This is a family burial plot belonging to one of the oldest, if not THE oldest lineage of continuous and current residents in ray county. Oldest headstone reads BURIED in 1822. There is no public access as it is a family plot so please do no trespass. If interested seek permission from the Pettus family, and please be respectful as these folks buried here are original settlers to the area and the current family's ancestors.
