Ate Late Lunch on a Friday Afternoon.. The deep dish did not disappoint!!! The sauce was chunky and it was the boss. Just the right amount of cheese and of course that thick crust. We actually ordered am medium and a personal size thinking it would not be enough but we were wrong.. plenty to eat and lots to take home. Give this place a try, it will not disappoint!!

Pizza was great, breaded mushrooms were delicious. Beef, wet, served in a bowl, was scrumptious. Cheese on fries were good, but fries were...uh, ok (wish they were hand cut).
I would definitely recommend this place.

The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. I appreciated the salad dressing on the side. The server was for attentive and engaging. We felt like valued guests. I really liked that you could get the lunch specials on a Sunday.

This was our first visit but won't be the last. The deep dish pizza was really good and they give you plenty of cheese so no need to add extra cheese. The wings were excellent...not too saucy and crispy but still juicy. We also had cheese sticks and they were so good...the marinara is wonderful.

Everytime we visit Ana Maria Island, we always pass this restaurant. Finally we had the chance to try this restaurant. Everything we ordered was great and definitely worth ordering. From the pizza to hot dogs to the gyros sandwich, there wasn't a complaint especially from the boys. Had we had more time we would have ordered the deep dish pizza. Definitely will be back.

I've been here a few times and it's been consistently pleasant each time. They have great food and many options. There are daily lunch specials from 11-3 even on the weekends. You can't go wrong here!

Stopped here for Saturday lunch before we checked in for our week at the beach. The personal sized deep dish could easily feed 4! The calzone had the same YUMMY crust. Fresh crisp salad and excellent service. Highly recommend.

Had a delicious Sicilian pepperoni and pepperoni deep dish. The deep dish was cheesy, saucy and delicious. The sicilian had a nice doughy crust while still being firmamd the cryst was reminiscent of a breadstick stick. Very good quality pizza, I'd highly recommended it. Just know its very filling so a medium can easily fill 2 people. But you'll want leftovers. Staff was great attentive and didn't feel rushed despite coming before closing.

We are visiting Anna Maria Island from
Upstate NY and their Chicago style pizza was by far the best pizza we have ever had!! My husband and I both got a personal sized and ate it for 3 days! It was soooo good!! Highly recommended! Fast delivery as well!!

Finding ourselves on the west side of town tonight we paid a visit to Joey D’s on Manatee Avenue. They were pretty busy but got us seated rather quickly. We went with the Sicilian crust and the pizza maker outdid himself, it was outstanding! This place is always good spot to pick up a delicious pizza.

My family and I had a great dinner after the beach at Joey D's!! The pizza is phenomenal at a very reasonable price. The server was great with us cracking jokes and just an all-around pleasure. Sorry for the picture, but it was just that good. I couldn't get a shot prior to eating.

We ordered Jordans garden veggie pizza 🍕 along with chicken wings 🍗. Also ordered white wine n beer. Everything was super delicious. The ambience was also nice. Service was super and quick. I will plan to visit again 😊

If your looking for good pizza and proper Chicago Style Hotdogs then head to Joey D's. A large menu with a great selection of pizzas but their top attractions is their Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. They also have a fantastic Chicago Style Hotdog worth getting. Their menu has Pastas, Philly Cheese Steaks and Wings along with a selection of salads. Great place for families.

We hit this place up after building up some appetite swimming at Manatee Beach. You can order online, call it in, or eat at the restaurant.
We tried both a regular and a Chicago style pizza. The Chicago style pizza had a good cooked crust, I've had this type before where the dough I undercooked due to all the ingredients. DD allow some time for baking. The regular Hawaiian pizza was also very tasty.
Other items that we tried were the buffalo wings, Da Chief Sandwich and the tiramisu.
There were 5 of us sharing all this food and we had a lot of leftover pizza. The slices are big and we are big eaters but we could have done with just one pizza. However, trying both pizzas was worth it. Try this local joint next time you are in the area.

Joey D’s is consistently great at any location. The food is always prepared fresh and the service is attentive and friendly. Best Chicken Philly I’ve ever had. Great wings and salads too. Delicious pizza with choice of thin or thick crust. You can’t go wrong with anything really and something for everyone on the menu.

One Way Family Church ate at Joey D's today after church. It was great. Our server Maya was especially good with our large crowd. She was very attentive. She took our orders quickly and efficiently. The food was very good. It was a nice place to gather.

Wow! Usually I like to plan out where we are going to eat on trips in advance, but this was a random stop after visiting DeSoto national monument, and what a pleasant surprise! This had a pizza place/sports bar vibe with TONS of Chicago stuff everywhere! Service was good and we loved the huge outdoor patio. We had to try a Chicago dog and it didn’t disappoint. We did a thin crust pizza and Greek salad as well, both of which were perfect. Prices are good and I really wish I lived closer so we could be more frequent guests!

their wings are the bomb! deep dish my hubby said is wonderful, I have to eat gluten free... I was impressed

Consistent food, service is usually fast in and out. Excellent chicago dogs. Cheesy beef comes with mozzarella or whiz (try them both, but whiz is the best imo).

Tip for chicago and cheesy beef:
Wet= soaked with aus jus, messy
Juicy= slightly wet with side of aus jus to dip
Dry= dry as a bone with side of aus jus
