O.Henry Hotel

The O.Henry has become one of my favorite hotels of all time. It's inspired and beautiful -- the lobby is stunning but not stuffy. Staff members are helpful and kind (again, no stuffiness). Tea in the lobby was superb -- and I'm picky! (The tea is piping hot and stays hot, the scones are warm and buttery. And it's affordable!) The room is very comfortable, and the bathroom is the BEST hotel bathroom setup of all time. O.Henry, you have my heart.

If you’ve ever thought about staying at the O.Henry, do it! We went for my husbands birthday as a “stay-cation” as we live in Greensboro and it was absolutely worth it. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they were in contact with me several weeks before our stay as we had utilized one of their packages. Room was amazing and we just enjoyed our stay overall. Would love to stay there again sometime in the future.

I stayed here for a recent business trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I'm looking for an opportunity to take my family to the O.Henry! The rooms were clean and spacious, the technology was top tier, and the amenities exceeded all expectations. I was lucky enough to be there for Jazz night which has quite the draw. I had the chance to try the GVG for breakfast, the bar for dessert and night cap, and tapas in the lobby with some colleagues prior to the entertainment -- all of which were incredible. I look forward to another stay soon.

Such an elegant hotel. Went for our 36th anniversary & got one of their packages that included dinner & breakfast in bed - Loved it! The room was beautiful, the food was excellent & the service exemplary. Also got the chance to go to one of their jazz concerts while there. Everything was perfect & I can't wait to visit O. Henry again!

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Our king suite was charming. It had a large enclosed shower and a wonderful tub that my wife truly enjoyed. The staff was warming and welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was delicious! I travel a lot for work and pleasure and this is an outstanding hotel.

When we arrived and after checking in to the hotel. We were approached by Ms. Cassandra Brown. Ms. Brown was very courteous, professional, and helpful. She and the staff made us feel at home. Thank you Ms. Brown for all you do to make sure your guest receives the highest level of service. God bless you.

I visited this establishment to celebrate my dearest niece's birthday with family and friends at an afternoon tea. And what a delightful experience it was! From the gentleman (Mr. Jerry) who greeted us as we entered and our authentic English server (Ms. Abby) we enjoyed 5 star service for the duration of our visit. The finger foods were fresh and delicious. The teas were served hot and fragrant. This wasn't my first time here and it certainly will not be my last.

Best high tea! The ambiance and service is perfect. The bread that the salmon was on was a little odd. The best was the ham Brie sandwich. The scones with butter and lemon curd were outstanding!!! Best scones ever, rivaling the ones we had in London at high tea.
I would love to stay here someday.

I go to the Jazz on Thursday nights and it's always so fulfilling. The jazz ensemble featuring Dave Fox on piano delivers the sounds you didn't know you needed.

Staff and food is terrific and the prices for the apps are not out of line. Ten out of ten recommend for a relaxing night on the town!

No complaints at all. Everything organize for the 100 birthday party for Mrs Greenlee. Everyone very nice. Polite, and courteous, not to forget being helpful. I appreciate the front desk gentleman,for mailing my dress to me I left in my room 615. I called the desk Tuesday 5th, it were delivered on Saturday 8th. I am very thankful. I was invited to a tea party by my oldest daughter and granddaughter Sun at The Henry Hotel. It was such a treat! From the moment we walked in and saw how truly beautiful The Henry Hotel is to all the ladies and a few gentlemen sipping their tea pinkies out lol. Such grandeur. We were served ginger peach hot tea and warm apple cider for the Littles ones. Classical music playing to set the mood just lovely.There were light finger foods to go along with our teas. So old fashion but still very popular. Make your reservation today! It will not disappoint .

If you’re ever in the Greensboro area, treat yourself to a stay at the O. Henry hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The service was impeccable. Enjoy a cocktail and easy banter at their bar area.

Beautiful, spotless, large, friendly traditional hotel with a fantastic restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was attentive, responsive, helpful, well informed, and enthusiastic. The location was convenient to Greensboro and High Point (the furniture outlets and stores). My wife and I stayed 3 nights and it was entirely pleasant.

This place is awesome. I took my wife there for vday and we had a wonderful experience. The staff is extraordinarily kind and very attentive. We were beyond impressed.

The restaraunt is also superb. Our waitress was so kind. I wasn’t feeling well and my meal didn’t agree with me so I was only able to eat a bit and they did not charge me. I did not complain. They just noticed. That is incredibly attentive service. The leek soup however was amazing. My wife really enjoyed her cauliflower steak. We got the room service for lunch and it was delish.

We really enjoyed the Thursday jazz show. It was wonderful and a very cool atmosphere

They went the extra mile on a special request for chocolate strawberries and rose petals. When I ordered it over the phone the woman asked if I wanted champagne, I said no because we’re expecting. She then wrote a nice note congratulating us that my wife and I will keep forever and included it in the surprise!

Anytime I stop in Greensboro I’ll stay there again in a heartbeat

I attended a day-long professional development workshop at the O.Henry. It exceeded my expectations in all respects. The staff is courteous and professional, the food is excellent, and the venue is cozy, clean, and lovely. We had afternoon tea as part of our event, and we had a wonderful time. Well done, O.Henry team!

Stumbled across this hotel while traveling through Greensboro NC for the evening. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The staff was excellent, food was great, and the hotel was full of history and well kept. Jerry gave exceptional service as well as the front desk, but I didn't get her name. Will make plans to return!

Our room was beautiful, comfortable and elegant. There were so many extras that made it special like; Bluetooth speakers, cotton robes. We were originally given the wrong room. They immediately sent someone to help and corrected the mistake and offered a compensation of a dining credit. Everyone was gracious and attentive. O’Henry is a wonderful place to stay!

Extraordinary service! Spacious room & bath with a rubber duck for the tub! Upscale hotel. Nice selection of tea & coffee in the room. Very nice, friendly bar & restaurant, delicious! Classic southern charm & hospitality. I left my glasses in my room after I checked out & was heading out of town. With great care, excellent wrapping, the hotel staff kindly shipped my glasses to my home. That was really going the extra mile! HUGE thanks to a lovely hotel with super service!

Great service; first hotel in my 30 years of traveling that honored my request for hard pillows - very female friendly. Loved that lights dimmed in every room, ice machines w water available in each floor to fill the in room water pitcher. High tea in the afternoons and great jazz on Thursday. Quality of food was excellent.
