La Posada Lodge & Casitas, Ascend Hotel Collection

I came in to celebrate Valentine's Day with my younger sister. She's had a long and difficult road to recovery and is doing amazing now. To celebrate, we came to see the new baby giraffe at the zoo in Tucson. We had to switch hotels earlier in the day, due to cleanliness. Valerie at the front desk was so sweet & got our mini-vacation back on track. Alexis at the bar, in Gringo's, after a very long day (Valentine's Day), was a gem. Cute (& CLEAN) rooms... excellent staff. I can't wait to bring my mom and husband next time.

We liked it very much. It was great for our dogs. We had a casita with a front porch and a back terrace. Beautiful room with kitchen area, beautiful decorating and landscaping. Very reasonably priced for the quality. We’re adding it to our list of favorite Tucson hotels.

Loved staying here. The bartenders were so much fun. The rooms were okay, the shower head was too low for my 6'6" boyfriend but we made due. We had to pay for the breakfast but it was pretty delish. Wish they had bacon more than twice for our entire 2 week stay tho. Overall would definitely come back.

La Posada was a terrific stopover in my travels. The greetings were always welcoming, and the service was thoughtful. The breakfast buffet was generous, fresh, and high-quality, whether it was waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, or biscuits and gravy. My guest room was comfortable and nicely decorated. I slept very well with the exception of the occasional noisy neighbors. The toilet appeared to be quite old, and the seat was worn out.

Great service. Clean room. Very nice pretty touches. Free bottled water. Only $50 more for a larger room with a small yard. Dogs allowed too.

Third hotel we stayed in on our honeymoon and hands down best one we stayed in.
Front desk Valerie was very welcoming and morning staff greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were awesome, very clean and pretty. Stay here!

Nice resort with a friendly, accommodating staff, especially Oday at the front desk and JD in the bar. After having a terrible experience at another hotel in the area, my husband and I made a list of hotels we wanted to see if we could move to. We immediately decided to stay here after meeting Oday at the front desk. We stayed in one of the casitas which was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. They served a tasty breakfast and the food in the attached grille was very good. We will be staying here again.

Nice resort. The pool and slide are great. Some rooms could use a little refresh or modern update, but great value and a beautiful location. We'll be back.

After an hour of researching for a place to stay, the La Posada Lodge & Casitas caught my eye. I’m so glad we stayed here. I would definitely come again. The decor, gardens, views, pool, breakfast and service were all great! Don’t hesitate to stay here. I only wish we had more time to spend here.

A great hotel! Service was excellent, pool was good sized and heated! If in the area again, I will definitely stay here again!

Although this is an older facility, it is very well maintained and updated. It is cozy and charming. The staff was extremely helpful and forthcoming with recommendations for how to get around. They made us feel extremely welcome.

The staff was amazing and lobby and overall ascetic warm cozy and inviting. the handyman was helpful, professional, and diligent.

The rooms are a bit worn around the edges. There were covered outlets, mold in the shower, and a poorly patched ceiling to name a few negatives.

Overall, I did like the idea of the facility, but the room we were in definitely needs an upgrade and some TLC

Absolutely STAY HERE! We loved it! After looking all around on Google maps, this place caught my attention. For a very small amount more, your stay is sooo much better than a regular hotel. It is beautiful! The grounds are well maintained. We had a continental breakfast with eggs, bacon, and skillet potatoes in addition to all the regular items. All items were fresh with continuous attention from staff. The check out time is 11am, so we spent all morning enjoying the pool. Just a small piece of paradise! Be aware there is a small resort fee. Will only go here if ever returning to Tucson!

Great experience. The staff was awesome. The rooms were cozy with great, unique southwestern touches. The kids loved the pool, and the breakfast was better than I have had at much pricier hotels. Will be my go-to hotel whenever I am in town.

An absolutely beautiful place! Great preserved architecture and design, and the service is impeccable. Dining in the on-site restaurant (The Turquoise Room) is reasonably priced and outstanding, with some interesting meal options for the adventurous, and more standard fare for those who aren't. Located a block from the "Standing on a Corner" Eagles tribute site, which is another bonus for this fan.

Stayed 5 days and 4 nights. Loved it. The free continental breakfast was really tasty with plenty to choose from. The place gave me serious cruise vibes (that's a good thing) but the Casita feel was very grounded and homely. Very welcoming pool with amazing staff.

The place is beautiful. The food and drinks awesome. The crew from the housekeeping to the receptionist and everybody in between are awesome.

Why aren’t you staying here? That would be my question for you if you are visiting Tucson. Are you looking for a authentic, cool, clean and friendly experience? This is your place! Plisa the breakfast attendant is top notch. She deserves a raise. That lady takes care of the customers like they were family.
Don’t get me started with J.D. the sweetest and most patient server on the planet. He listened to my father-law tell astronomy jokes…and laughed. He was very accommodating.
The grounds are beautiful. Our balcony…who gets balconies these days???
The pool is paradise and the location is perfect.

Love this place! We always stay here while in Tucson. It is clean and seems to be a nice part of town. The rooms are very cutely decorated.
