Julian Price House

Easily one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! We felt like royalty in this beautiful mansion. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Upscale drinks and snacks were provided as well as continental breakfast. The grounds were beautiful with benches in different spots of the garden to enjoy the plants and views of the house. The bed and was very comfortable and our bathroom was luxurious. Cannot wait to visit again!

Michael met us at the door, gave us a tour of the house and since there were no other guests the house was ours for the evening. We booked the Dogwood Suite and it is magnificent. Would highly recommend this suite! Walked around the beautiful grounds and took many pictures. This was the best 60th birthday gift!

Michael was an amazing host and the accommodations were second to none. How can you beat a weekend in a 1920s mansion!

Not enough words to describe how amazing this stay was!! Me and 9 of my closest “framily” members booked the entire main house for three nights last weekend and I so wish we could have stayed another night or two. The history and architecture of this home is breathtaking, I needed a day or two to just venture around the house and grounds. The story behind this home sucks you in!! It’s how I ended up there! Michael and Eric are great and thankfully patient, as I’m sure we were not their usual guests, which is another reason we booked all the rooms! So as not to disturb others. 😉

We slept amazing, the beds were all very comfortable and my sisters were looking online for the sheets to buy at their house!! The traveler room did get a little warm when the heater was on and there’s no outlets in that bathroom, but that may be the ONLY small negatives we had and easy to work around since we had run of all the space. The baths were great, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The house was SPOTLESS and snacks and beverages were provided and plentiful. Housekeeping came by each day, cleaned, made beds (and even added extra touches like making hearts on the bed with blankets) and replenished the kitchen items.

We are planning another trip and I cannot wait, this time with less time spent out of the house and more spent in❤ If you are debating, don’t! Especially if you’re looking for some quiet, downtime to relax. This was one of my FAVORITE vacations ever! Thanks Michael and Eric! We’ll be back! I know you can’t wait!! 🤪😬❤

Please, please, please make time to stay at this beautiful, peaceful gem! Every possible need is met in immaculately presented surroundings. We made a chance stopover here for one night, and I'm simply ENRAGED that we had to keep moving...I could have spent a week just looking at lovely touches and details around the house. The owners have done an amazing job balancing a strong design view with the history of this gorgeous historical home. There's a treat for your eyes everywhere you look. Michael was a gracious and lovely host; the type of person you met and feel like you've known forever.

I can't say enough about this special place. We will be back and I've already begun bullying all my friends and family about planning a stay immediately. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will see you again soon!

We loved staying at the Julian Price House! We booked directly through their site, rather than Airbnb. The hosts were attentive, helpful, and accommodating for our last minute travel changes! The home itself is beautifully designed, every detail was thought of throughout the house and garden! I would highly recommend the Julian Price House and will definitely return!

I could not have asked for a better spot to vacation. I stayed in the Traveler's Room, and it was perfect for what I needed. The room was absolutely charming, almost like the child hood room I never knew I wanted. I loved being able to sleep with the windows open and enjoy some cooler weather. (Florida does not get too much of that.). The room was equipped with storage for my things, with room under the bed for luggage, and a cozy chair to read/journal in, as well as a TV. Michael and Eric did a wonderful job with all of the designs inside of the house. Somehow they managed to capture the historic feel of the house, and make it comfortable, and livable for modern times. The pictures are stunning, but to see everything in person, it is so much better!

The hospitality provided at the time of check-in and through out the stay was top notch. Any questions were quickly answered via text, and Michael also provided a great list of antique shops in the area.

I anticipate I will be going back in the future, hopefully when the weather is more agreeable, to enjoy some of the outdoor amenities on the grounds.

Overall, a great place to visit, whether you are by yourself, or with your loved ones.

Wow! We had an amazing time in this wonderful house! Every small detail was meticulously taken care of, and Michael was simply an extremely gracious host. The pictures just don’t do it justice, you have to see for yourself! Any time we had a question, big or small, he responded quickly and never acted as if we were a bother—he recommended places to eat, shop, etc. At the end of the day, though, what I really loved about him was how he reminded me to relax and make myself at home, because it IS a home, so if you visit, enjoy a meal in the beautiful dining room or breakfast nook, a cocktail in the library with a good book or the views from the enclosed porch. Come stay here and escape all the insanity that life has become...you will be glad you did! I can’t wait to go back, think this will be a yearly destination.

We had a Baby Shower here, very intimate and not many decorations are needed because of the beauty and craftsmanship of the rooms. Large Dining Space that's separate from the main room, and kitchen is separate from all parties and large enough for caterers to move around and unload/load without trouble. I recommend for small to medium sized events.

I can't say enough good things about the experience I had at the Julian Price House. It's officially one of my favorite places on earth and I have been all over the world. The hospitality was perfection, every room delightfully gorgeous, and the setting sublime. I can't wait to go back.

This inn is exquisite!! The entire house is grand- beautifully and meticulously appointed. You will quickly settle into your comfortable room, inviting first-floor spaces, and lovely grounds. Call the Inn and Michael will take care of your accommodations. I can't wait to return!!

Michael and his property lived up to the other stellar reviews. He has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail in every way was exemplary. Just remember that it is an older home which affects some things. For example, The Traveler room was perfect for me as a solo traveler. However, due to the age of the house, as mentioned, the shower is small and would not work for anyone much taller than 5'8 or 5'9. However, it is no smaller than some cruise ship showers or some B&Bs I have been in. There is also no outlet in the bathroom. However, he does have a mirror by the accessible outlet to make up for that. As others posted, I used a lot of the ground floor, enjoying meals in the cozy nook, on the open porch outside the kitchen and reading in rhe enclosed porch. From the inviting bedding, to black out shades to accessible kitchenware snd snacks, it truly gave me the mental break and "care" I was hoping for.

the house is beyond gorgeous! my friends and i had a wonderful stay while visiting Greensboro. now, i need to watch the episode of hoarders to see what it was like before the renovation!!!

Wonderful experience and nights stay at the Julian Price House. Beautiful and comfortable and exceptionally well kept.
We had a wonderful time. Easy access to downtown Greensboro and the Tanger Center. Highly recommended!

If you would have seen before its unbelievable how hard these people have worked and restored this to something so beautiful... I've seen the before and my God these guys are amazing ppl who have worked unbelievably hard I can't state that enough thanks for restoring this piece of history
