I stayed at the Armory Park Inn last week for two nights while on business. The inn is beautiful with spacious rooms and fantastic furnishings. It is very comfortable, not like some places where you might be afraid to sit on the couches. Not here. Every afternoon they offer a hosted "wine hour" with drinks and snacks. Dora, the innkeeper, is a gem and spent time engaging and introducing guests to each other. There is a lovely patio with a fountain out back and the inn offers cruiser bikes to guests, which is really nice as the inn is close to many restaurants and shops. I can't wait to return for another visit!

Armory Park Inn: A Historic and Luxurious Bed and Breakfast in Downtown Tucson

This historic inn, built in 1875, and once serving as a stagecoach coach stop for travelers en route to the Presidio, offers a unique blend of Old World charm and modern amenities.

Location: Right in the heart of downtown, the inn is on a quiet street with restaurants and shops a few minutes away.

Rooms: With only seven rooms, the Armory Park Inn provides an intimate and personalized experience. Each room is beautifully appointed with a fusion of historic details and modern comforts, paying tribute to iconic personages in Arizona history. 18 foot ceilings adorned with saguaro ribs and spacious marble bathrooms, are just a few of the details that add a touch of luxury.

Amenities: The inn boasts an array of amenities, including a beautiful complimentary breakfast each morning featuring locally sourced ingredients. In the evening there is a hosted “Armory Hour,” where guests can unwind with a glass of wine paired with cheese and crackers. For relaxation, a cozy outdoor patio welcomes with a firepit, as well as courtyard fountain. The upstairs has a quiet study for guests wanting a space to work, write or read. The downstairs library offers a collection of books on Tucson history. Complimentary bikes are also available to explore the area.

Breakfast: One of the highlights of a stay at the Armory Park Inn is the breakfast. Guests and myself included rave about the three-course meal, which includes fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, cake with sides of lemon curd and vanilla sauce, and a regionally inspired main course.

Overall: The Armory Park Inn is a fantastic choice for travelers seeking an historic and luxurious place to stay in Tucson. With its charming atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious breakfast, it’s no wonder this Bed and Breakfast gets rave reviews every time.

Cost per room is an average of $200-$250.

We have stayed in historic buildings that now operate as boutique hotels for over thirty years.

While we enjoy unique older, stays that have a history, far to often, we find them lacking in plumbing, heating and cooling , privacy and overall condition of the physical buildings.

Happy to say that this was not the case with the Armory Park Inn.
Everything was stellar, including the staff. The rubber from the website hit the road with the actual experience of this special place.
Truly, a refreshing experience !!

We will be back !!

Armory Park is a small charming inn in a quiet and upscale part of Tucson. The building and grounds are lovely and immaculately kept. The hosts, Amy and Sheila, were gracious and the breakfast was delicious. It was a short but perfect stay. Will definitely return on our next time through.

This Inn is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. Everything is 10/10 from the exquisite decor throughout the Inn to the individual design and cleanliness of the entire property and rooms. The service and hospitality you receive from the poised and professional ladies that look after you during your stay is second to none. This Inn could not be quieter.. whether you choose a main floor room or second floor room. This is due to the quiet neighborhood but more how this Inn was designed. The windows open in each room, so the fresh air is such a treat.
We stayed on the main floor in the Poston Room and it was the perfect room for us. The breakfasts and happy hours are first class. Lastly, being able to park right in front of the Inn on a beautiful wide street is super luxury. Thank you Amy, Dora and Sheila for the most memorable part of our trip to Tuscon.

A historic gem brought to modern comfort with an aesthetic museum worthy. Thoughtfully manifested with keyless entry, blackout shades that silently descend, curated art, esoteric book selection, an outdoor area swoon worthy landscaped, fabulous fabrics, voluptuous couches, comfortable bedding, Los Poblanos bath products, and fresh made breakfast nutritious and beautiful. But the best detail is the manager Dora who from the minute you enter until the moment you leave will make you feel welcome. Skilled in consumate manners and hospitality her presence is as thoughtful as the monogrammed Turkish towels.
A BEAUTIFUL, quiet, historic neighborhood surrounds this desert diamond. I will return!
Thank you for creating this thoughtful oasis.

The Armory Park Inn exceeded all expectations, providing a 5-star experience that surpassed even our extensive travels. Despite initial hesitation about staying in a bed and breakfast, stepping through the door immediately confirmed it was the right choice. Each of the uniquely designed rooms, occupied by my family across three of the seven available, boasted modern furnishings that seamlessly blended with the historic charm of the Inn. Every detail, from the luxurious Italian made bedding to the carefully curated amenities, showcased a commitment to excellence.

The abundance of seating areas, both indoors and outdoors, allowed for comfortable relaxation and intimate gatherings. The attention to detail was remarkable, with thoughtful touches like a bedside charging station, luxurious toiletries, and refreshments readily available. Breakfast was a highlight, served in two delectable courses tailored to our preferences and dietary needs. The homemade scones and yogurt parfaits were incredible as was the asparagus frittata. Dora, one of the Innkeepers, noticed my brother’s preference for fruit and took it upon herself to pick fresh grapefruit off her own tree to serve at breakfast!

