Hampton Inn & Suites Youngstown-Canfield

We stay here for a night twice a year to visit family. 1) My support animal loves it. The grounds are clean and there is a little station with doggy bags to encourage all to pick up accordingly. At night light surround the hotel (but don't point into the rooms) so I feel very safe.
2) We are regularly greeted by a smile and cold water and warm cookies.
3) The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of pillows and outlets for recharging.
4) A refrigerator and make-up wipes available, lotions and shampoo are in plentiful supply.
5) The pool is nice, gym is small but has all working equipment
6) Want coffee? Get it here for free, it is better than the Starbucks across the street. Homemade waffles, eggs, fruit, cereal, baked goods are all good.
7) Location is off the highway but is a secluded quiet place. I noticed that lots of big semi trucks in the parking lot. These folks travel a lot and know the best places to stay.

Felt at home from the moment we checked in! Jennifer was very nice and even checked on us both nights we stayed here. We come here every year for work and this will be our home every return visit to stay at! The place is immaculately clean, friendly and felt good! Our room had all we needed and they have a small store for essentials and convenience items if you are in a pinch or have a craving! There is lots nearby that is accessible to you. Very conveniently located as well! We will definitely be back. The lady working breakfast was also very friendly and helpful in the morning! Thank you

We were very impressed with this hotel, especially for the great price. The staff were professional and attentive. Breakfast actually tasted good. The whole building was clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend!

Reviewed previously you will NOT go wrong staying here!! Beautifully maintained, clean and cozy. Great amenities, especially loved the wall mounted shower soap and hair Shampoo, very clean, an eco-friendly with not waste in the trash as with the small bottles!

Has a pool and Gym area well maintained too.

Very nice Hampton Inn. We've stayed here several times over the past 18 months. Location feels really safe/secure, easy parking, and not too far from the major interstates. Very dog friendly - the most dog friendly commercial hotel we've been, too. Every staff member has been super friendly and welcoming. Nice options for gas, dining, and coffee nearby. Highly recommend for travelers who need a place to stay with their pet.

Literally the cleanest room I've ever stayed in, and I travel for a living.

Staff is amazingly friendly, and the location has an infinite number of restaurants close by.

The hotel has fresh-baked cookies available for guests as they check in. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the breakfast area to the guest rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Another reviewer felt they were "dated" but I think the decor is Victorian style, which may appear "dated" to some expecting something newer, but we felt everything was meant to convey an image of luxury.

The breakfast was delicious, as I've come to expect from the Hampton. Another reviewer mentioned the sausage was "undercooked", but the reality is the hotel likely gets their food items in fully pre-cooked, as do many commercial kitchens. It's a hotel, not a real restaurant! The sausage was delicious and fully cooked, just not browned. The omelettes are always SO good. I love breakfast at the Hampton!

We booked a one-bedroom suite, which includes a separate living room and kitchenette area, and whirlpool tub. We loved having the extra space, and the raised bar in the kitchenette was great for eating take-out! Everything was clean, and the staff had even folded some bath towels into a "shirt and necktie" and "seashell" appearance!

The management team here has done a great job maintaining this property and keeping up the standards I've come to expect from a Hampton property. Keep up the great work!

This is a great hotel to stay at. Everything was clean and well maintained, the staff were present and friendly. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

I rarely give 5 stars for a hotel but this one was amazing! Very clean, helpful staff. Nice pool. The beds are a little softer than what I like but that seems to be common with hotels. I didn't get a picture of the room but it was very spacious and even had a pull out couch.

Service was exceptional. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A lot of little extras that made it even better. Will definitely choose this location again. The complimentary breakfast was pretty much the same as other hotels. Pool was nice also.

First time staying at this location. Very clean rooms and large well lit bathroom. Very nice!

Hotel is very nice and rooms were clean. They have even have rooms with a fireplace, which is almost unheard of in this price range. Lots of good food choices nearby as well.

One of the better Hampton Inns that I have stayed in. My wife thought it was the best hotel breakfast she's had in a long time- mostly because they actually warm up the syrup for the waffles and banana bread waffles.

The downside of the place is that it is advertised as being close to the Ohio Turnpike (I-76), which it admittedly is, but it is not close to any exit off of the turnpike. That means that it's about a 15 minute drive through the boonies of suburban Youngstown after you exit before you get to the hotel. Still probably worth the drive, though.

During my travels over the last two years, I've come across many hotels scrimping on service. It's a necessity during the pandemic, but this hotel was not one of these offenders. We stayed overnight during our trip to the midwest, and we were extremely pleased with how clean and well-kept this property is. Stay here with confidence that you will have a wonderful stay in a super-clean hotel.

Until this hotel, we have NEVER been able to give a 5 star review. But this hotel had it all! It was the cleanest place we've stayed in a long time! And the service staff were amazing!

Front desk staff was helpful and prompt. Breakfast staff (MaryAnn) was phenomenally friendly. The rooms were immaculately clean. Price was perfect for a family of 6 to stay in a suite with plenty of room for all. This is our new stop as we travel between Midwest and East Coast. This hotel’s service, friendly staff and ease of access made me sign up for their points program as I plan on staying here again.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. Staff was very welcoming. Cookies were in lobby upon arrival, and hersheys kiss on the bed. Breakfast was good. Can’t ask for more from a Hampton Inn!
