Kennedys Lamp Post Tavern

I tend to like a nice local bar and Kennedys works for Mr. Leslie made some great shots for me. An Alaskan Duck Fart, Key Lime Pie, and a Cherry Cheesecake. Ask the next time you stop in.

Great place for not only locals, but tour is also close to the port. Karaoke every night on one side and a billiards bar on the other. You can smoke inside both places so if you're a smoker it's a good place to go. If you're not, maybe not so much. I like to karaoke side. The bartenders are awesome because this place gets really packed and they can treat everybody right. Such a great vibe. Haven't found another place in Brevard county. That's any better to go. I absolutely love this please I have grown up in Cape Canaveral and my parents went here and partied and now I go here and party it's the best little local hole-in-the-wall the owners Bert, Diana, and their daughter Ursula are great there a local family that owns it! I have seen everything in this place I hate to admit it but I have been in a couple bar brawls in this place🤷 this is the only place in Brevard county that I know of that has karaoke 7 DAYS A WEEK !! so if karaoke is your thing that's where you want to go!! The bartender's Simona is absolutely amazing she is the sweetest bartender she makes sure her guests get home safe.. she really takes care of her regulars she is a major asset to that place and she is one of the reasons why I go in!!!!

Doesn't get more Old School than this neighborhood watering hole. Pool tables, darts, karaoke, etc. Good people. They allow cigarettes indoors, which might be a pro or con for some.

I love hanging out at The Lamp Post. All of the bartenders are awesome and the bar has a fun atmosphere. There are two sides. One side has karaoke every night at 9:30 and the other side has pool tables and darts. There is smoking on both sides of the bar so you have to be okay with smoking. Drinks and prices are always good.

If you don’t enjoy a real bar experience than you’ll probably leave a bad review but if like strange & interesting people in a strange & interesting place lined with a thin veile of smoke then get comfortable. I try and find myself in here whenever I road trip south Florida, everytime I time I stop in I love it more. If I lived here I’d be a regular. Can’t wait for my next trip, thanks & see you soon.

Alaina was amazing !!!! If I owned a bar I would try to steal her.We were there on June 20th and had a great experience !!! Drove over from the Orlando area.We will be back to spend $ and see her again !!!!

This place was amazing! My wife and I came here the night of our wedding looking for a night cap. EVERYONE in the bar was awesome! The regular patrons were extremely friendly. Christina, the bartender, was on-point with her drinks and service. The highlight of the night was the karaoke DJ and keeping the blood flowing! There were some amazing singers in that room! I could not have imagined a better way to cap off our night. Thanks to everyone there!

I hung out there last night. I had a total blast. It was a very eclectic bunch!! Many really great singers turned out. The usual not so great ones showed up to but they were kept to a minimum. It was just the right balance of trashy and classy. I had a great time. I'll definitely visit again.

This bar is just my speed. Great price on drinks, nice staff, a bunch of pool tables, what's not to like! I definitely recommend this bar for those looking to become regulars.

This is the greatest "dive bar" in Florida. Karaoke on one side, pool and loud music on the other. Couple that with friendly service and good deals and you've got... well, the greatest dive bar in Florida. Kudos to The Lamp Post.

No food. But people are awesome

365 days a year of Karoake! Great owners and staff. My stomping grounds for 21yrs. I look forward to singing with Big Daddy karaoke whenever I come in town.
