Hyatt Place Greensboro / Downtown

We moved here from the Hyatt Place on Stanley Road and really appreciated the improved hotel quality. The rooms are spacious and nice. The gym was great - 1 elliptical, 2 treadmills, 1 bike, full dumbbell set, & a cable machine with pull-up bar. The breakfast was good too. Location is excellent and walkable, which we loved. Only complaint was how dismissive the front desk agent was when we arrived to check in. I know we were a bit early, but it's not usually been a problem, so we thought we'd just check to see if a room was available. She didn't even bother to look up our reservation and told us we'd have to wait until 3pm, the "listed check-in time." Okay, fine, we said we'd just wait in one of those lobby alcoves off to the side. About 30 minutes later I see her check someone in. A few minutes later a different front desk attendant took over, and so we thought we'd ask to see if any rooms had been turned over. Not 20 minutes after, she called us up and was very kind and checked us in no problem.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and like the security of the parking garage and key access to the building. My room was clean and the breakfast was satisfying. It was in a great location and convenient to everything I needed.

Great place to stay if u have a dog. Anna and Brittany are great cooks for breakfast never had nothing bad on my stay also they don't serve pork instead they serve turkey which is a plus really enjoyed my stay will definitely be returning when I go to Greensboro

Always a pleasure staying at this Hyatt. The rooms are always clean, the staff is soooooo friendly, and the breakfast hits the spot. The Hyatt coffee is always the best in my opinion. Close walking distance to several areas of interest. Highly recommend!

I stay at the Hyatt Place in downtown Greensboro whenever I am in town for business. I am always treated well and the rooms are always clean and beautiful. Shout out to Desmond who always has a smile and remembers your order from the last time you were there!

If I needed to come back to Greensboro for any reason, this is the place I'll stay. The rooms were great and spacious. Every single staff member I (we) interacted with were very personable and patient with my grandmother. Everyone was courteous and it went a very long way. I appreciate the staff going above and beyond for us. Thank you! Also, the fireworks show is awesome! A great added bonus!

Room was very clean. Bed was very soft. Would have been nicer if it had a microwave in the room. Had three televisions but no way to heat up our leftovers. Views weren't that great, construction on the street below. But it was a nice stay

My wife has in the stands at First National Field and longed to watch a ball game from their pool deck for years. The experience absolutely did not disappoint. We took in the whole game while our daughter played in the pool. Friday night fireworks were even better from up there.

The room was incredibly nice. Lots of windows with sun shades and blackout shades. The room had a nice view of the ballpark.

We spread out the next morning and played board games on the table in the living area. There was a small TV right by the table on a larger one across the room playing the same thing. Different, but a really neat touch.

The hotel breakfast was standard. No waffle maker. Powdered eggs, but well made. Nothing to complain about. Coffee was really good.

The one complaint I had was that their fryer was down and we were not able to eat dinner there like we planned. They only had seven or eight things on their menu, and half of those were dependent on the fryer.

Honestly, one of our favorite hotel stays. We've traveled all over the country and haven't stayed many places we've liked more than this.

This is a nice, new and clean Hotel. The front desk staff was accommodating. The breakfast buffet was good. And the rooms were very clean. I felt safe (I was traveling alone)
The gated parking garage is behind the hotel with a secure entrance. A room card is required to gain access to the elevators from the parking lot. And you must have your room key to gain access to your floor. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great place to stay. I needed an early check in and early check out and they went out of their way to make it happen for me. The room was new and clean. Bed was comfortable. The staff was great. Very well run establishment. 5 stars across the board. Would definitely stay again!

One of the cleanest hotels that I have stayed at in a while. Very convenient for traveling with our dog and the staff was helpful!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. My suite is super spacious, clean, well stocked and looks modern. I used many of the amenities which were easoly accessible and updated! My stay has been very enjoyable.

We were in town for a wedding. Two night stay.

The staff is delightful. Thoughtful, pleasant and welcoming. Just lovely, really.

We had a room with a king sized bed; very comfy. The room, including the shower/bathroom was clean and free from mold.

Breakfast offers included everything from Oatmeal and fruit to cold cereal to bacon and pancakes.

A rental bike point is right outside.

Parking: The garage was an extra $7 per day. Tip: Park on the upper, outside level of the garage. Easy access in and out of the hotel.

There is a lovely park within walking distance.

Held our company sales conference at this hotel. About 70 people at its peak over the course of a week.
It could not have run smoother. The staff is professional, the hotel is clean and well organized. Pam and Shayla in Sales really did make it awesome.
The staff kept us up to date and informed ever step of the process both in the pre event set up and during the event itself.
The hotel is downtown so its a short work almost anywhere.

I highly recommend you check it out.

Everything about our stay was fantastic from the super nice, engaging employee that checked us in (Ms. P, I believe her name was), to the clean and spacious room and the delicious variety of breakfast offerings, we would highly recommend staying here.
