were passing out yesterday and decided to order that (the mango strawberry smoothie).

I love their atmosphere. It is very relaxing to the point that it helped my baby daughter to calm down from a fit she was having before we got there. I would definitely recommend if you're wanting a chill atmosphere with quality staff and good menu.

Stopped by for coffee and a snack, staff was super friendly and a meat filled pastry in the window, food was great, the Dominican frappucinno was the perfect amount of sweet and looked beautiful. The staff was super friendly and interactive, I really hope these people attract more customers. It doesn't feel commercialized like most places at this mall, and feels more like being greeted into someone else's home.

So I work at the valley mall and on my lunch break, I go there for the chicken empanadas and Frappuccino. And they fail to be delicious at all. I love the energy I get from there. I would definitely recommend going there atleast once because they do have really good food.

I've been all over the country eating foods from many different places and this is the only place I have ever truly believed to be perfect. The food is phenomenal and the service is amazing!

My parter & I arrived shortly after open & the gentleman who getting things set up greeted us with a huge smile & said "I just finished your empinadas!" We had never been there before and weren't sure what we wanted but replied "Perfect!" We just had the most amazing chicken empinadas ever. In the mall.
