Amazing time staying here last month for a night in one of the yurts. Took a day or so out here when we were in town visiting the Boise area and highly recommend making the trip. Super cool place and the animals were so sweet to see too. Amazing backdrop for exploring the owhyee area. We wanted to go to snively hot springs nearby but unfortunately the river had been running too high and it was washed out. Even with the high level river we had a great time exploring the area, hiking and seeing some amazing views and wildlife. The hosts were super helpful and friendly answering questions I had before over email and greeting us when we got there. Loved the yurt itself, fire pit, deck, and amenities with the community kitchen and bathroom.

One of the highlights of our 3.5 month RV tour. Quaint B&B in the Owyhee river. Two miles to Snively hot springs. Ranch was beautiful, farm animals friendly, and area & accomodations very well kept. River right along the property with amazing fishing. Two Yurts to rent & one RV spot. We really enjoyed it ❤ Alex & Jen (owners on site) were so nice and helpful! We will be back!

Hands down the most amazing place for a fly fishing get away! And the "Hootch" is such a great place to relax and connect with other fisherman. Watching all the farm animals at dusk and in the mornings was so peaceful. 10/10 will be back multiple times!!!

Just returned from three days on the ranch. It was a great experience. Our group was three guys on a fly fishing trip. The ranch was everything we needed and more. We rented the RV, which comfortably slept all of us in our own beds. The views of the sunrise striking the canyon walls was a wonderful way to wake up. There was excellent food in "The Hooch" and Lori's nightly dinners were excellent. This property sits on the river, so fishing after dinner was only a 100' walk. Additional access to fishing was a 5 min drive. This trip felt like I'd died and gone to heaven. I couldn't recommend Owyhee River Ranch more highly.

Second time here and will return again. Great location on the river, perfect for fly fishing. Clean accommodations (yurt, cabins, RV) and great dinners. Large common area with bathroom/shower, hot water, kitchen and snacks. Chris and Lori are super friendly and truly enjoy spending time with their guest and making sure they are satisfied with all aspects of the stay. Thank you both and we will see you again in the future!

This was the perfect getaway - so peaceful and quiet. The owners are extremely accommodating and the amenities are above and beyond. We stayed in the bunkhouse - my wife and I could not have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to Owyhee! Doesn't hurt that the fishing is top notch! Highly recommend.

Outstanding location for any avid fly fisher as you are right on the river. Have stayed at the ORR multiple times now and plan to continue returning both later this summer and on into the coming years. Chris and Lori are more than great hosts...They are the best! The facility, the food and the amenities are all top notch. 5 stars and thumbs up!

This place is really spectacular. Stunning scenery. Laurie and Chris are wonderful, friendly folks. Laurie is like your one friend-from-middle-school’s cool mom who always has the best complimentary snacks. She even has homemade energy bars that are delicious. My girlfriend and I had our kayaks and Chris was kind enough to help shuttle us up the river several miles to drop them in and float it since we only had our one car. They were everything you’d hope for in a host, perfectly helpful and thoughtful where it counts but left us to enjoy our privacy and explore the area while having the comforts of their awesome little desert oasis on the Owyhee River. 10/10 will float again.

Stayed here this past weekend with my dad and buddy for the first time and have nothing but praise for this place. Very nice accommodations with a clean rustic cabin vibe. River out back had great fishing and at night having the common area for cooking was a great plus with the ranch providing all necessary cooking supplies/grill etc. While this place is the only game in town to stay at- its also a great only option to have. I'll be back.

What can I say. I love this place so much. Lori and Chris are the most amazing hosts. They Checked in with us every morning to make sure we had everything we needed. There were logs in the fire in the “hooch” (community space) when we rolled in after al long day of fishing. The pantry is stocked with nuts, granola, hand made energy bars, oatmeal toppings and Sunday topping. Soups chips and everything are available as well as fried full of NA drinks. The space is beautiful directly next to some good fishing spots. I could go on and on but you just need to experience it for yourself. Highly recommend.

We loved it so much we decided to extend our stay despite the fact that it meant double paying for a night...The hosts mentioned someone else had extended their vacation 6 extra weeks! It surprising considering the location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, the fire was always stoked the dinner they prepared us delicious and plentiful enough for three meals. The surrounding area was enough to make an atheist question their faith. I highly suggest you not go here so that I have no problems booking in the future

The owners/managers of the property are very nice and provided excellent service. The business caters to fly fisherman and people just looking for a relaxing vacation on the river. The food was great and our stay was well worth the price. This will go down in the books as being one of my favorite places to vacation... especially for those looking for a vacation that isn’t in crowded cities.

My husband, myself, and our basset hound pup Gus stayed here for a night in the yurt. The only disappointment was having to leave 😭

This place is MAGICAL. It's sparkling clean, the Hooch is stocked with homemade granola, trail mix, condiments, soups, S'MORE KITS.

We loved the little gas fire pit, but ended up turning it off to admire the stars. I've never seen so many stars in my life.

We played horse shoes, BBQ-ed, star-gazed, and slept like babies on the comfy mattresses.

Will definitely be back!! This time with fishing poles.

Gorgeous escape on the Owyhee! The owners have gone the extra mile, with such attention to detail, to make it an amazing experience all-around (on top of the already gorgeous setting). Can't recommend it enough!
