The mechanics clearly have a lot of experience with foreign vehicles, as they quickly diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in no time.

I met the team at Mechanix through a family member. I went to check them out and it’s a small mom and pop type repair shop that is tucked back off of Hwy 1. I checked them out and decided to bring my Porsche 970 to them for some service work since he had other exotic cars there for work as well. Definitely cheaper than the dealerships but just as knowledgeable. Gary knows his stuff. He is a military veteran with years of experience and knowledge in his trade. He took the time to explain and show me what needed to be done. Since that visit, I had the transmission go out on my jeep. Stopped by and spoke to Gary and his wonderful mom who works the desk. We ordered the transmission and after it got replaced it’s better than before. I’ve referred others to Gary over at Mechanix and they told me the same thing about their experience. If you want to be treated like ol’fashion southern family, go see Gary over at Mechanix. Hands down Best place to go for repair work. Honest and professional service.

I just recently took my wife mom 97 Honda Civic here because the A/C went out. Gary diagnosed it within hours and call me with the problem and resolution. I can’t thank him enough!!! Very good, honest, fast, reliable, and reasonable mechanic in the Palm Bay Area. There are not that many of mechanics like him around, he is one of a kind!!!

I went to MechaniX after a recommendation from my neighbor who used to work as an auto mechanic.

Communication was excellent. I was given options along with suggestions for my RAV4. The work was professional and completed in a reasonable time.

Finding Mechanix was a miricle. Just moved to sebastian and no one could refer a mechanic. We appriciate honesty as really they could have made thousands off us and didn't. Had the car towed to Malabar and didn't cost any more than if we went local. When he told us it was a missing fuse I couldn't believe my ears. It is a comfort finally to have someone we can take our cars to and not worry. This is a real good review because we were very sastified.

needed front struts and received a few bids from other shops and Mechanix came in with by far the best price. After dropping my car off later than requested (My Fault) in the afternoon and adding an oil change and rear brakes and rotors I didn't expect to get it back that day but they really did a great job getting it back to me by 3:30 and the quality of work was TOP NOTCH. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Gary is the best!! My old Excursion 7.3 was a no start... I was preparing to buy another truck but Gary figured it out!! Definitely recommend

After getting the run around by a dozen other mechanics, I went and saw Gary. He was not only friendly and professional but He was also able to diagnose the problem with my car correctly the first time saving me both time and money. 10/10 I would recommend him to everyone I know. I will never take my car to anyone else again!

Always great service! No BS with Gary, he is honest and isn’t going to tell you that you need something replaced if it doesn’t need replaced! This a rare find which keeps me coming back! Well that and the FREE oil changes lol , but seriously if you go any where else your getting duked!!!!!

Gary is a true professional, an exhibits a level of work ethic and integrity that is very hard to find, especially in these current days. We will be using him for our company vehicles as needed, he was able to diagnose a long-standing issue with our limousine, and we would absolutely use him again. Trust me it is hard to find individuals in any line of work that exhibit that old school work ethic and professionalism and honesty and that is why I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Gary, thank you for such a gracious response. I just read it this morning … I must admit that my frustration got the better of me and I apologize for that.

The Acura has a Service Engine Now Light with mileage showing. I just did an oil change and could not reset the light. I think this might refer to the 60,000 mile service which I believe you did when you worked on the car.

The grandkids are here from NY and want to take the car to Orlando. Is there any other reason this light will not reset? Do you think driving another couple hundred miles will cause any potential damage?

I will need appointments for both the GMC …. catalytic converter light makes unscheduled appearances and then it goes away …. The Acura needs the cruise control repaired.

I am a customer who spent nearly $5,000 at this shop. Gary did a great job and I intended to be a most loyal repeat customer. Sadly, I stopped by his shop today and needed to have a headlight bulb installed, a project that might have taken him 2 minutes to complete. He ignored me and would not give me the time of day. I was told he was slammed and I would have to make an appointment to get this service.
Customer loyalty is not something this man aspires to!

Excellent experience! My oil pressure transmitter sprung a leak on my 1997 Buick, dumping oil everywhere. Gary got right on it, properly diagnosed the problem and had me up and running in no time. He also observed a radiator leak and fixed that. I couldn't have been more pleased.

I will use Mechanix LLC for all my auto needs. He went over my vehicle and explained to me what had to be done for safety and what could wait for a later date. It was nice as a single woman to have a mechanic that took the time to explain everything to me. I highly recommend Mechanix LLC Auto Repair.
