Walgreens Pharmacy

Bowling Green Walgreen's is horrible. I was switched to them because Rite Aid pharmacy closed and they have treated me like it's my fault. I went to get a prescription for my son who is sick and they said they didn't have our insurance; however, I received my prescription without issue. Then they told me that my insurance denied the medicine. Which is it? You don't have it on file or it denied the medicine? I could barely hear them from the phone at the drive-thru. Then after talking to them for 15 mins they told me they were closing and that I'd have to come back the next day. I then tried to switch to another pharmacy and it took them two days to switch my account over to another pharmacy and I still had to call to get the prescription switched for my son. Absolutely ridiculous and incompetent. If you can't handle the transfer of customers to a pharmacy that is closing, then say "no". Customers should not have to suffer because either you are lazy, or short staffed. I would not recommend Walgreen's pharmacy. Look elsewhere!

The customer service at this pharmacy is terrible. I have a prescription for my son that can sometimes be hard to get in stock. So, I have to call pharmacies to see if they have it, so I can have the dr. Send the script there. This pharmacy will not tell if they have the medication in stock without the Dr sending the script first. This is not helpful at all. Thankfully, there are plenty of other pharmacies in the area who are happy to help, even if the medication is not in stock, they at least tell me.

Rite Aid transplant here. Go somewhere else for your prescriptions. 40+ minute wait in the drive thru on Friday afternoon.
