Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Meridian

This was truly a hidden gem!! Customer service was outstanding from booking the room earlier in the week to checking out!! Would highly recommend!!

The rooms are okay, but the front desk people are so good. There is a water leakage near at front desk, it’s the only one that has a negative impact. Other than that everything is good.

What a wonderful respite. Driving from Texas to Tennessee. Yesterday evening was very treacherous in the storms. Coming from a sad situation, pain of losing my sister of 61 years to cancer, I found great relief with this Fairfield Inn. I was greeted last evening, by a wonderful reception by the attending front desk gentleman. It was a big welcome and then came into a very quiet and comfortable room and hot shower. I’ve been staying at Marriott 25 years and it’s always so awesome to know I can depend on great service, a wonderful bed, clean quiet room for needed sleep during a very excruciating time in my life.

Very nice room. Loved the neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby. With the hotel off the main road, I felt safe leaving my vehicle.

Location was great, convenient access from the highway to continue to our destination. Ordered delivery for everyone which was great and added to the relaxing evening shared between 2 great rooms just across the hall from each other. It would have been nice if the pool wasn’t down for maintenance but it was a short stay of just one night. Breakfast was good, with a healthy variety of options for all ages. The prepackaged waffles were a hit with everyone.

Location was great not far from the highway to continue to our destination. It was close to places to eat and gas stations. The hotel was pretty clean. Some stains on the carpet. I would have liked the pool to be open earlier because my son was up early and we could have used the pool then. Food selection was ok. I wish there was a waffle iron to make your own. The prepackaged waffles were too sugary.

Staff was nice. Breakfast was standard like all other Fairfield. Room was clean but needing some repairs.

Amazing stay! Great & professional staff. The lady working the breakfast was amazing also! She was so sweet to my daughter. Felt like family! Went to Americas Best Value inn on the other side of town. Crack motel that should be shut down! Had to leave because it was unsafe! Went to Fairfield & was worth every penny more than the other one! Stay at Fairfield if you are in Meridian, Ms!!

Not enough parking spots are available for all guests. You have to park on the side street most times. Staff members were very polite, and the hotel was very nice. If you're a Marriott Bonvoy member, make sure you call the Bonvoy member customer service line to make your reservations if you're using your points.

Seemed pricey, but the room was clean, nice staff, gym, pool (too cold for the kids), and a good, hot breakfast.

It was a weird night but the accommodations were nice. We stopped at multiple places and they claimed to have no rooms. This place had only kings for a ridiculous amount. Fortunately, I was able to book online for half the price.

Very nice, everything you would expect from a Marriott site. Nice rooms, well decorated and clean. No pushy housekeeping staff waking you up early so we were able to rest. The front desk people were both courteous and helpful. They are having grab and go breakfast during the pandemic.

Stayed here Thanksgiving day returning from Tennessee to Texas on a long road trip. The hotel was nice and clean and served breakfast, the staff was very nice ...we had to use the breakfast tables to make some sandwiches as everything was closed on Thanksgiving day but they were nice enough to offer us plates though we did not need. The location is nice off the highway but not too much road noise at all.

This hotel is the best place in Meridian that we have stayed and enjoyed ourselves. The staff and everyone just rolled out the red carpet for us! We were just so amazed at the hospitality! We will certainly be coming back when we are in the USA (Meridian)! Thank you for everything and God bless you all! Ray & Rosa

The tv remote system here should be a brand standard across the board (scan QR code with phone and select channels on phone). First time I’ve used this and it was waaaaayyy better than using any sort of channel guide on the remote.

Breakfast was decent, egg quiche and breakfast sandwiches! Just wish there was a starch option as well.

Full water pressure in the room.

Overall a great one night stay.

Clean rooms, glad to see breakfast is back after last year's covid restrictions. The receptionist was welcoming and kind greeted us with a smile, after a long trip some positive attitude is always a plus, I certainly have had some bad experiences in other hotels. They have an option on their tvs were you can use your phone to control what you wish to watch, I thought that was pretty neat.

I stayed here a couple nights for a funeral in Cuba, AL and I can not express enough how friendly and helpful the staff was at this hotel. The amenities are amazing for the price of the room including a fairly extensive breakfast and INDOOR heated saltwater pool. The rooms are very modern and clean. At one point I commented that I felt like I was the first guest to ever stay in that room as nothing looked broken, poorly repaired or worn out. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens felt of a good quality. I would highly recommend this hotel and I don't know that you could beat the value for a good room. If I'm in the area again, this will be my first choice!

Extremely clean and comfortable stay! Hotel staff were all kind and welcoming. The complimentary hot breakfast included biscuits, waffles, fresh fruit and coffee. Conveniently located just off I-20. The pool and fitness center are very adequate if you have time for a little exercise on your trip. Wonderful stay with a family.

Top-notch hotel! Rooms were spotless. Beds were super comfortable. Best part, though, was the staff. Through some technical error our reservation had gotten cancelled. But the guy at the front desk, Jakiri (hope I got his name right) got on the phone and had the problem fixed in no time at all. As some one else commented, the breakfast was way beyond expectations. And the "breakfast lady" was super-friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again on our way to Shreveport.

Very pleased with my stay. Perfect example of how a good hotel should be!! The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impressive. The professionalism from the staff was phenomenal. Kudos to both Jeffrey and Von for being so accommodating and making each guest feel appreciated. Would definitely stay there again!
