Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greensboro-East, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. It had the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. They served 2 different typed of sausage, egg omelets, cinnamon rolls, gluten-free muffins, and quality Greek yogurt plus MORE!

Great stay! This was first time staying at this hotel and I enjoyed it. The king suite was very spacious and I was so happy it came with a cute little kitchen area. The room was clean and you can tell they updated it and it looks nice. Although, I spent only one night I enjoyed my time there and I hope to come back again.

We had a relaxing and comfortable two night stay here. Check in was fast and easy. We stayed in a king room. The room was just cleaned when we arrived. It’s spacious, no odors, 2nd floor facing front.

There’s plenty of horizontal space to put out our bags and stuff. A nice size closet with adequate hangers, ironing board and safe.There’s a little nook with a microwave, small fridge and Keurig coffeemaker. Roll down shades on the windows to block out sunlight and for night use. AC unit was by the window and wasn’t noisy. Also convenient hooks to hang stuff. And plenty of USB ports and plugs by the bed and on the desk for charging devices.

Bed had soft clean sheets, and was comfortable and firm. Bathroom was large, clean, with good water pressure. Tub shower had body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. There were no dispensers on the vanity but bar soap and makeup wipes were available. There was no body lotion. There was enough towels, hand towels and wash cloths for the two of us.

Breakfast is from 6-10am. Nice size seating area. The tv was on but not loud. There’s a large selection of hot food with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy as well as pancakes. There’s also cereals, pastries, breads, oatmeal, fruit, and a really good coffee, and hot chocolate selection.

Hotel isn’t really near restaurants or shopping so there’s a table set up near check in with information about places to eat, order food, shop or visit. The hotel is around 6 min from downtown Greensboro where we went and found a nice gastropub to eat.

Every staff member we encountered - from the front desk, the maintenance staff, housekeeping and breakfast staff - was warm, polite and professional. Really, the most hospitable people I’ve ever encountered work here.

Overall, we loved our short stay here. We’re new to staying at Holiday Inns and IHG so we weren’t sure what to expect. This hotel definitely makes a good lasting impression. We intend to stay again when in the Greensboro area.

Would definitely stay again! The staff was Amazing!! Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had an issue with our refrigerator not working properly and it was exchanged for a different one quickly. The breakfast buffet had many choices and everything we had was hot and fresh! The kids enjoyed the pool area which was nice and clean. We liked the location of the area, restaurants and shopping are close just not within walking distance. Loved Barber Park and Gateway Gardens which are less than a mile down the road!!

Neet, clean wonderfull room on 3rd floor.

Bring your own knife, spoon and fork for the basic kitchenette.

To management:
In generall on all hotels, I hope the plastic age after Covid on plastic plates and breakfast gear will run out. Not only from a green perspective.

Nice clean rooms. Looks like they're still in the process of updating a few things. Nothing major. Breakfast was great! One of the best ones I've had from any IHG hotel. Staff was very friendly. Not too much around. Most restaurants are 7 miles away. Still not bad. Made for a peaceful night.

I wasn't expecting much for the price considering what I've dealt with in the past. This place exceeded my expectations. It was clean and quiet. I actually felt the need to whisper in my own room for fear of being the loud person! The staff was extremely helpful. I was able to call and let them know about my late arrival. They also have a full hot breakfast for guests. I did not have enough time to check out the pool. Clean, warm, family friendly place.
Also, they have great rooms for handicap.

The staff was great. The woman at the front desk was great about calling me when my room was ready after I asked from an early check in. She even checked to make sure my daughter got something to eat before her college orientation. Update it's 5 years later and I went back for my daughter's college graduation and my stay was just as pleasant as the first time

Hotel was quiet, plenty of parking spaces. Rooms were clean and modern. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast has the normal buffet style. Check out was a breeze.

Stayed here for one night for a business trip. Very friendly front desk staff and a great breakfast selection

Customer service was excellent especially Saylor and Teresa at the front desk and another lady that tends the breakfast bar. Room were cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast choice was fair and great stay overall. Compared to customer service at other hotels in the area, I would definitely make a return stay when I am in the area.

I was really surprised. The customer service here was amazing. The young lady, Nicole was very helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were cleaned, and spacious. King bed was comfortable and pull out couch as well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others. Perfect location for easy access to the interstate.
Even though we are living in the new normal. Don't miss the wonderful grab and go morning snacks and hot coffee served from 6am-10am.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Greensboro was fantastic. We stayed there for the first time, due to The Lego League State Championship, hosted by NC A&T University. The HI Express was/is extremely clean and comfortable. They also had/have an outstanding Breakfast Buffet. The Front Desk Staff (Keyuna) were/are wonderful, helpful and very friendly, this goes for the Housekeeping staff among many others. If we have another stay in Greensboro or the area, we will definitely be staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Greensboro.

This is an easy accessible location from the freeway. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean!! It's located leading to downtown, A&T, Bennett, UNC-G, and Coliseum. This is the spot to stay over and over

I called in to make a last second reservation for a wedding. I was helped by Jennifer at 11 PM. And she could not have been more kind or easy to work with. looking forward to my stay!

Very clean and welcoming hotel. New property and the first thing I noticed was a clean parking lot. The lobby was bright and spacious. Rooms were also large, very clean linens. The reception staff was cheerful. Great sleep went to breakfast to be he greeted by smiling staff and excellent breakfast.

I am currently staying at this hotel and I tell you what, I plan on coming here again soon. I am from Baltimore,Md and this is one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed at. They welcome you in open arms, it’s very clean, the staff in ALL THE DEPARTMENTS here are doing an amazing job. The room service, man they make sure the rooms are spotless before they leave to clean the next one and they make sure you are comfortable before they leave after they clean it. Complimentary Breakfast here, WOW!!!! No words can explain how delicious the breakfast is. Very clean very fresh and very delicious. All I can say is if you just want to get a room for the night or just in town and need a place to stay Come to this hotel cause you will really be satisfied like I am.

Everyone who worked at this hotel was so friendly and helpful! From front desk to the ladies who did the breakfast, housekeeping, all of them. The hotel was very clean, very comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast was great, even had gluten free options and the 2 women who worked there kept everything well stocked and clean, and they were friendly. If you are in this area, I recommend this hotel!
