Potato Valley Café

One of the best meals I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time! The owners were extremely friendly and the service was fast and efficient. This might be one of my new favorite spots in Annapolis!

Locally owned too by a wife and husband too! Can’t wait to come back

So somebody said I should check this all potato spot out right. Hmmm potatoes with all kind of toppings got my attention!! Nonetheless…I geared up, headed to Annapolis, & WENT IT!!

Their Chicken Bacon, and Cheddar (with butter, greens, & roasted onions $12.95). STAMP!! A crisp seasoned buttery potato, thick with seasoned chicken, a sharp cheddar, & bacon!! YES!!

Their Beef Chili, Cheddar (with butter, greens, roasted onions, & corn chips $12.95). STAMP!! A mildly spicy meaty chili, melted cheddar, with the burst of that roasted onion!! WINNING!!

Their N.C. Pulled Pork and Cheddar (with greens, roasted onions, mixed greens, & slaw $13.95). STAMP!! The BEST one I had!! The pulled pork reminded me of the pulled pork sandwiches from the Rib Pit on 14th street Uptown back in the day!! EXCELLENT!!

Their Tuna Sandwich (on multigrain, with chips, lettuce, & mayo $8.95). LIKE THAT!! Plentiful, not over saturated with mayo…fulfilling!!

Their Oatmeal Raisin Cookie ($1.85). LIKE THAT!! The perfect sweet fix for all the savory!!

Came in with some colleagues today and we absolutely LOVED it. The customer service was great. The beef chili & cheddar baked potato was amazing. Can't believe this was our first time-- we will definitely be back!

Visited 7 years ago and have always remembered how great it was. My daughter has been asking to come back and this time we are on our way to Philly from NC and specifically came into the adorable downtown area just to eat here again. One of the owners works the register and is so personable and kind (the other builds the potatoes for the orders) AND the potatoes are amazing!!! Will be back again and again and every single time the opportunity arises.

You wouldn't think you would be able to design a varied and exciting menu entirely around baked potatoes, but this place manages to do it. They have a wide variety of toppings in many different styles and cultures, so you can find something unique and good regardless of your preferences. They also have many vegetarian options if that's what you want, and every potato comes with a mini salad on top as well. A fun place to stop if you're by the state capitol!

I thought this was such a unique place to eat. Who would have thought there were so many ways to dress up a baked potato! I got the southwest potato and it was so good! Very filling! They also have free water pitcher with cups, which I thought was a nice touch, instead of charging for a bottle of water. The woman behind counter was very nice. The man not so much. But all in all nice place.

Drove down from Baltimore to visit this place today, and very happy I did. Excellent service and probably the best baked potato I ever had. Mentioned that I came down from Baltimore and the really nice lady up front gave me a few samples of some of the different meat options for a potato. ALL of them were slamming, but ended up gettin the chicken, bacon and cheddar potato. Loaded and seasoned perfectly. Best tasting potato I’ve had. Tried to save some for later and take it home, but ending up finishing that bad boy right there lol. Well worth the ride

I've been here several times over the years when visiting Annapolis and will definitely be going back again. The variety of ingredients they use makes for a wide selection, and the taste and presentation are on point. Great for a healthy and filling meal while walking around downtown without feeling too stuffed!

Potato Valley Cafe offers a warm atmosphere tucked into historic Annapolis State Circle, curated by a delightful couple who navigate the restaurant and its varying customers with grace, ensuring a respectful and efficient experience every time I come in. The additional charm comes from the delightful assistance of the staff who help the couple contribute to the overall positive ambiance. I had the bacon cheddar and it was seriously amazing, I will be coming back regularly to get that and try other stuff as well.

The potatoes were phenomenal. The lady who made our food was so giving. She remade my daughter in laws plate because it was not gluten free and made a little plate for the grandbaby

On point everytime we order! (Chicken bacon & cheddar potato and NC pulled pork & cheddar potato-both with all the fixin's) so so good, always fresh!

Unique restaurant. Potatoes were hot and delicious. Be careful not to burn the top of your mouth diving in to the deliciousness. Sandwiche was meh, the bread wasn't good. But why would you order a sandwich from potato valley?

Such a cute quaint little shop. Excellent customer service. My rustic vegan potato was delicious. Be sure to eat the potato skin- they cook it perfectly crispy & it's so yummy

Thumbs UP! A hundred years ago, when I was 23, I lived around the corner from Potato Valley - I have always loved it & every time I visit Maryland from Colorado, we drive an hour unnecessarily, just to have their incredible potatoes. No exaggeration. That good. There’s so much terrible food in the world, stop those shenanigans & have a truly stellar potato instead.

Okay, first you must know that I NEVER leave Google Reviews. But this place is so delicious, I was inspired to. I go here every time I'm on a work trip in Annapolis. Imagine the biggest, crispiest baked potatoes stuffed with any topping you could imagine. My personal favorite is the Chicken Bacon Cheddar! Goodness gracious, I love this place. GO GO GO!

Glad we found this little gem when we came to Annapolis for the boat show. Amazing food, very tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely return on the next trip to Annapolis.

I never thought I would be raving over a baked potato, but this is absolutely the best baked potato you've ever had. The potato itself is baked with a crispy skin, lots of different kinds of toppings, like bacon, Caribbean or curry chicken, homemade chili, topped with fresh lettuce, mango, and/or other fixings. If you get there early you can score a parking space on State circle. Worth a trip downtown. Interesting photos of Old Sweden decorating the walls.

You've GOT to try Potato Valley! The food was delicious and Ms. Barbara (the owner) was an absolute treat! The Steak and Cheddar Potato was fresh and flavorful. I was sold after my first bite of that crispy, buttery potato skin!!! I'm so glad my sister introduced me to this restaurant today!
