The Cigar Bar at The Lot at Edgewater

In the past few months, I become very interested in cigars. I began reading, researching and experimenting with all kinds of different kinds of cigars. Both of my brothers are knowledgeable when it comes to cigars and one of them suggested making a trip to the Lot Cigar Bar. We made the voyage from nearly one and a half hour away. We entered the Cigar Bar and was greeted by an extremely friendly and inviting Bartender, Josh LoAlbo. The establishment couldn't have been any cleaner, to include the restrooms. It was a very warm, inviting and cozy atmosphere with an "home like" feeling. Josh is extremely knowledgeable about cigars and cigar etiquit as well as knowledge about the endless line of spirits that he serves. After speaking with him for awhile, he was able to direct me to a very tasty cigar and exactly the right bourbon. We decided to return after that first visit and this past visit we decided to give the restaurant a go. We sat at the bar and just like Josh, was greeted by a very friendly inviting bartender, which I'm very sorry to say but I dont remember her name. Nonetheless, learning that we are bourbon drinkers at heart, she suggested an Old Fashion that hit the mark and then at her suggestion, we both got the pork chop dinner. I pride myself on my Blackstone skills, especially when it comes to steaks, chicken or pork chops but I'm here to tell you, it was a very thick pork chop and cooked to perfection. The portions were plentiful and fairly priced. We finished our dinner and ventured up to the Cigar Bar to finish our night off with a visit with Josh. At close of this visit, we agreed the Lot will be a biweekly visit at the very least. Whether your looking for a wonderful meal, a cocktail and/or a cigar....the Lot is worth a visit. It's well worth over an hour trip for us to visit the Lot and Josh and look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant, staff and food is great! If you like cigar bars I really recommend this one, the atmosphere and bourbon selection is outstanding!
