MD Oriental Market

It's a great Asian market, lot's of great finds. From seafood, produce, hard to find foods to kitchenware. Wonderful people working there, very willing to help find what we were looking for. Good prices and an amazing tea selection.

First time coming and very impressed with quality and selection. Young son decided he wanted us to try making gyoza (dumplings/potstickers) ourselves. Our regular grocer didn’t have round dumpling wrappers. This market had multiple kinds and were easy to locate in the back freezer section. The produce/vegetables also looked very nice. Son also got a kick out of seeing the extensive selection of live seafood (crabs and fish). Cashier was pleasant and politely answered our questions (we wanted to double check if the wrappers we chose were ok for making gyoza, which she confirmed and offered additional advice). Would highly recommend this market for anyone looking for hard to find Asian cuisine supplies, or if you want a nicer selection of produce. And, happy to share, our first attempt at gyoza went pretty well!

We've always liked this place. They have a great selection of asian foods and ingredients, and the staff is helpful. They have fresh vegetables and fruits, some of which are hard to find in the US, as well as fresh meat and fish (but I can't comment on the quality since we're vegetarians).

They have some baked goods, as well as many frozen foods that are easy to cook at home. They also have cooking utensils and teapots and all that kind of stuff. Prices are reasonable.

A great variety of products and great service. The place is my new favorite for oriental needs. I bought a roasted duck that was the hit of dinner. Highly recommend

I have been shopping this asian market for over 20 years, it's one of the top 3 in Tampa. Live fish, crab, shrimp, lobster, clams, snails, geoduck and more in seafood. Butchered pork, beef, chicken, duck and more packaged and displayed.

Huge assortments of fresh fruits and vegetables are always present. The frozen sections abound with a trove of food gems. One of the most heavily stocked markets available with a myriad of products for all asian types.

For many years it was mostly asian customers but now you see all ethnicities shopping for the incredible variety, low costs, rare items and unexpected treasures. Today, live maine lobster was 12.99 a pound and live dungeness crab was 14.99 a pound.

Cheapest in the whole town I got nine pieces of bok choy for $4.00 I got carrots dried mushrooms with last me for a long time Wood ear mushrooms are the best. Try something new people it's awesome they have the best product and if you get dried it last longer and then just rehydrate with beef or chicken broth

Today, I had a wonderful experience at MD Oriental Market while picking up sushi ingredients to create my own California roll and sushi maki at home. The market had an impressive selection of fresh fish, including salmon, tuna, and shrimp, which were perfect for making sushi. The staff at the market was friendly and helpful, guiding me through the different types of fish and recommending the best cuts for sushi.

The market also had a wide variety of other Japanese ingredients, such as nori, rice vinegar, and wasabi, which made it a one-stop-shop for all my sushi needs. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and I could tell that they were fresh and authentic. The market was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for.

Lots of nice selections, and they also carry brown sugar boba ice bar, tea,.noodles, dumplings, etc. They hace meat and seafood department as well. Fresh vegetable, kitchen ware, luck bamboo and herb sections.

This is my favorite Asian market. They have a huge selection of soup stocks, sauces, produce, and dried/dehydrated goods, but I was really blown away by the excellent variety and quality of meats. There are a ton choices for each item, whether you're looking for noodles or frozen foods, instant meals, etc.

I absolutely adore MD Market. My closest store is Pinellas Park (The Best!), but all three locations have a dearth of items I just can’t find anywhere else. This time I found fresh squid and it was fantastic, they sell cleaned or whole for the same low price. Meats and seafood are fresh and seem local, although I didn’t ask. They have the biggest chicken drumsticks I’ve ever seen, so flavorful. Just go check it out, there is so much on offer. And of course, the hot food bar can’t be missed! My only complaint is that there’s not much meat on the prepared Peking Duck but maybe it’s just so delicious I want more…

Always has what you need. I got a few goodies and some fresh vegetables. Rice is a good price and lots of snacks.

Great Asian grocery in Tampa. If you're filipino, they have a better selection than the Filipino grocery store. Good fresh fish and crab section as well.
