Rod's carpet is a local flooring store in Ormond Beach, FL and has a staff with many years of experience and a showroom with flooring of all types to fit any need, style or budget. We worked with Mellie to purchase our vinyl planks. She was very knowledgeable about the different types of product and the company's and was able to advise us on the best product for our needs. She came out to the house to measure and she ordered just enough so we didn't have any waste. She was able to refer us to all the people we needed to prepare our space for the new flooring, lay our floor and then replace our baseboards. Everyone involved did an excellent job. Plus they were super flexible when we had to reschedule do to a delay in other work that had to first be done. Thank-you to all involved!! Rods is hands down the best carpet and flooring business we have been involved with. This has been the best carpet buying experience we have ever had. Susan and her staff were extremely well informed and easy to work with. The install crew was the best. I highly recommend Rod’s carpet tile and wood. We have purchased tile for several of our home remodel projects and Mellie is such a pleasure to work with. She is patient, knowledgeable and has great decor recommendations. She has always been prompt in getting back to me with any questions I’ve had and supplied us with all the information and supplies we needed for our installers so everything goes smoothly. I would also like to mention her co-worker, Eric, who has always been so helpful if Mellie is helping another customer or is out on an appointment. They are such a great team to work with! Their showroom is up to date with so many choices and I like they always encourage you to take pieces home to see them in your space. Eric from Rod's helped us choose our porcelain flooring for our new beach condo. John Ksiazek was the installer we chose. He did an excellent job. He was able to meet our time frame and we have beautiful floors. He paid attention to details and he kept me updated about progress. Would definitely recommend both Rod's and John as an installer.

Rod's is staffed with talented and intelligent professionals. I've used them for a few jobs; most recently, they swapped out my carpeting in my great room for hardwood. From sales (Eric) to administration (Ana) to the installers (Joe & company) -- I could not ask for a better experience. They showed up on time, did what they said they would do without excuses and got done on time. Perfect!

We needed to replace / repair some wood flooring in December 2022 after hurricane damage and contacted Rod's Carpet. Susan was a great help in selecting new flooring and coming up with a plan. Their installation crew was outstanding, both in scoping the job and doing the installation. They were professional and did an excellent job; they were a pleasure to work with in coordinating their schedule with us and were extremely considerate of our space and furniture that needed moving. Highest recommendation!

Rod's came recommended and we are so glad we followed a friend's comments. We had vinyl plank flooring installed in our living room and guest room. The whole operation was smooth and easily handled. Eric on the showroom floor was easy to work with and very helpful. He left us alone enough to browse through almost the whole store (as we were not sure what we wanted to do.) after decision made they came within the week to measure and order. We are so happy to share an exemplary review for Rod's. We had a very bad experience with another local carpeting company so when we walked into Rod's we already had our guard up. Sheila greeted us and immediately provided the empathy and concern we needed to move past our other experience. So .... that very day she sent out a wonderful guy to measure and we ordered new GORGEOUS carpet. Exactly one week later -- 2 of her installers showed up and installed our wonderful carpet. It is luxurious and feels so great on our feet. The installers were professional and very good at what they do -- We could NOT be happier. My advice -- go to Rod's!

Outstanding!!! The vinyl plank and carpet we purchased looks better than we could have imagined. From beginning to end, the process was great. Eric worked with us, making suggestions and providing numerous samples to take home (even came out to our house twice) never once rushing us in the purchase. Denise made sure the documentation was complete, product ordered and processed correctly – done right the 1st time. She also coordinated the install and even managed to get our carpet install moved up a day. They recommended Nathan for trim and paint – use him!! And cannot say enough complements on their installers - Justin’s crew on hard flooring, Tad and Greg on Carpet. They all showed up before the scheduled time and stayed on the job until complete. They respected that my time was as important as theirs. The 3 crews worked seamlessly together and helped each other out. Carefully moved the furniture, helped me move big boxes and then moved everything back. They did their best to reduce dust during the removal of old tile and cutting brick under the fireplace, but dust is to be expected and part of getting it done right. It’s never fun having your house in disarray and cleaning top to bottom but they made it as pleasant as possible and the final product and outlook is worth it. Changed the entire look of the house - looks better than a new home.

The experience of working with Rod's to have vinyl plank put into our living room and hallway was the ideal. They gave an accurate and reasonable quote, got the job started within just a few days of the down payment, and the install was seamless. Not to mention the man they recommended for the quarter round molding (Nathan) was GREAT and even painted the trim as he did the molding. We felt so incredibly well taken care of by this local business. When it came time for the final bill we felt like we got a HUGE deal. Thanks again Rods!

We want to take the opportunity to commend Rod's Carpet and Tile for completing a major floor project in our home. After owning our home for twenty years, it was time for a major redo. Previous flooring was a white tile and carpet combination. Having always loved the warmth of wood floors, friends of our recommended Rod's for assistance. We were moved toward the LVT option, the vinyl tile which looks like wood planks. This product is virtually indestructible and the selections for colors was extensive. Wish we had had this technology after Hurricane Sandy for our home in New York. We are thrilled with the workmanship and the outcome is fantastic. Rod's team was here when they said they would be and the job was very well done. We could not be happier and we HIGHLY recommend Rod's Carpet, Tile and Wood for your flooring updates. Outstanding service.

Working with Sheila and her team at Rod's Carpet Tile & Wood was a great experience. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful and extremely patient as I changed my mind a gazillion times. And, I took several tile samples home with me before making a final decision.

Last week I had to install new carpet in my house. I am so happy with this company. They did a great job, Installers were very friendly, professional and helpful . every thing went so smooth. I had another great experience with Rod's carpet, few years ago they did wood flooring in my Living room, Dinning room and one bed room. Keep up with good job & Best wishes.

We had a great experience with Rod's Carpeting, I was in from out of town and they worked with our schedule to measure the home and install the new flooring. Mellie was so nice and professional and the installers were great. So happy with the beautiful new floors!

I have not bought too much flooring over the past several years but normally go to a big box home store. trying to shop more locally and having grown up here I know Rod's carpet has been around forever and has a good reputation. it was even better than I expected as the owner actually spoke to me at length about the varieties of flooring I was looking for gave me a great deal and work with me on the delivery and installation. Won't go any place else again

We are very pleased that we made the selection to go with the rods carpeting Sheila made it very easy for us to pick out the carpeting that we wanted. Sheila went way beyond helping us with any problems that we had on the carpet that we bought. They really stand behind the product that they sell and have a no hassle guarantee on the carpeting .
