Kosta's Fireside Restaurant & Pancake Inn

This place is excellent. We go every fall. The Service is exceptional. The staff and cooks are amazing. Food is yummy and coffee is hot and fresh.
Can't wait to return.
Note they are closed on Wednesdays.

Kosta’s is a favorite stop for travelers and locals alike. I will have say I see why. They are quite busy but worth the wait. We are not usually breakfast people but Kosta’s filled us up for the day. If you’re in the area I would recommend giving them a try! Get a pancake regardless of what you order!

A cozy down home family restaurant style experience with all of the breakfast classics done right for a great price.
Friendly and attentive servers.

This place was GREAT!! The food was excellent and the service; what you would expect from total southern hospitality. Huge potions, the biscuits and breads made there at the restaurant. Oh and you have to get at least one pancake, even if you’re having lunch. The corned beef hash, some of the best I’ve ever had. Steak and eggs were great and the biscuits and gravy like grandma made (if you grew up in rial Carolinas). A great breakfast place!!!! The lunches looked good too. I wish I had room for their pot roast it looked soooo goood.

Stopped in for breakfast during our travels and what a great stop. Service was very fast and friendly. Veggie breakfast omelette with home fries was $11.50, but it was excellent.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Nice local spot. Server was an older woman who was very sweet and has probably been doing this a long time. Great recommendations and very attentive. Food was wonderful, classic small diner grub!

Delicious food and very fast but friendly service. Absolutely fantastic French toast. Decently large portions at a very good price. I can't stress enough extremely fast service even when they were extremely busy. We were sat in the "patio" and it was non-artistically rustic, hopefully they are mid update.

When I'm craving waffles, this is the place to go. I love the homemade sourdough bread and knowing my server’s name, and if I need anything, they have a great system to take the guesswork out of taking care of your needs.

Excellent food and service. I had a western omelet with home fries and my wife had the fireside breakfast. We both enjoyed every bite. We also purchased a loaf of white and cinnamon rasin breads. Both are outstanding. We will definitely pay them a return visit when we get back to Hendersonville, NC.

Love this place. Breakfast is always great. The food could have been a little hotter, but otherwise it was good. We also bought a couple of loaves of bread to take home. Their homemade bread makes the best toast.

AWESOME BREAKFAST! Visited Kosta's while traveling through the area. Family owned and highly recommended by locals. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We would go out of our way to eat here again!

The food was very tasty and enjoyable. I had the strawberries pancakes which was delicious. My husband had fried eggs and country ham which he loved very much. The place was very comfortable and cozy too. The service was very good too.

I have been to Kosta's Fireside Restaurant & Pancake Inn several times and have had positive experiences each time. The food has always been tasty, the quantities good, and great service. Each time I have been there, the place has been packed, the parking lot full. The staff has not only been able to keep up, they took excellent care of us. Based on my positive experiences, I will be back, and I highly recommend.

Service.
First things first, wonderful service. Madison was an excellent server. She constantly checked up on us and made sure everything was to our liking.

Food.
The food was delicious. I had the Ribeye Breakfast with hash browns supreme and scrambled eggs. The ribeye was a thin piece of meat (perfect size to start the day,) and it was well seasoned. Hash browns were cheesey and crispy. They had pieces of ham and onion within it which gave a nice flavor to the hash. The eggs were cooked perfectly and well seasoned as well. my whole family throughly enjoyed the meal.

We will be coming back before we leave NC to experience this wonderful restaurant once more.

Nice, cozy family style restaurant. Brunch was delicious. I’d go back for the biscuits and gravy! It looks like in the warmer months the outdoor seating area would be a fun place to gather.

The food is excellent. The staff is very kind. The facilities are clean and inviting. We missed our exit for the other restaurant and found this gem.

Excellent experience. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff very friendly and responsive, and the food amazing. My partner had breakfast- raved about the pancakes. I had pot roast - sooooo good. The coleslaw was recommended by our server as another side and it was very tasty. We were vacationing in the area but if we ever return we will be very likely to visit again.