I truly cannot say enough about the entire staff. Amy, the Inns proprietor, Dora, and Shelia went above and beyond, offering personalized recommendations for the day and ensuring every moment was memorable for our family.

The daily happy hour provided a delightful opportunity to unwind, while the convenient location allowed for easy exploration of downtown Tucson's culinary delights and attractions. A personal favorite was Charo Steak and Seafood. The backyard oasis, complete with a cozy fire pit and well-appointed patio, provided a serene retreat anytime of day.

The small gym, equipped with top-of-the-line Peloton equipment and every amenity was a pleasant surprise, reflecting the attention to detail evident throughout the Inn. They provided all sizes of Peloton spin shoes!

Amy and her team have truly set the bar high, leaving us with unforgettable memories and a reluctance to stay anywhere else. Their exceptional hospitality deserves every accolade, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share this glowing review.

I'm hesitant to write this review as I'd like to keep this gem hidden. The owner put a lot of thought into renovating this antique residence into a boutique hostel. It's a privilege to experience the atmosphere.

Come in the summer for less traffic.

Everything about Armory Park Inn was fantastic and inviting. The decor is lovely. It’s very clean, quiet, safe and incredibly comfortable. Lots of places to sit and relax outside your room in the house as well as outside. Amy is very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. ‘Armory hour’ is a nice added bonus with drinks and an appetizer. They have a great coffee station set up in the morning as well. The rooms are stocked with pour over coffee and tea. They also have filtered water. Dora the general manager was a delight to talk to (a highlight for us). I can’t recommend staying here enough! We will for sure be back!

Such a delightful 2-night visit here! Everything was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Although we only stayed in one of the seven rooms, we will be sure to try the others in our future visits. Safe neighborhood, safe boutique inn and parking across the well-lighted street. Our host, Dora, was so warm and friendly and prepared breakfasts for our vegetarian needs. The included happy hour was a real plus. The outside fire pit and chairs were cozy and relaxing. There's even a workout room below. Can't say enough about this inn. You won't be disappointed!!

Our stay here was lovely thanks to the gorgeous design of the inn and the gracious staff. The inn is in a quiet location within walking distance of downtown. Breakfast was delicious, and happy hour was a fantastic time to relax in the inn's beautiful garden. The owner, Amy, is so passionate about Tucson and was so kind to bounce activity ideas around with us to make our time in Tucson memorable. Would definitely look forward to staying here on future visits!

What a gem in the heart of Tucson! Peaceful, quiet, and extremely clean with lots of old Tucson charm. The room was beautiful with attention to every detail. The garden was amazing with a fountain & fruit bearing trees. Their fitness center downstairs was great. Fun & interesting books to thumb through in El Presidio. Our gourmet breakfast was delicious & made to order. We didn't plan on taking any of the classes offered but maybe next time we will. The best part was the staff. Dora & Samantha were pleasant & accommodating, thank you so much for your hospitality! Highly recommend The Armory Park Inn.

Such a wonderful staying with The Armory Park Inn. Very lucky to have almost the entire property to ourselves (fully booked the night before), and the opportunity to chat with Dora the Manager, and Amy the owner. Both are welcoming, fun and elegant ladies. The setting and decoration are a modern luxury comfort blended with sense of history. As to the amenities, only the best are chosen. It could be easily told how proud the ladies are of the property. Thanks Amy for sharing her story as the 8th generation Tusconer.

Everybody loves the breakfast here. The homemade scone is my favorite, yet the whole 3-course food is beyond words.

We travelled all over the country, and most of the time we stay in hotels. So glad I picked this wonderful B&B this time. Will definitely come stay again

This lovely Inn experience was exactly what we were looking for. Amy and Dora made our visit absolutely perfect with their attentive and well manicured property. Each morning we we enjoyed a provided breakfast outdoors and evenings included a happy hour. Don't hesitate to book this stay. Each room is well equipped with every single thing you will need, a mini fridge and a super comfortable bed and quality bedding. Amy left no stone unturned when she repurposed this beautiful and historic property near downtown (fully walkable distance).

My husband and I stayed here recently, our first night away from our twin babies! Our stay was amazing! Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the building has so much character and is beautifully decorated. We felt very safe with all of the precautions during this pandemic. We loved talking with the manager, Dora, and she cooked us the most amazing food! It was the perfect experience, we felt so well taken care of. We can't wait to go back!

There are plenty of places to stay in Tucson but none that offer the hospitality and exceptional service at The Armory Park Inn. Beautiful inn, impeccably decorated. Within walking distance to the downtown and its shopping and restaurants. But the best part of the stay was the innkeeper Amy who made our stay extra special. Special shoutout to Dora who was so accommodating. We loved every moment of our visit and can't wait to come back.
