Tomoka was easily one of my favorite state parks if ever visited, im from Michigan. We did have to pay $5 to get in but its very clean, quiet and I'm honestly shocked there weren't many people there. We saw a few tortoises, and two manatees while walking the trail. The trail is wide, and the beauty is unmatched. I'm not sure if they offer much to do recreational activity wise, but it's perfect for a walk.

Beautiful campground with spacious camping spots. Lots of bank or boat fishing all around the campground. Good sized bath houses with washers and dryer.

Excellent camp store, try the taffy. Nice hiking trails. The campsite we had was not very level, but we made it work and that would be my only complaint. The campground was nice and quiet, site was shaded, bathhouse was clean. Nice hiking trails and interesting history, water is beautiful with plenty of fishing spots and picnic tables to enjoy.

This is a great campground, with 90+ nice camping spots that are heavily wooded with lush palm trees that give each spot really nice privacy. Some spots can accommodate RVs with power and water hookups. Others are for tents. There's also a group camping area for youth groups or Boy Scouts. There are multiple shower/ restroom/ laundry facility buildings, and several handicap accessible camping spots nearby with paved access from the camping spot to the building.

There are 2 buildings that can be rented for events and a group picnic pavilion with a group fire pit with grilling grates.

The park is great. It has lots of water surrounding it, so people bring kayaks, canoes, and fishing gear.

Clean state park. Lovely camp store by beautiful river, pleasant employees, camp host even helped us back in our rig. We had lovely paved site handicapped accessible. Most are gravel but still nice with grill and fire pit. Clean bath houses, rest rooms and laundry area nice and clean. The loop getting into campsite is a little tight but doable. Look forward to camping here again.

Clean, nice that dogs are allowed. Mindful of leash law and pick up poop. Restrooms and showers clean, hot water is great, good area for hiking. Keep in mind that Tues and Wed the ruins of plantation are closed those days.

Camped for two days. Great place for beginners and glampers. Restrooms, showers, laundry facility. Outpost sells supplies and snacks. Electricity and water supply at each camp site. Rent a cabin or raked lot for RV/tent. Nice fishing spots up and down the Halifax. Great crabbing too. Please be responsible. Tag your cages, toss back under size limits, clean up after yourself, and don’t feed the RACCOONS!

Such a beautiful well kept campground! I love how you seem kind of secluded at most of the sites. We came in July and it was hot but not terrible because most of the sites have plenty of shade. The outpost on the river is a great place to watch the sunset.

Great park
Most sites are full shade. Very private sites. Kayak rentals at Outpost. Trails all over. Just 6 miles to beach Atlantic Ocean. Ormond Beach has lots of great Restaurants only 5 miles away. We are here for 5 days. No mosquitoes, but we have Therm Cell which keeps them away from our outside area if needed. Overall very relaxing and beautiful.

THE CAMPING GROUND WAS CLEAN.
THERE WERE SHOWERS INSIDE THE RESTROOMS.
IF YOU GO THERE, MAKE SURE THAT YOU VISIT THE OUTPOST ...( FOR SOUVENIRS)
DEFINITELY A NICE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOGS.

Cute and cozy. Very scenic. Deer, water views, and the campground site has a lot of privacy. Super friendly staff at the gift shop. Drank a Tomoka EPA beer here, and watched the water view from inside the store/lodge. The weather was cold and overcast but having a place like this in the campgrounds made for a nice laid back afternoon.

Big park. Small campsites. Good boat ramp. Lots of little places to launch kayaks. All roads in park are sand. You will get lots of sand in your tent or RV.
