Melanie's Restaurant

2024-01-27: I arrived at Melanie's Restaurant at 6am when they opened, on my way to go exploring. I ordered a half of Biscuit and gravy, a Meat Lovers Omelet, and a sweet tea. Nina was my waitress. She was very pleasant and kept my cup of sweet tea filled. The omelet was loaded with meat and was excellent.

Very good food and service. Nice big booths if preferred over sitting at a table. Our group of five ordered breakfast items: omelets, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits, etc. All were very good. Somone in our group wanted orange juice but when it was served in a bottle rather than a glass, she declined so don't expect to get fresh squeezed juice. The coffee is very good and the servers are very attentive to keeping the cups full. If you like pastries, they are, sadly, not on the menu. Free parking in a lot. Melanie's is conveniently located on Main Street.

My wife loves her grits they didn't have any but by the time her meal came out she had a bowl of grits that's awesomeness

Great restaurant for breakfast. Pancakes are huge. I only order one and service was great.

Stopped on the back way home to Tally for some good country cooking. The chopped steak and mashes potatoes were delicious. We both had the southern special fried okra which was hot and Krispy. It's not fancy but it was yummy. All the folks were nice.

Good food. Burgers so good this is a neat little restaurant. Staff have smiles and are efficient.

Nina is fantastic! Attentive staff with a great sense of humor. Food was delicious, I ordered a feta, tomato, onion, spinach and bacon omelet. Side was breakfast potatoes, and rye bread. Potatoes were fresh cut, and delicious. Perfection! Thanks team, "Sexy" says he misses you all ready!

A typical American breakfast in Ocala, fl super rich, and very good and fast service.

The breakfast here is wonderful! The people are friendly and the service is amazingly fast! The meats and pancakes are so awesome and the best part is the homemade chocolate milk. Definitely a place to go is you ever drive thru Williston!

Went on a Saturday with my daughter and son-in-law I had an excellent omlette and our server had an awesome personality.

Really good breakfast! Perfect biscuits and gravy. I really like this place they seem to always deliver. Lunch review is a bit different. The food looks great but lacks flavor. The chicken fried steak was small and bland with white gravy. The fries are bland and unsalted. The chicken tenders were also very bland and unsalted. The French fries could have had a nicer portion too. I ate my chicken fried steak and fries then polished off my kids burger and helped with the nuggets so the portions are a bit small. It's still good just understand you need to ad salt to everything lol
