Star Shoes

My hubby and I visited this store for the first time after Christmas 2015. No longer able to wear shoes "as they come," I was pleased that the staff takes quite a bit of time with each customer to insure that we get the help and kind of shoes we need. We waited longer than 30 minutes because the staff was helping others ahead of us.

If you're impatient or looking for the latest fad, don't bother going to Star Shoes--their shoes are for those of us with foot pain or conditions. I will add that their shoes are nice, however. The gentleman who helped me took over an hour with me, assessing my feet, explaining what I needed, fitting me with proper athletic shoes. I had brought in a pair of dress shoes bought elsewhere that didn't fit in the heel and lacked enough arch support, and he modified them while I waited, for a small fee since I didn't purchase them there. I also ordered a pair of dress shoes and will return for a fitting when they come in. There is no charge for modifications if the shoes were purchased there.

All in all, I recommend Star Shoes if you have foot problems and/or foot pain. They will make their shoes fit for your satisfaction and comfort.

This is an excellent shoe store if you have problems with ur feet or not. I do. The Owner took care of me. Helped me select the right shoe for my feet issues. I recommend Star Shoes to anyone!! Great customer service & will assist you with ur needs.

The owner of the shop adjusted the shoes we bought to help the gait and pronation of my 5 year old’s foot. What I thought was going to be 10 minutes turned into 40 because he wanted to make sure his shoes were correct. I appreciate the quality of service provided to my child today. We don’t have that anymore at many many places!!!

I am extremely pleased with the service here. I have had the shoes they sold me adjusted by them so that the fit is perfect for several years. They want to save you money.

Don and staff are extraordinary experts for fitting shoes properly and making any and all adjustments necessary for comfort and health. We trust this shop so much that we dedicate the time to visit from out-of-state.

Don Rogers is an experienced Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Footwear; you will not ever meet another man of his calibre and wisdom in this field.
