Unique place to stop. Even if you don’t purchase anything, the reenactment outfits are intriguing to look at. There are plenty of interesting items and trinkets; Also souvenirs. Pretty good prices as well!

Ordered a US infantry frock. Supply issues kept delaying the order. To make it up to me (their choice, I didn't ask for it) they ended up making it from their best wool, hand stiched the shoulder lining, and threw in (and stiched on) a set of corporal stripes, all at no extra charge. Fits beautifully and looks fantastic. Will definitely be doing business here again. They've earned a loyal customer.

I've bought from them for YEARS! Couple decades...fair, reasonable and helpful. Good quality however, stitch nazis should limit exposure but for general items....civil war news, music, potty call....you know...

I’m new to the civil war, and I was just window shopping... I made it clear I wasn’t going to buy anything. But even still the staff here were so friendly. I started talking to Michael about my interest in possibly reenacting. Before I knew it he had guns and clothing off the wall giving me a better history lesson than the national park service about the particular unit I was interested in. He did this without skipping a beat. Again, I’m not a reenactor, but if you are, I think this is the place to go. I’m pretty confident that if he can rattle off facts about a random unit like that, they’ll take good care of you. (If I do reenact, rest assured I will buy here)

Nice staff amazing amount of quality inventory. Great for reenactors and history buffs. Definitely stop buy when in town for a really unique souvenir hunt.

Great place to visit for period correct civil war equipment, weapons, uniforms and general sundries. You can get original and reproduction items and the owner will talk details with you all day. The guy is a walking encyclopedia of civil war details. I was able to get the last few parts to finish restoring an 1862 musket to working condition.

Pretty awesome place. Lots of black powder stuff and period things. It's just a lot of fun to window shop there, and the antique and working replica firearm selection is pretty cool.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful firearms department stocking authentic period pieces and very good reproductions. Quite a few genuine period long guns and matching bayonets and some authentic hand guns (prices in most genuine firearms are well north of $1000). Authentic and replica black powder arms are exempt from FFL requirements and can be shipped to most US locations direct to the purchaser without the need to go through a locally licensed dealer. Mail orders welcome. Authentic Civil War relics of many kinds ranging in price from $3 (fired bullets) on up plus modern manufacture Civil War items also. Jeweler's Daughter store at the same location supports serious reinactors with reproduction period jewelry pieces and also has some quality general jewelry items in the mid price range.

Selection of historical artifacts and weaponry is outstanding. Be prepared to spend a LARGE sum if you intend to purchase, this type of inventory will NOT come cheaply anywhere you may visit.

More than just another gift shop. This is the actual quarter master for everything needed for the reinactor who is seeking quality, authentic civil war period clothing. Knowledgeable staff & interesting variety.

When in Gettysburg this stop is an absolute must. Not only is the gear authentic but, so is the staff. If you have questions, they will give you the answers. If you are into Civil War history, don't leave Gettysburg without stopping here at least once. The store gives you context of the soldiers, officers and civilians from that time in our history.
This is not a place for the usual kitsch and low quality souvenirs. Take home something that connects you with Gettysburg and those fateful, hot July days. There will not be buers regret if you do.

Great place to go for the civil war reenactor or living history buff. They have some very good quality items and carry a nice selection of period and reproduction civil war weaponry.

Has a good amount of gear that is period correct. Mainly saved me from having to roll cartridges before the reenactment. Life saver.
