I have never written a post about a hardware store before. I felt like I needed to reach out and share my experience with not only good customer service but actually knowledgeable. I stopped in to get paint and primer for an old damage piece of furniture. Nothing fancy I'm not a restorer so I didn't want to put out a big expense on an old piece where the next home would be the dump. Mark in the painting department not only steered me to the right product I need it but much more economical than what I picked out that I thought I needed. The piece of furniture was that shiny fake engineered wood that got water damage. The primer provided an excellent surface tension and coverage. It allowed the paint that Mark also assisted with right here without a gummy or a slick feeling. I couldn't be more pleased and I couldn't have done this without Mark in the painting department. I'm from Maryland and this isn't even my regular store I just stopped in on the way out of Costco when I Googled Home Depot, not realizing it was only a mile away before I drove back to St Pete. Everything about the Home Depot experience even in the pouring rain exceeded my expectations. And I just want to make a point of shouting out to the person responsible which is Mark. Thank you

I ordered Milwaukee power tool set online and one tool came defective. Andrea in customer service went above in beyond to get me the help that I needed. She contacted the manufacturer and got me answers on how to get my tool to the correct place and the situation handled. She went above and beyond what was expected from her. I have never met someone that cared for their customers as much as Andrea. God bless you and thank you for everything!

My fiancé and I had the BEST experience purchasing our Christmas tree at the SR 64 Home Depot location this evening. Team member Michael working tree sales was wonderful from the start helping us find our perfect tree and making it all around enjoyable throughout the process. Someone give this man a raise!!!

I purchased a Tangerine tree from Mike at the garden center and was amazed at his knowledge on everything trees. He took his time explaining to me on how the tree should be planted and cared for and gave me such invaluable advice. I highly recommend seeing Mike at the garden center for all your gardening needs. Honorable mention to Rey for helping us load the tree into our vehicle

My roommate and I (two females in our 20's) went to this Home Depot 45 minutes before closing time as we realized my bed was missing the wooden supports for the slats. They were unable to cut pieces smaller than a foot but told us we could handsaw our own. NANDO is a star employee as he was sweating bullets cutting the wood for us. He was incredibly helpful and kind and went out of his way to help us, even at the very end of his shift. This man needs a RAISE. I can't imagine too many people would have done that for us. Also, LOGAN at the checkout was super sweet and his customer service skills were through the roof. We will 100% be returning to this Home Depot for our future needs and projects. Mike was such a big help and had EXCELLENT customer service. He helped my sister get a lawn mower that was just right for her and also helped her look at vacuums. He didn’t rush us even when closing time was coming up.

Just had some lumber cut by Michael. He was careful with measuring and used all the accuracy of woodworker techniques. Pleasure to watch.

Nice box store to shop. Always knowledgeable staff available.

I always like coming to this store. Our washer took a dump on us, so we went to the appliance area and didn't even need to look around for someone. The gentleman asked if we needed any help as soon as we got their. Their employees are always ready to help find what you need, but at times, there are not many around. They are also great at giving out pointers on your projects.

Home Depot is far better than their competition they have knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help you and they have the items you need at lower prices.

Rating today is primarily focused on HD customer service.

I had issues with two (2) Hampton Bay wall cabinets that were very poor quality.

We returned these to Kim, who got the process started. Kim got Chris (AsstManager) to help out. Chris listened and agreed to stand behind this product.

Could not have asked for more.

I left the poor quality review on the HD web site (KW3036-SW) for future customers and also spoke with Dawn at Hampton Bay Warranty and asked for a callback.

We will see.

Smaller store but has great stock and packs a great punch and has excellent customer service. I do 95 percent of my home improvement business there.

Gary in tool rental was fantastic!! He made the rental process so quick and easy! His customer service was through the roof! We came to rent a chainsaw and not only got that, but everything to maintain it (gas, oil, the blade tightening wrench)! Gary is the best, we will be back!!

I have a Lowe’s close to me. But I always find my self going back to Home Depot for the price. Lowes has better lumber but I don’t need better lumber.
