Pam was so knowledgeable about the products. She helped us with making elixirs, body scrubs, and lotion. She was amazing! Whether you live in Tampa or are just visiting, you MUST visit. Me and my best friend had a blast and the prices are great!!

This store is so worth visiting at least once because after the first visit you will definitely want to return. Pam is so knowledgeable about all the products in the store. She is patient and honest. Everyone I invite to go they always end up loving this shop!!!

There is always a wide selection of beauty products for everyone in the family, and her inventory features products I have not been able to find any place else in Tampa. ***OMG where do I start? First visit today and I was simply blown away by the kindness and professionalism. I saw the store being showcased on the news a few nights ago and knew I had to stop by. Lots of great items to choose from with very reasonable prices. Thank you My Shade & Texture! You are a breath of fresh air and definitely needed. I will be back soon.

I absolutely love this place!!!! While in Tampa last year I was exploring their black own businesses and I stumbled across this place and loved it ever since. I literally only buy my hair products from here and I live in Virginia. Oh let’s not forget she has a “DIY” station where you can also make your own hair oil and body scrub.

I love My Shade and Texture! Upon my first visit to the store, the owner, Pam, took me on a tour of the shop. She introduced me to new items and thoroughly answered my questions. The 2nd time that I visited the store, I informed the owner of my fiancée's problematic issue with his scalp. Pam knew the exact products to refer. We've been using the products and have noticed an improvement! Each visit to the shop has been a pleasure. I love the products and exemplary customer service. Shopping online via the website is also a breeze. Thanks, Pam, for a great experience. I am and will continue to be a returning customer!

This is a wonderful black owned beauty store (way to go Pamela!)! They are also expecting to reopen their hair salon in the near future which is located next door to the beauty store so stay tuned! Every woman working here was kind and friendly from the moment we walked in. This store does not carry products only for African Americans. They carry products for EVERYONE! My wife is white and we walked out with all types of products including a personal scrub she was able to make from scratch in the store! Thank you for your help with that London! Ladies and you too men, do yourself a favor and stop by!

I did a blend & glow experience here for my birthday and my experience was nothing short of incredible from booking the appointment to the end of the party. Pam the owner is absolutely amazing and my loved ones were astonished to find out I didn’t know her. She treated me and my guest like family. The presentation was awesome and I am impressed with the quality of products created. I’m excited to share this gem with others. Safe to say this is only beauty store I’ll be visiting from now on.

A pleasure as always! I came in for hair gel only, lol that never happens. Pam took the time to show me her scents and I could not resist. I picked Watermelon Colada and Spicy Pie. I made my own body scrubs and elixirs to match at the DIY Beauty Bar. I love coming to this place because they are a wealth of knowledge on natural hair products. I highly recommend coming here. It’s not just a store, It’s an experience. I did buy Keep My Kurls by HBJ Glam, my curls are definitely poppin.

I LOVE THIS STORE! All of their products are great for various types of hair care. I have locs and have been struggling with a dry and itchy scalp. Today I was able to go in and speak to Pam and get recommendations on what I could use. You can’t get this level of care at any old beauty supply store. I’ve gone into other stores and asked employees about products and they didn’t have a clue, but I knew I could come here today and ask any employee what I should do and they would be able to assist. They are knowledgeable and have such a great inventory of natural and organic products. If you want quality products and service, visit My Shade and Texture!

Very nice store full of great products for your hair and body. Very good smelling perfume oils and body butters. They also have so many black hair care products and a area to make your own scrubs.

Love this shop! They carry organic pop up brands and an array of natural hair products! Pam also has a ‘Glow Bar’ where you can customize your own scents. ✨
I love the perfume oils & incense sticks!
(I believe they are the owner’s homemade line!) She also host little beauty events with lash techs & hair stylist from time to time! You can tell how much she cares about her business! Many times you will leave with a free goody bag along with your purchase! I usually stop by once a month for bleach/dye to touch up my roots since she carries the “Adore me” color band. + I just appreciate the vibe of this place! Come support black owned businesses! 🤎

This is your one stop shop for everything to help you on your natural hair journey as well as self care routine! The owner Pam is very friendly, well educated in the products she sells, and just an all around phenomenal business woman. She will take the time with you to make sure you understand and feel comfortable about the products and services you are purchasing which ensure you’ll return every time and even bring a friend. I am glad she is located in our community! I am a forever Shade Babe!

Had a great time creating skin and hair care products for a friend’s birthday! Pam is the absolute best! She went above and beyond to ensure we all had the most amazing experience and that the birthday girl was celebrated. And she has awesome products!

It has not been easy for me to find the right products for my hair, once I grew my natural hair - UNTIL I discovered My Shade and Texture. It has been a godsend. I now have my family and friends on Pam’s products. Highly recommend it!!!

I had an excellent experience! Yesterday wasn’t my first time going but it was the first time I went and actually looked around without bed lining it to the door. Ms.Pam was so nice, she helped me find the right oils in her custom glow bar to help me reach my hair goals; she also concocted a custom blend for my best friend and hers! I was also looking for an edge control and was able to sample which one worked best for me. I drove all the way from hernando but I will be back
