The Clam House Bar & Grill

First visit back since new owners, only because it's a bit of a drive. We like to sit at the bar to eat and was waited on very attentively by William. Decor looks the same as a few years ago but is clean and fresh. Menu also the same and still DELICIOUS! Priced very reasonable for large portions. Steamed clams were fresh and tender. Fried haddock and clam strips were crispy with the best breading I've ever had. Of course, I had to have the cucumber salad, uniquely refreshing. I don't know why we waited so long to get back, but we will be back soon.

Last night was our 2nd time going to dinner at the Clam House! Our waiter Tyson was wonderful and our food was delicious!! I took my son and his wife and 4 grandchildren there the first time and everyone loved their dinners The service was great! We would highly recommend this restaurant for fresh seafood! The portions were big!! The steamed clams with white wine was scrumptious! The fried clams and hush puppies were wonderful! My husband got the clam House Platter grilled . They prepare it any way you want and let you make substitutions! My new favorite seafood restaurant!

First time dining there and it was great. Maria at the bar definitely enhanced our experience, she was magnificent. I got the Surf & Turf with scallops. The steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. The scallops were a good size and equally as good. I will be going back.

I was visiting my sister and saw this place and had to try it!! I'm so glad because this was the best meal that we had during our trip to Palmetto!! This is a local gem that is not to be missed!!! The food is super fresh, the service is super friendly and if you ask for anything that you need it is never a problem!!! The atmosphere is down to earth and a come as you are kind of place! Sit at the bar and make some friends! You can watch the underwater sea life video on the large TV for a beachside feel!!

You won't get a view Of the sea but you will get some tasty seafood at the Clam House. I usually get the seafood platter with the fish, shrimp. Fried clams, scallops and more for a very reasonable price..They also have a sushi/ raw bar serving up some very nice dishes...good value

The food was excellent. We ordered sushi rolls, the tuna nachos, and the grouper sandwich. It was all exceptional. We brought our three little kids and even they loved the food! Great service too. We can’t wait to come back

Our first time here and we will be back often! Food was fresh. Sushi was beautiful and delicious! Scallops melt in your mouth! The staff were friendly and attentive. A bit of a wait, but Friday night prime time we expected it. Well worth the wait! I am so happy we tried it. Thank you Clam House!

Our bartender, Cherokee, was amazing. She was busy but took the time to greet us and made sure our every need was taking care of. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere and the food was just incredible and unique. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Their fish spread was excellent, and I had a shrimp wrap that was great! Didn’t try any sushi, but maybe next time :) all the staff were super nice too. Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent mix of sushi with some options similar to a Thai meal.
The setting is like a beach bar, with two divisions, in the front it is more of a bar and a more relaxed and noisy atmosphere and in the back it is more familiar, although there is also a bar.
The food is very rich with good varieties of fish cuts, and some really great innovative ideas including fried dough and sweet chili, always with a very careful presentation of the dish.
The service is very cordial and the owner of the restaurant is usually involved in serving customers.
Ideal to go with family or friends with a relaxed mood

Clam House is our local restaurant go to! We love the staff, food and service. The owner always makes you feel welcome! It’s great to have a family owned restaurant in our community that we can go to when we have had a long day at work and do not want to cook at home but want fresh local cuisine.

We come in every year while visiting family in FL. We’ve always been happy however this year was exceptional! From all the food to our server Cecelia we could not have been more satisfied. Thank you for another enjoyable experience for our yearly visit!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Every time we come we are impressed with the quality of the food and service. Pepi, our waitress, as well as the owner are friendly and work hard to ensure you have a great meal.

I started bringing fresh fish that I personally caught and had it Thai Fried. It’s absolutely so incredible that I wanted to share my experience, so I attached photos of my last two visits.

We arrived shortly after opening (5:15) on a Friday night and the parking lot, bar and restaurant were packed. Luckily we were seated immediately outside.
The staff were friendly and attentive. Our server Susan was fabulous and right on top of things.
I had the blackened Mahi, Cheesy Grits & Cole Slaw. The fish was fresh, cooked just right and served hot. The draft Beer was cold and fresh! Do yourself a favor and stop in!

First time I have been there and I absolutely loved it! Small town feel and incredible food! We shared the fish tacos, the clam strips and the volcano roll and all were amazing! Service was also perfect 😊
Can't wait to go again and try something new!

We visited tonight, our first time since current owners took it over last year & remodeled. Prior visitors will recognize the excellent menu. Best of all, the food's great. My wife ordered Thai Crispy Fish (Hogfish). Me a sushi sampler plus clams steamed in cilantro, garlic, white wine butter sauce. Service was outstanding. And it's wonderful to see the owner very much on hand. We'll be back!

As a former New Englander, I was very happy to see Whole Belly clams on the menu! They were well seasoned and fried perfectly. The Mussels and the Shrimp and Grits were delicious as well. The staff was very friendly, and Cecelia our server was right on top of things! We will be back and bringing folks with us. We are going to try the Sushi next time!
