McGary's Discount Groceries

Fantastic selection! There are some really good prices on a huge amount of the items offered here for purchase. Groceries included fresh produce, boxed, canned, bottled, bagged, candy, soda, pantry staples, refrigerated, and frozen. There are way more than just groceries here. They also have cleaning products, kitchen misc, personal, hygiene, office supplies, pharmacy items, etc.

McGary's is the best! It's a salvage grocery and more store. So many great deals on food, cleaning products, health & beauty products, toys, everything! The owners and employees are the nicest people and really serve this community in providing an affordable place to shop. I can't say enough good about this store.

I love shopping and now working at MCGARYS. I have been a customer since the early days when they were at the swap meet. Just wanted to put in appreciation and come and save at this fabulous place.

McGary’s is the best for snacks and sodas. They also have specialty grocery items at a huge discount, vitamins and personal care products. It is impressive how often they get new items in. Some of our favorites are 2 x $5 café bustelo bricks, lindt truffles at 2 x $3, mini coke cans at 4 x $1. There has never been anything that has tasted stale. The lady at the front who is cashier on the weekends is really sweet too!

The best prices in town! I picked up two Ghiradelli Chocolate Carmels for $3.00! Yay me!

Awesome store with great prices and they carry so many wonderful products and great items. Toys, snacks, goodies,clothing,camping household, pet, and much more. Awesome crew of employees and it's well stocked and clean.

Love this place I have favorite brand names I love getting here for 1$ rather than 3.50$ everywhere else,and if you need bicycle tires tubes and ALOT more 2$ here. On wall next to registers

I'm giving them 5 stars because they do a great job of servicing the community with 2nds that help feed people that can't afford the big box food stores! The music is Christian which makes for a pleasant listening and the workers are all pleasant and helpful.

I love their variety, and discounted prices. The store always looks great. The employees all work well together as a team and are knowledgable on products at hand. I plan to shop there on a regular basis. Best shopping experience I've had in years. 👍

They have great deals on non-perishable food, slightly past the sell by date. In an old Walgreens store they have room for so much more.

I have many great memories from the Swap Meet location. I've gone there for almost a decade. A lot of the prices aren't as competitive as they used to be, as some of them are the same or more expensive than new product at a grocery store. Around 20% of the merchandise is dirt cheap and enough for me, though, so it's always worth a trip.

Greatest and most unique individuals, always helping and greeting everyone not just "me" I thought I was cool and these gifts there. Check this out!!

Stopped by to see what the store had, they have EV ER Y THING! Great prices on most items, cereal, bread, hocolate, cleaning supplies, children's toys, flip flops, they've got it all and very clean.
The lady at the register had a cowgirl hat on today, great employee. I will return.

Found this great grocery store by accident last Halloween when I was driving down Grant road and Oracle form Sunday church. I was headed to a another store but decided to turn around and check it. The staff and security personnel are great and friendly and when I ask a question or or for anything in the store they help out. Been going there for about a year now and I find groceries and drinks at great prices and some things that they don't sell in a regular store little treasures. Sometimes you have to dig in the Ben's and look at the shelf for things but it's worth in the long run. The staff and security like a said are wonderful and keep am eye on you and people who try to be to cause problems they are on it so don't mess around with then. But I do like the place and bargains. Also be warned if you see something on the self you better get it if you go back and it's gone your out of luck. And the have clothes ,hair products and regular items for the house and kitchen and bathroom and school supplies. Holiday item's and the little thing's you find in the store.

Massive deals abound, but checking expiration dates is a must!!! They sell ready to expire or already expired product. Some food and bathroom items are ok for a certain amount of time after the expiration date, but we've found items that expired 4+ years earlier at their store.

This is always the first store I go to when I need pantry staples and canned goods. $6 28 oz cans of Cento San Marzano tomatoes are always $1-2 here. Lots of beans and pasta and rice that are still good, maybe a little past their best by, but not something you worry about when you need food and it's what you can afford. I always check the dates of the food, which I don't think enough people do, even though the store has signs to encourage it. The employees are always nice and helpful, it's always been clean when I go, and even though it's small, it's what Tucson has as a grocery outlet, and so I'm very grateful. Don't skip out on it just because it's not a chain grocery store! It's worth the visit :)

I have seen this store on my way home for a couple years and never stopped until recently. Was pleasantly surprised by the variety of goods and food, and the prices are amazing. Especially good for snacks and lunchbox fillers, but have gotten great deals on laundry detergent and personal care products as well. Some products are expired or close to it, but especially for nonperishables, I am not terribly concerned about it. And none have been bad after being opened. Staff is friendly, and the store is well kept. Bonus - contemporary Christian music on the speakers!

Nice clean store! Extremely reasonable prices. They say out front that some of the stuff is outdated but they are very upfront and have signs under the stuff that is outdated. The items I bought have a couple years shelf life still. I will be returning

McGary's is full of hidden gems! Some of the discounts here are wild, expect to find items 10-50% off normal grocery store prices. The selection is always changing, so you don't know what you'll find. Sometimes the packaging is messed up or things are past expiration, so you have to be a smart shopper and decide if that's okay with you.

The owners are awesome the workers are great (except for one lady) with long hair that works there that's mean and always negative. I just keep my distance from her.
The rest of the workers and security are awesome and friendly. Great prices and good selection.
