Sun & Ski Inn and Suites

Wonderful experience, it felt like a 5 star hotel. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING! Wish I spent more time there. The view was so nice, there’s a small brook which you can wake up to every morning. Breakfast had butter and cheese from Cabot Creamery, it was delicious. Definitely recommend.

The bread they serve during continental breakfast is superb. Plus, they serve it along with small containers of Jiff peanut butter (yeah, the name brand stuff!). I'd stay here again just for the bread.
Sure, the room was clean, views were amazing, (nice brook out back), location great, price reasonable, etc, etc. Being dog friendly, always a plus. And the rooms didn't smell like another animal has been there before, so an extra star for that, if I could.
All in all, great place for a vacation. Enjoy the bread during breakfast. If bread and peanut butter isn't your thing on vacation, then I'm sorry. They do server coffee all day, so enjoy that!

In summary, clean, tidy and peaceful. As long as you don't camp out in the room all day you should feel good to get here and rest from a day of travel. Even if you did camp out, there's enough places to visit within walking distance and the yard and stream of the property will provide some entertainment. There is a bowling alley and mini golf on the property, too. The only real issue, for me, is the breakfast provided. If there were heated or cooked items, I would have not felt a need to get a snack soon afterwards.

Dog friendly, great location to Stowe downtown. Tom, manager of property is outstanding, staff very helpful. The grounds are well groomed, a lazy river in the back of property. Mini golf course is here, very fun. We stayed 2 nites, then extended 2 more notes cause we loved this place. Comp breakfast and all day coffee in lobby a plus.

I just love the staff and the multiple cool offerings they have on their property with their restaurant/bar, bowling alley, mini golf course and they have a lovely "yard" with outdoor fire pit, etc right on a beautiful section of the Little River. Its a super cool little spot to stay at without question! :)

We enjoyed our 5 night stay here! It was perfect. The room was very clean and we did not hear any noise from neighbors. The grounds are beautiful with a big grassy area and a river running behind it. We brought our dog. It is very dog friendly. Dog treats at the front desk, waste bags in the backyard, and above all- NO extra pet fee. I was shocked at how much other hotels in the area charge to have your dog stay with you. The location is great. Close to many restaurants, hiking trails and the recreation path is across the street. They have bikes to use. There is also mini golf and bowling alley on site. The pool is very nice. The breakfast was more than we expected. Cabot cheese, Chobani yogurt, fresh fruit, English muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs, apple and orange juice, and granola bars. The staff is very friendly. If we come back to visit we would stay here again! PS- go to a local ice cream shop and get yourself a maple creemee. I was hooked!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They alone are worth the review. We stayed one night to extend our stay after our scheduled departure from a rented condo. Had cookies and hot cocoa packets to treat the kids after skiing all day. And enjoyed the pool. The room had a beautiful back patio view of the river. Rooms themselves are basic, but we weren’t planning to spend the whole day in it - we were either skiing or enjoying hotel amenities.

Great updated motel feel. Rooms were clean, staff very friendly and there's even a babbling brook behind the property's spacious green space. Bowling and minigolf on premises. Very cool place near most everything.

My friend and I stayed here for a night. Location-wise the place is perfect; the hotel locates near Stowe ski area and many restaurants. Parking available which is a plus for us to not worry about driving and parking near the mountain on a busy weekend. Staffs are friendly and helpful guiding to places near and a spot to catch a bus. Comfortable bed and decent breakfast. Would stay here again

Bowling, swimming pool, mini golf and pet friendly. This is a great hotel with wonderful staff. Our dogs and kids were in heaven!

1. Nice place. A little pricey for the price, but Stowe cost about 30% more than Texas cost, so cost was consistent with other places.
2. TV was hard to navigate
3. Cleaning lady did not come till 4 or 5, when we were already in the room, making cleaning difficult.
4. Overall, we were very pleased. Great staff, nice rooms.

Can’t think of anything negative. Breakfast comes in to go boxes. Staff was great, room was clean and quiet. The outdoor space outback was pretty big and well maintained. Didn’t get to bowl or mini golf but both looked cute. Loved that it was within walking distance to an ice cream shop and several restaurants. There’s also a trail across that looks nice to walk/bike on. Would 100% return.

We just had a great week long vacation here! We stayed in a loft room with our 3 children (3, 6 and 9). The room was perfect for our needs with a larger mini fridge, microwave and kcup coffee maker. I loved that our room was on ground level and that we had a screen door to access our patio and a large field. We locked our bikes outside on the patio and were able to access the recreation path easily just by crossing the street. Our kids enjoyed bowling (although it was a bit too loud in there for my taste), as well as the mini golf. We appreciated the included daily breakfast and that hard boiled eggs and Cabot cheddar were served. Our kids loved the pool but did feel like it was a bit too cold. The hot tub was lovely. On Saturday night we loved the unlimited smores by the firepit. Our favorite part was the proximity of our room to the river? Creek? behind the hotel where our kids could roam around for hours in the bed of river rocks. Overall, a lovely vacation and lots of memories made. We would love to come back with more family next year! And our 9 year old wanted us to reserve our room for next year before we checked out, haha :)

Great place to spend a long weekend and bring your dog. Sliding door of the room opens up to the back yard, which is large and all grass. They provide coffee and a breakfast to go every morning. Bowling was a hoot and mini golf was fun! Place is conveniently located. We’ll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sun & Ski Inn and Suites for so many reasons! The location is incredible. There are a few shops, breweries, restaurants and cafes that are just outside of the inn and an easy walk. There is a walking path right across the street that is beautiful and brings you to Main St. This inn is very family friendly and such a fun spot for a family with the bowling and mini golf right at the inn. Additionally, the inn was dog friendly which we loved and it still felt very clean. We loved the breakfast boxes that were available each morning and everyone was so nice! Highly recommend!

Perfect hotel for a family weekend getaway.
Bowling , mini golf and pool all in the same area. The kids had a blast and we didn’t need to go anywhere once we got here, it cant get much better. Thank you to all the staff you guys do a great job. Would recommend 10/10 every time. Will be back

I was staying there for a week while working at a local university. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here for a short trip as we were attending a wedding not far from the hotel. Pool was awesome, didn’t get a chance to do bowling or golf. We ate at the restaurant and if you’re staying at the hotel you do get a discount which does help with cost, because the hotel restaurant wasn’t cheap (but it’s Stowe! ) the staff was awesome, helped us out when we needed it and said hello everytime we walked in the door. Breakfast is small and you can ask for Togo containers, it was filling, but if you want something like pankcakes waffles you’re best bet is to go out for breakfast. My family and I will definitely stay here again, but definitely in the fall!

This hotel was a great choice. The staff was friendly, facilities clean, and the convenient location made exploring easy. Kids loved the clean pool, and the beautiful grounds were a bonus.

Peaceful and quiet, river views from the back of the rooms, small patio with chairs for first floor rooms. Excellent service. Pool and hot tub. Breakfast is continental but included. Not many mosquitoes even though quite wet.
