I really like this place. So glad we found it. It seems like a place you'd go to in a younger town. It seems they have everything perfect. Food, service and atmosphere are amazing. I highly recommend this place. I'm glad we checked out a little late at the motel so we could make it here on a Sunday a little after 10am when they opened. Lovely Cafe.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner with our two dogs. There was a bit of a wait to get a table because they had just received two large parties, but it's within an artist village that's nice to walk around. The service was excellent our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. If I'm in the area I'll definitely stop in again.

Hidden Jem.
I visited this cafe twice once in fall and second in snow.
I love the location, it's like in the middle of mountain and right near to Casselman river, surrounded by natural beauty.
I am vegetarian so no idea about meat here I tried mushroom fry and coffee loved it.
Staff is very friendly.
If you are in Pittsburgh and you are looking for a nice drive and coffee you should visit this place.
Take a stroll on Casselman bridge and just walk around the area.

The cafe is super cute, it’s a joy to just hang out here and it has equally good menu and service as well! Everybody (employees and customers) were super nice when me and my 2 year old were hanging out here for a few hours on our way from tNJ to WV! I wish this place was closer to me, I’d be here all the time! I had grapefruit and goat cheese salad - to die for and a flight of tacos - yummy!!!

This place is unbelievable. The ambiance is spectacular, they paid attention to every detail. Almost all the menu items were unique! I had the Mason Dixon Benedict. Sunny side egg on top of house made sausage over a biscuit, with sausage gravy that tasted homemade. Friendly staff, will come back ASAP!

We had a lovely lunch at this cafe. We appreciated being able to use the EV charger for our vehicle. There are 2 EV chargers on the right side of the building, one for Tesla’s and one universal.
The atmosphere was so peaceful and I enjoyed the wine flight.
Only caution is that if you prefer your food to be plain, there aren’t many options so check the menu before you come. The food was very tasty but all the selections were fancy.

Cute little place with homey, small-town USA vibes and rustic decorations. Lunch menu had a wide variety of salads and sandwiches, all of which sounded delicious. Drink options included soft drinks, draft beer, kombucha in a can, signature seasonal cocktails, and a full coffee / espresso bar. Indoor and outdoor seating available, and other cute local shops nearby to wander through as your delicious meal digests.

The food & atmosphere provide for a memorable experience. The staff was sufficient, no long waits. The prices seemed good for my overall experience. I definitely recommend if you are in the area or want a drive to destination.

Decided to take the back roads home from Pittsburgh and found this little gem in Grantsville, MD. Don't forget to shop next door first to get 10% off your meal.

This quiet little river side cafe is amazing. Tucked behind Penn Alps, this quaint little Cafe/Bar has a wonderful selection of wines, pastas, salads, seafood and steak. With an appearing to regularly rotated menu to keep things fresh.

I personally had the Crab Dip, firstly actual crab not Krab. It was creamy hot all the way to the last bite served with toasted bread slices for dipping.

The White wine I chose as my pairing was very crisp and fruity appropriate for the spring.

I enjoyed my whole meal by the window enjoying the freak spring hail and lovely Castleman river view as I was consistently checked on by my waiter Hunter making rest assured I enjoyed my time and didn't need anything else.

A very homely cafe..
The staff is friendly and their recommendations are good. We tried the avocado toast, the Panini and the wrap. Everything was cooked perfectly and well served.
Could be a little pricy for a cafe but the food and view makes it worth. Portions are decent and the location is very much accessible. Worth a visit definitely.

The food is absolutely amazing!!!! Well worth the wait. Our server was very attentive despite being short staffed the day we visited. He made sure everyone was taken care of. He was excellent! The Lump crab flatbread and the Avocado Bacon Panini were incredibly delicious. The flavor profile of each was unique and well balanced. Highly recommend stopping by to visit when you’re in Grantsville MD.

Great service. The dinner portions are perfectly sized so you eat enough but don’t feel stuffed afterward. Plenty of space so it wasn’t crowded when we were there. With plenty of patio space to eat outside it makes it a great place to chill when the weather is good. In the back yard you can see the river. They also have Tesla and other electric car charging stations.

Great food, atmosphere and view of the Casselman river. Very peaceful place. Love the “barn” decor. Most of all, everything I’ve had to eat was amazing! Now you can get beer and champagne flights! Yay!

A gem of the Maryland Mountains. My family and I visited for a late lunch. Our waitress took wonderful care of us. The Asagio cheese dip started our meal, which was universally loved. There was a very creative menu that delighted both meat eaters and our vegetarians. I have to say I don't like tomatoes soup, but I tried some of my son's and I thought it tasted incredible. The pumpkin waffle chicken wrap was an unexpected delight. There were two options for dessert; a really creamy pumpkin cheesecake and a brownie ala mode that had a flavor with a hint of coffee. We can't wait to get out there again.

This place is amazing. So many things on the menu looked amazing we had a hard time choosing what to order! The sandwich we got was incredible, drinks were great, and the service was friendly and attentive.

There are several little cute shops here as well, and of course the Penn Alps artisan village. I'd definitely suggest talking time to walk around and check it out.

We stopped here for lunch on the way home to DC, and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely delightful! The meal was amazing. A fresh garden pasta bowl that filled me up. A bluegrass band was playing nearby which made a perfect environment to relax after a hard day. The manager was over the top helpful. It was a perfect ending to a stressful day!
