University Inn Tucson

Overall pleasant stay. I normally don’t stay at motels because of bad experiences but this one exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly, parking lot was clean and safe. They have a couple electric vehicle charging stations. The room was modern and clean. Would stay here again.

Rooms were spacious and very nice. Staff was accommodating and let us check in early. It is also centrally located without being right downtown.

Exceeded our expectations. Super friendly owner. He stated to us “This hotel is my baby”. He takes a lot of pride in it and it shows. Clean, safe, quiet, reasonably priced and comfortable. What else can a guest ask for? If you’re staying in Tucson, this is the place. I know we’ll be back. Well done University Inn Tucson!

First time here, close proximity to the University of Arizona for early morning graduation ceremony. Quiet location and room appeared to be updated. Very comfortable king size bed. Was pleasantly surprised to see a mini fridge in room to keep my beverages cool. Definitely will consider this place again when visiting Tucson.

This hotel fit all of our needs. Staff greeted us nicely at check in. They were tried to meet all of our requests if it was feasible for them. They have a continental breakfast with fruit, oatmeal, donuts, muffins, granola bars, coffee and water. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had black out shades and cold AC! There were a few other amenities that I liked ... blow dryer, make up wipes, refrigerator, microwave, cups, coffee/cream/sugar, plenty of usb ports for charging your phone. AND, there are e-chargers for your car! We didn't go to the pool but it seemed nice. The owner is very hands on and always available. The price was well worth it! I will definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay! The rooms were clean and well-equipped. There was a lot of thought and care put into the room. Plus it was a decent price - I can’t recommend enough!

I liked the refillable dispensers of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. It’s less wasteful and easier to use.

The service service is friendly and accommodating. Our bathtub didn’t have a plug, but the front desk provided one.

I was surprised. My unit was modern, clean and updated. I only do reviews if the company is either surprisingly bad or surprisingly good. These guys obviously work hard to do a good job. Thanks I will stay again.

It was super clean, with modern decor, and no carpet which is always a plus if you have allergies. There were a lot of nice interesting restaurants around, including this Ethiopian one called Zemam's Too. Also can't beat the free parking, would highly recommend.

We stayed here for two nights and three days. This motel is excellent. They send you pictures of the room that you were going to stay in and it was true to life. Beautiful, only problem is that they did mop the floor in the room after we took a shower and walked on the floor are feet were black. That was the only problem everything else was A+.

Great little hotel! We stayed here with our 2 kids. Clerk at the front was friendly and helpful. Room was nicely decorated, clean and smelled very nice too! (No trace of weird smells!) Beds were super comfy! We all had an excellent sleep after hours and hours of travel from Canada. Breakfast was basic continental self-serve which included bananas, yogurt, bagels, toast, cereal, coffee. Overall, we were very pleased and would stay here again.

I stayed here for a work trip and really enjoyed my experience. The staff were all super friendly and very accommodating to my schedule that changed last minute. The inside of the rooms are recently renovated and looked very nice and clean.

As someone who did work from the hotel room, I have to comment on how great the internet speed is - easily 50 to 70 mbps.

The location is good, could walk to downtown easily and shopping was a short drive away. Happy with my choice to stay here.

What a hidden gem! I'm so glad I read the reviews! The staff is wonderful as well. These have been newly remodeled, inside and out! I almost didn't want to share this review because I wanted to keep this place all to myself haha. SUPER clean rooms, linens, & an awesome tv with a telescoping wall mount. The recessed "mood" lighting made for an awesome look at night. We couldn't leave and extended out stay by several days we loved it so much.

Great value for the price. The room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and even my grumpy travel companion complemented them. The rooms appeared to be remodeled in the last year with fresh paint, new tub, tile and granite counters. Although the basic furniture(dresser, night stand, tables,etc), I would categorize as antiques or quaint. TV, refrigerator, microwave and iron all worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Basic continental breakfast in morning with fresh donuts. Pool was clean and sparkling but a little too cold outside for me. It's located downtown close to UofA and as you may think not the best surrounding neighborhood, but owners had security cameras and locked gates at night making it feel secure. Overall, great value and definitely would stay again.

The staff was very helpful. And from the outside it was just like every other cheap motel. But inside was modern and very clean and comfortable and beautiful. Don't judge this book by the cover. I would definitely stay here again.

☆☆☆☆☆☆This place is really nice they must have remodeled recently because everything is new and clean. Really cool color scheme modern and creative. Great price for the room and you could walk to 4th Ave. or downtown. They have usb wall outlets to charge your devices. There's a window in the bathroom so you can have fresh air when showering. The list goes on this place is great. The counters and the sink are is all granite with little pieces of what looks like mirror chips in it,really beautiful and unique.The staff here is really friendly and helpful. I will definitely keep this place in mind the next time I need a room in Tucson. ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Boutique style rooms for non-boutique price. While traveling to San Diego we stayed at the University inn in Tucson. The primary reason why we decided to stay was because they had Tesla destination chargers. So if you're a Tesla owner I'd highly recommend you stay here because the service is pretty good, but the rooms are really nice for what you get especially if you're just staying one night. I really appreciate the attention to detail both in the painting and the decoration; especially in the bathroom. You can tell that that hotel is trying to stay relevant and I think with all the different luxuries and small amenities they provide, they've done so and more. If you're driving through and need to charge your Tesla I can't think of a better place to stay in Tucson than University Inn.
