PARADISE RANCH CASTLE BED & BREAKFAST

This unique B&B experience is as unique as the Central Nevada Desert. We have been coming to Austin for years and took a chance on the Paradise Ranch Castle. Donna is an amazing host and person! I recommend a stay anytime! What a little gem!

This is a fun old-school B&B where the host hangs out with you and makes the breakfast from scratch. The King's Quarters was a great room. You are a ways from, well, anything, but the home is very welcoming and we felt like we had the run of the house for the three nights we were there. We loved spending time with Donna and enjoying the ambience of the house. Highly recommended if you need to be in - or passing through - Austin, NV.

We found the castle on line looking for an interesting place to stay. Donna’s B&B surpassed all our expectations! What a cool place, she and David gave us a royal tour of the property.
The master bedroom is fabulous, the dining hall is fit for a king!
We went into Austin and enjoyed a Friday night pizza and live entertainment at Grandma’s.
We had a great breakfast were on our way, we’ll rested and fed.
A truly wonderful experience!

Get treated like a King & Queen at this unique castle in the middle of Nevada, off the Loneliest Highway. Beautiful drive with lots of wildlife on less traveled highways. We saw wild mustangs on our approach to the Castle. Donna was very friendly and accommodating giving us a full tour of the Castle, explaining construction and showing unique collections. The Kings Suite has a jacuzzi bath with comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in the formal dining room, on time and as ordered. If near Austin, Nevada looking for a place to spend the night, this is the place.

Cannot beat this B and B. Located about 10 miles from Austin, NV.

It is a castle from roof top to dungeon, even a hidden room when the wall opens as only the owner knows how to do. Has an knight in armor and Midieval women in full dress in the huge dining room ( table seated about 12 people). You will love Donna and Dave, a good life story from both of them, but also quiet and humble people. Also, was not expensive! A great night after three nights in a tent!

This place was great. Donna was a wonderful host and very accommodating taking my family on as guests. The castle out in the middle of nowhere Nevada was pretty epic. She has a bar with po table and poker table in the basement for guests to hang out and mingle. Great views of the valley or stars can be had from the castles defense towers/roof. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a fun and different type of place to stay.

I stayed three nights here in September 2021 (a little slow posting a review) with two friends. We enjoyed the castle and Donna's hospitality immensely. This is a great base for exploring the sights of the nearby mountains and remote valleys.

The Paradise Ranch Castle is a very unique place. I don't think you can experience this B&B anywhere else. The castle/house itself was huge! You had access to "the dungeon", a cool western room, with legitimate card tables, and lots of booze. You also had access to the roof of the castle. We took out our drone and flew it across the estate. The mountains were covered with snow and were so picturesque. I would love to come back during a new moon to see the Milky Way! Donna was an awesome host, and made some of the best French toast you'll ever eat👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is the most charming spot in the middle of almost nowhere you will ever see.The hostess ,Donna and her trusty companion Dave are just delightful. The interior looks like a medieval movie set and it is lovely. Not only did she fix us a great breakfast but graciously invited us to dinner as well. The four of us sat around the kitchen table and chatted like old friends. And keep your eye out for the antelope sauntering across the vintage road to the property.

What a unique, beautiful find! My husband and I were on a cross country Harley adventure and had the pleasure of staying here. The decor is unbelievable with something for everyone and the setting in the vast desert is amazing. Donna and David were terrific hosts. We enjoyed the evening visiting with them. Another great adventure for us!

The Paradise Ranch Castle Bed and Breakfast was an exceptional place to stay. We got in very late but Donna waited up for us and greeted us with her happy cheerful disposition. The place was clean and the breakfast was great. I would recommend staying here.

My family and I stayed here in June 2019 (this review is long overdue!!). Our stay was nothing short of spectacular! The accommodations were perfect, very comfortable and the game room was an exciting bonus! We really enjoyed our family time in the "Dungeon" playing music on the juke box, celebrating a family birthday and playing games. The host and hostess were very friendly and breakfasts were amazing!!! -- In response to the negative review about unfinished portions of the castle...talk to the hostess, hear her story and you will understand. None of the unfinished things affected our stay at all!

To anyone considering booking a stay here - do it!!! It will be a decision you will not regret!

Went for a little weekend getaway, what a pleasant stay. The night time sky was incredible and our drive up to big creek was absolutely beautiful. We would like to thank donna and Dave and Lucy as they were very helpful and welcoming host's, we will definitely be back to visit. Thank you guys so much for your hospitality. Robert and maryann.

Paradise Ranch Castle is located in the high desert southwest of Austin with a view of the Toiyabe Range which is especially beautiful when capped with snow in the winter and spring. Although the building is new, its crenelated roof line evokes a medieval castle. We rented two of the bedrooms. Both were beautifully furnished and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Guests have access to museum quality collections of baseball memorabilia and antique dolls as well as a large man cave with movies and a pool table. This part of Nevada is famous for the absence of light pollution from cities. If you visit at the dark of the moon, you will see the Milky Way as you have probably never seen it.

Donna was a lovely host and treated us well. The location is great and easily found by following Google Maps directions. We were there when there was a new moon so were able to see the Milky Way from the roof at night and this was spectacular. Great rooms and great food, thanks Donna!

So much going on here! Unique and intriguing! Star gazing from the rooftop. Wildlife. Game room in the basement! Memorabilia. Like a museum! Fascinating if buildings intrigue you!

Made same day reservation for one night. Got in late but owner (Donna) was accommodating. She gave us a tour and shared some stories about her home (explains the unfinished portions noted in other posts). Talk to the hosts as they have great information to share and recommendations for travel around the area! If we are near, we will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Paradise Ranch Castle B&B! The hosts were so wonderful and friendly and the castle was the coolest place to stay. The memorabilia, the tactfully ostentatious decor and the dungeon where we played pool were just great.

Me and my family had a great experience at Paradise ranch castle. The host was amazing and the breakfast was terrific! I feel completely at home and comfortable! I would totally come back again!

Definitely a one of a kind place. Donna is a wonderful hostess and her castle is an amazing find. Can't wait for an opportunity to return to the serenity of this magical castle.
