Tru by Hilton Meridian

We were on a long journey so we decided to stop here and take rest. The hotel is pet friendly which is great for us and our pup. I was nervous about it because I’ve never stayed at a Tru hotel before, and some of the reviews were not very nice.
Upon arrival, the grounds were well kept and well lit. The lobby was clean and staff was pleasant. We got into our room which was fine. It was cold which is great because we were able to get to sleep easier. The hotel was clean. There is no carpet in the rooms which makes perfect sense for pet friendly. It smelled fresh- not like pet at all. The beds were overall fairly comfortable.
This is a 3 star hotel. I feel like everything was up to par. The breakfast was also good. I was surprised to find actual hard boiled eggs (not the pre boiled ones most places use) which made me happy. Overall, the place was nice. We would rest here again.

We needed a quick overnight stay, I called and spoke to Shae, WOW, she was absolutely amazing, she was kind, welcoming, helpful, did her job with a smile, beautiful personality and we've never met her! We need more people like Shae in this world, not to mention I spoke to another guest who mentioned Shae's name with a smile, and her confidence in Shae! Hotel was clean, smelled good, room was clean, cool and quiet for the rest we needed! Breakfast was good as well, warm and fresh! Definitely recommend this hotel if you're passing the Meridian, Mississippi!

We stopped with 7 kids/4 Adults after a day of driving. The staff in the lobby were the sweetest and very accommodating. There were lots of games, coloring, etc for the kids to play while we checked in and ordered dinner. The rooms were minimalistic and very clean. It was PERFECT for quick stop on a road trip. The breakfast was good the next morning and the coffee was good quality. Again, the staff was very accommodating and kind in the morning and sent us on our way with extra water for the trip.

Last minute booking as we were traveling through Meridian. The location is very convenient to shops/stores and a wide variety of restaurants.
The rooms are super clean and comfortable.
Checking in on the Hilton app was very easy as was activating the digital room key. The front desk attendant was super friendly and helpful. Many amenities for every need - kids area, work area, pool table, workout room and pool. Very pleased!

Staff was unbelievably nice and friendly. Rooms were well thought out, and the touches in the lobby are great. Just about everything you can ask for at a great price.

If you haven’t stayed at a Tru by Hilton, you’re missing out on a great experience. The lobby is truly open with coffee and areas to sit all night. The market has truly unique items - much different from any other hotel chain.
The rooms are very VERY minimalistic but very clean and uncluttered. The only recommendation there would be placing a lamp on each side of the bed. There are spotlights above the head of the bed, with switches that are out of reach while in bed.
The hallways are fresh and clean.
The coffee was a great roast and breakfast options much superior to other chains.
Hilton should made some of these upgrades to their tired, older hotels.
Great price, great hotel.

This hotel was perfect for a quick over night stay. It was easy to find and very clean.
The rooms are small but we didn't need anything bigger and it felt very comfortable.

The BEST part was the smile and service provided by Shay at the front desk. Her smile and conversation immediately made us feel welcomed and at home.

We're going to be passing through several times a year and will definitely stay here when we do. Thank you Shay, we look forward to seeing your smiling face again!!!

Stayed on a road trip, staff especially Shay was very kind and personable. She was such a sweetheart and made my stay extra enjoyable with her infectious bubbly personality. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

We have traveled from West coast to the East coast and back. We've stayed at hotels along the 40 and back home on 78 and 20. The Tru Hilton in Meridian, Miss. has been our best stay by far!!! Shay is so awesome at ensuring customers feel welcomed and are taken care of. We needed an extra freezer unit due to bringing back food from Philadelphia. She made this possible! I've worked in customer service for 20 years and Shay went above and beyond what we needed.
We will definitely make sure to schedule this hotel again in the near future. VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, A POOL TABLE, SAFE AREA. Everything you need including close by restaurants ie Chili's and Olive Garden. Best stay in all our driving vaca! I especially love how eco friendly this hotel is!!!!

me and my husband traveled from Louisiana and got here at 1 in the morning when I realized I accidentally booked the wrong dates. in my panicked state obviously I was on the verge of tears but the front desk lady working the night shift really helped us out and was able to switch our dates so we had a place to stay! very friendly and helpful :)

Shay was amazing, I called several times on the night of Tuesday April 9th and she put me on hold a couple times I could tell she was having a busy night but she was so sweet and polite and tried and did fix my issue. All the Hilton hotels were sold out in Meridian , when we got to the hotel that night she was still busy I had to wait so she could give me our keys , she was on the phone , taking care of the guests that were on line too and it was amazing she handled it like a pro, Didn't lose her temper , she was caring and everyone loved her. The hotel is great, very super clean, everyone we approached was polite and kind . The property has many different shops and restaurants on a short distance. I will definitely stay here with my family again.

Tru never disappoints. However, their Meridian location was exceptional. The staff goes above and beyond here, extremely friendly, kind and willing to help any way they can. Rooms are modern and clean, a bit on the smaller size but very comfy. Super soft bedding / sheets, clean floors and NO SMOKE smell anywhere.

The hotel was very nice and accommodating! However, the customer service was TOP NOTCH!!!! We got in late at night and Shay was absolutely amazing and so helpful. The morning customer service was also great.

Stayed For two nights with my dog. Had a wonderful experience. Will definitely use Tru by Hilton again.

From the moment I looked at the pictures on line I noted how friendly and bright it was. It was clean! The rooms were comfortable and had everything needed.

I commented as we left that it is a perfect place for a reunion or meeting in the middle to visit with someone. Great patio areas with fresh plants, fire pit. BBQ, pool table, etc. How fun!

I don’t typically leave reviews but Shay took such great care of us for our stay. We were traveling across the country with 2 dogs, which can be stressful. She made our reservation and stay so seamless. Clean rooms and great continental breakfast. Thank you Shay for being amazing!! :)

I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Mobile check in and check out was efficient. The room was just what I needed. Cozy hotel.

I really liked this hotel because it had a minimalist vibe. You never really know how much is in a room until it's not there. I really dug the minimalist feel of the space.

Really enjoyed my stay. Jorden, was the front desk receptionist who took care of me. He was exceedingly kind, polite and professional. I’ve never met a hotel receptionist with such warmth, charisma, and likeability. He engaged very well. I was really impressed by this, as I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I felt this incredibly welcomed and cared for. Needless to say, my main appreciation of staying here, was the great customer service experience I had. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was in a location that felt safe. The only downfall might have been, the room is small, and the TV didn’t work well. Not sure what was going on with the technology of it, or if remote needed new batteries, but both issues were not that big of a deal to me. Pet friendly. Big breakfast spread. Beautiful lobby. Thank you Jorden, for making my stay here a great experience. Would return!

I arrived the day after a tornado hit this city, and power had just been restored to this hotel shortly before I arrived. The front desk staff was phenomenal during the pressure of my check-in with about 30 family members and friends. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The rooms were clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The next morning, the staff member that prepares breakfast was unable to get to work due to the storms in the area. Once again, the phenomenal front desk staff came to the rescue and prepared breakfast for us. And they did it with a great attitude. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area.
