The Grill Downtown

Fun place for a late dinner. Not a big selection of food but you can order from 2 different menus (grill or pizza) so something for almost everyone. Great service. My tacos with salmon were very flavorful but a little too salty. Nice warm and inviting atmosphere. Local fave.

First time here. Arrived at 6:45 on a Thursday night. They were not super busy and I sat at bar. Pretty prompt service. I ordered blackened grouper, broccoli, green beans and a Wild Leap IPA... none of them disappointed. In fact the blackened grouper was exceptional to the last bite. I look forward to being in town again and eating here based on this experience. Kyle also did a great job taking care of me.

I ordered the Fried Shrimp Dinner and substituted broccoli for the slaw. I also got a half order of the Greek salad. The shrimp were cooked to perfection! The breading was light & crispy & the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Best shrimp I have eaten in years. The rest of the meal was very good. I would definitely order this again. We also had their Sangria which was delicious! Can’t wait to come back.

Thursday night 2/22/2024 with 4 people. Seated on arrival and service was great. Emma did a great job. Food was good. Pineapple upside down cake was HUGE. It feeds the whole table...

What a great find I enjoyed myself last night. The pizza was fantastic and the atmosphere was very jovial. Lisa is a great DJ and handled the music trivia night extremely well.

Amazing service from Spencer and Emma. Highly recommend them to serve you and your families when eating here. Absolutely loved everything and the atmosphere. Thank you so much and keep up the good work !

The staff up front were awesome and took my order quickly. The fried pickles I ordered were the best I ever had!!!!!!!!!! Will definitely be back to this place !!!!!!!! The cook seems to take pride in his/her job and that says alot about the place. My waitress Brittany was so sweet made me feel like I was at home. And I'm sure she needs a raise and so dose the Fri cook. They did an outstanding job.

First time at your restaurant to meet a friend for dinner. Well worth the drive from Alabama. Food and service was great. Love the venue!

Excellent food. Great job of remodeling an older building in Downtown Bremen. The Saturday night we dined in, The Grill at 222 had live music, the young man was great. The Braves were on 1 large screen tv & Nascar was playing on another, both muted, of course. The staff worked as one and our good was delicious.

I asked a couple of ladies at the local Chamber of Commerce, "Where do the locals eat around here?" and The Grill @ 222 was right there on their list of options. If anyone knows where the locals eat, it's the Chamber of Commerce. It was great. Cant wait to try their other recommendations while I'm here.

Ordered, honey glazed salmon entre. Being a cook myself I know how difficult it is the cook an 8oz piece of salmon. They hit it out of the park, flakey and moist to the last bite. Portions were reasonable yet filling. Service and atmosphere was as good as the food. Looking to try the shrimp next time we go!

We recently just moved to Bremen, and we were looking for some place local that we can start visiting, and boy did we find that place! Everything about The Grill Downtown was fantastic!

We sat at the bar, and the young woman serving us was amazing. She made great drinks, and when it came time to order food she made the perfect suggestions. The food was superb, and we definitely over ordered, but the food was great even as leftovers!

I look forward to going back for years to come!

This place has a fantastic bar -- and great bartenders. Food is very good. Nice atmosphere. Can get crowded, but worth the wait if you have one.

A nice upscale atmosphere. The staff was awesome, attentive and knowledgeable. I had blackened grouper and it was very good and cooked to perfection. There is a good selection of craft beers and the wine offerings are good according to the lady I was talking to. I really enjoyed my experience.
