Stayed a couple of nights over Memorial Day Weekend to visit family. Front desk crew was amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! Had suggestions for us on dining and exploring the city; and provided a good bit of history on the hotel at the wine and cheese event. The elevator particularly intrigued my 5 yo grand (and us grownups, too). You should definitely check it out when you book here! Great location for walking downtown as well!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this charming historic hotel. Filled with antiques and a bougie vibe, our experience was highlighted by a very friendly and helpful hotel staff, who were more than happy to share local history, give directions and take photos. The lobby is a delight, our room was very comfortable and clean, the elevator is truly a blast from the past. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, including locally baked treats. Easy peasy free parking in the parking garage across the street, and many activities, restaurants and fun family places within walking distance.
But honestly, the very best part of our stay was the staff. They made us feel like we were visiting lifelong friends, and I’ve never had such top-notch service in any hotel anywhere. They are that good at what they do.
I highly recommend The Biltmore Hotel and look forward to our next visit this fall!

Such a beautiful establishment in downtown Greensboro.
Unique and full of history with a warm and friendly staff who genuinely care about the hotel and your experience staying there.
Convenient to great restaurants, bars, historical sites and boutiques.
Facility is kept very clean, they offer a free continental breakfast, plus, wine and cheese in the evenings from 7-8pm.
If you don’t appreciate “old” character and imperfections, it won’t be the place for you. If you love history, mixed in with modern conveniences, you will love this place! 😊
Thank you, Lee, Brian and your entire staff for a wonderful stay.

I did not initially plan to spend the night in Greensboro but it was a fortuitous misfortune my flight got cancelled and I had the opportunity to stay at the Biltmore. The staff was incredibly hospitable and gave me good recommendations on how to spend my time in Greensboro. Lee was super knowledgeable about the hotels history and Coka was very friendly and nice to chat with.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. I loved the 19th century aesthetic, the lush furnishings of the rooms, and the old timey elevator. So much charm and character. I felt like I stepped inside a southern gothic novel
Also the complimentary breakfast and nightly wine and charcuterie offerings further added to the luxurious and classy experience. And for when you want to leave the hotel, it’s in a walkable part of town near many bars and restaurants and only 2 blocks from the train station.
Loved my stay here so much!

We had a wonderful stay at the Biltmore Hotel in Greensboro. Lee and Zoey were amazing and informative. I learned so much about the history of the building from them. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The location was perfect. We were a quick walk to some great bars and restaurants. The whole experience was one of charm, peaceful relaxation, and laughter. We will be back for sure.

We can't say enough great things about this establishment! From booking to check-out, Lee and the other PM staff member (whose name we apologeticly can't remember) was AMAZING! They both were very informative, entertaining, and went well beyond to accommodate our needs. The rooms were clean and our overall experience was top notch! Can't wait to visit again!

Truly a wonderful hotel experience, right in the heart of downtown Greensboro. I appreciated the vintage and antique touches throughout, and the elevator was a treat to ride each time. Skip the chain hotels and go for a unique experience instead (it's why you're traveling, after all!).

Right in the heart of Downtown Greensboro, this is THE PLACE to stay.I visited with two of my adult children in Dec 2023 and the 3 us enjoyed everything from their complimentary wine and cheese reception to their full breakfast (included), and the special attention they give to sharing an overview of Greensboro NC and the Biltmore Greensboro Hotel's impressive histories. Lee and Brian were perfect hosts and made us feel home from the first moment to the last of our stay.
I never want to stay anywhere else in Greensboro. We stayed another place in town and it was so formal and somber but Biltmore Greensboro was upbeat, friendly, perfectly decorated for the holiday, and just right on.❤

Simple, clean rooms in a beautiful, historic building! The hotel was very unique and conveniently located. If your room is located on the outside of the building though, you may need some ear plugs as the city noises can be heard.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were the most friendly and knowledgeable hotel staff that I’ve met. Talking to them made me feel at home and they went out of their way to help us find places to eat and explore. I loved it!!

Loved the staff! Felt right at home! Park in the garage across the street and they will give you a ticket to get you out for free. Super convenient. The continental breakfast was delicious and you could tell that every detail is put together with care. The old elevator is super cool! You can find interviews online with the history of the building. So glad we stayed here. We'll stay again if we're ever in Greensboro (which I prefer to nearby Charlotte btw... way more character!).

Amazing place. So unique and every room is one of a kind. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful and happy. The breakfast has delicious local made pastries and a nice assortment. Prices were reasonable, and great location downtown next to lots of good food. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a good stay at this fun and unique property in downtown Greensboro. As everyone has noted, the staff are superb -- friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable. The hotel's location could not be better, just around the corner from several good restaurants (Blue Denim was our favorite) and the must-see civil rights museum. Yes, the hotel is old, but for those of us who appreciate character, history -- and that incredible and rare Warner elevator -- we're okay with older bathrooms and creaky floors. It's comfortable, with an excellent new mattress, crisp linens, and it's super clean. Breakfast is included and offered options for all tastes. We thought it was a good value and would be happy to return.

This place is amazing. It's one of those places worth coming back to write a review for. The concierge team is absolutely delightful and very welcoming. I was treated to some great conversation with Lee, great wine, and above and beyond service. The rooms were clean, charming, and comfortable, and its in walking distance to a great social district. I absolutely recommend The Biltmore anytime you're in Greensboro.

Had a quick one night stay. Cool place! Maggie at the first desk gave me a history of the building, some of it spooky. The elevator is a lotta fun!

Nice switch up from your average hotel! We went to stay just for the night to have the experience! My kids haven't stayed in a place that dated back that far! It was a nice history lesson. The elevator was so neat to them (the very first in Greensboro). We enjoyed walking downtown and eating at local restaurants. We never had to leave the parking deck which was a plus. The staff was great and the continental breakfast was perfect! Beautiful place packed full of interesting stories that intrigued us! We definitely recommend!

The staff was more than amazing! I would rate them 10 out of 5. Everyone, on staff, I spoke with (all shifts), was very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and local Greensboro attractions and restaurants and so accommodating!!! The rooms were exactly as I expected them to be in a building that old; creaky floor boards and all. The room we had was elegantly appointed. The bed was comfortable. I loved the 90 year old elevator (I rode it for fun!). It reminded me of my childhood. And it was a first of its kind! We will definitely stay there again. If you're there, ask for Lee! Absolutely an amazing host!!!

If all you want is a hotel room, any will do, but if you want an experience and feel part of Greensboro, stay at the Biltmore. Delightful staff and manager that are so helpful, informative, interesting, and accommodating. A 1903 Hotel with tons of history. Aged, lots of character, but very clean. Usually continental breakfasts don’t impress me. This one did. Fresh bakery pastries, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, and breakfast sandwiches. Good hot good coffee. Free parking and so much to do within blocks.
